  1. I'll do my best to attend ((Sorry if this seems rude to mention here, but last I heard, Aedan was getting married to Maiavel? This was a good week and a half ago... Or is it a different Aedan?))
  2. Oh, Sorry about that. It randomly gets created when I create a zip folder for some reason. It doesn't hurt.
  3. ((Sure, why not. In the end it comes to the same thing: We want the undead either dead or out of our lives completely))
  4. This is unacceptable... I may want to investigate this a bit more, but some of these listed things ring a bell... ((Except for the molesting thing. I can understand that. You may want to use a different word, like "fought" or "attacked", "assaulted", or "pursued". just saying. Molesting is kinda... Sexual. And when there's indead involved in that, you know it can't be good.))
  5. SKINS UPDATED!!! http://www.mediafire.com/?dezie7e8ijgdgkz The originals were too dark, so I made the actual color a really dark grey instead of completely black- It still looks like it's black in game, don't worry. It just doesn't make you look like you're a black hole anymore! @Pholom Yes, you do need to change the face, lol. Download the new skins folder- I included a guide on how to properly edit your skin :) I might write a program that does it for you later, but I don't have the time right now. (Yes, I am a programmer.) @SimonBane Slenderman. We need to brofist, now. And yes, I said it was indicated by you, I never said you were the one who made it. Credits to Natheus for the design, then!
  6. ((Get the adobe photoshop CS5 extended trial from the main adobe website, and use this key: 1330-1927-7762-6383-0202-0414 If that doesn't work for you, follow this guide http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ue-R-pkV ... re=related )) The sign was indicated by Simon in his original skin topic. http://i53.tinypic.com/aw5kt5.png It's that thing on the back.
  7. Cool trick, but um, get photoshop xD Also, your skin doesn't have the group's symbol on it.
  8. The last post here was in June. What you just did is the worst form of necromancy, bringing back a dead topic. Indeed, you just necroposted From what I understand, a lot of forum mods are intolerant of necroposts, so try not to do it. On the other hand, considering that that WAS a necropost and there have been no updates in 2 months, yes, it would appear to be an inactive guild.
  9. Not a problem. Although I have a duty to stay good, if I ever chose to become a villain, I would apply for advanced evil and join this. Like a baws. I made the skin in it :3
  10. ((That would be metagaming, as you shouldn't know it's the same guy. Of course, you could always make it seem like an uber coincidence.)) -walks past the grave- Algor, eh? Had a nice run. It's good to finally see someone teach you a permanent lesson. -continues walking-
  11. Nice stuff, but umm, your ranks suck. Well, actually it's just that 2 don't make sense- Ascending from darkness - That would imply that their character is getting less dark, and I don't think that's the idea at all since the next rank is descended into darkness. And then there's Bane of Darkness - The bane of something usually signifies that it's the undoing of said thing. This would imply that you, the leader of a dark organization, destroy all darkness. I suggest trying something like Shadow Bane or something, but make sure you're not doing the opposite of your job, eh? P.S. I replied on your skins topic
  12. EDIT: I probably won't get to writing this in time. Damn, life has great timing to get overly busy xD.
  13. ((I tried contacting you but you were offline)) OK, well, thanks for the info. That would be really awesome, if you could do that. I would appreciate it. However, would it be possible for me to build my own house, using my own materials? I'm pretty big on customization, so even if you chose to build it for me, it'd likely undergo multiple changes! Anyhow, I'd like to buy the biggest plot of land I can get with 4500 minas, even if it's only 1 story tall! I'll get more money in due time after that and expand at my own rate. Thank you, ~Zaverix
  14. Hail! Today I came across this home in serpents ridge. It's a very nice place, and I'd be interested in buying it if it's for sale. However, it has no information on it! It looks completely unoccupied, and it even lacks a door. ((I checked with a piece of string, the region is serpenthouse11)) Could a landowner give some information? Thanks!
  15. Hmm... I like serpents ridge a lot, but it seems all the lodgings are taken. Plus I'd like a larger house there. Would it be possible to expand Serpent's Ridge a bit, and have larger (3000-4000) minas houses?
  16. Great story! Very, very well written. Although mentioning it in game would be metagaming, at least I, as a role-player, know a bit more of your background. Again, very good job! Hmmm, I should probably write my own sometime soon.
  17. Out-Of-Character: -Minecraft Account Name: WingsIsaac -How old are you?: 15 -Time-Zone/Country of Residence: GMT + 1/France -Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: It's all relative. For a fifteen year old living in France? My English is impeccable. For a fifteen year old who has lived in California most of his life? I dare say it is still so. I have no comprehension or expression problems. -Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: Describing me is somewhat of a challenge, as my personality varies from time to time, but I will do my best: I am very resourceful, sharp-witted, and if you will, sharp tongued. I don't refrain from saying what is on my mind, and often come across as rude. I never outright intend to be rude however, and am, for the most part, very kind and respectful towards fellow players. I would never EVER try to damage others' experience of this seemingly glorious corner of the internet. -How much time could you be on the server weekly?: My schedule is irregular, but for the most part I will surely be able to spend a minimum of 5 hours weeks, and a maximum of about 50. -How long have you played minecraft?: I first joined minecraft in beta 1.1, shortly before the 1.2 update. I am very familiar with most every concept of the game, and even created my own mods. -What do you know about roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?: Although I have spent little time role-playing, I am very good at percieving boundaries and have learned, after praise from fellow role-players, that I am very adept at keeping in the role-play, and also at engaging with others in the role-play. I have mainly done text-based role-plays, although I have done a few G-Mod role-plays. I have never, to be honest, participated in a MineCraft role-play. But there's a first for everything, right? -What do you expect this server will be like?: I cannot claim to have any detailed expectations, although I do expect to have a lot of fun here. The idea is brilliant, and I happen to love LoTR! -What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: As I previously mentioned, I have never played a minecraft role-play. However, I have done two text based role plays: One was street-life based, with police, gangsters, and organized crime, and another was a roleplay about a wizarding school (no, not Harry Potter based). I left those because the story had ended, and the roleplay thus ended completely. In G-Mod, I have tried multiple RPs, but after a few cycles, each seemed to get repetitive and bland. -Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? What about the lore?: Yes. I have read and understood the rules, and will, from this moment on, abide by them. Also, the lore was, although short, an impressive piece of writing. Kudos to whoever wrote it. -Name the 4 races on this server. The four playable races, AKA Descendant races, are Humans, Elves, Orcs, and dwarves. Undead, Ascended, Aengul, and Daemon are the non-playable races, which fall under the categories of Noble races and Ancient races, respectively. -How did you hear about us?: I was downloading the LB Photo Realism pack, and I saw mention of this RP. I decided to check it out, as it is of interest to me, and I truly think I won't regret it. :3 -Did you vote?: Well... I originally wasn't going to, but then I saw this question. I'm an honest person, so I decided to vote so I could get by this one without bothering my conscience. You certainly are a crafty bunch, aren't you? I must add that personally, I disapprove of adding voting to your registration steps. Of course, I'm not the boss around here. that's just my point of view. -What was your favourite Law?: Am I obliged to have one? All the 'Laws' are quite necessary and sensible things to maintain an appropriate atmosphere for a Role-Play, or simply to keep things in order. If I must, I will say it is no mindless spamming. Why? There's no scroll up option in minecraft chat. -What was your least favourite Law?: 'You must have a forum account' It's not that I don't like it, it's mainly that I think it's the least necessary. Oh, I would like to mention that 'You must play in character' and 'you must stay in character' should probably have their positions switched on the law list, so it follows up better. -What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name? Zaverix In-Character: -Character Name: Zaverix (If I must have a title, I'll go with [Priority order] Zaverix_son_of_Isaac, if possible. If not, just Zaverix_the_marksman, or Archer_Zaverix, or something that revolves around that. ) -What is your Race?: Elf -Lordofthecraft.net/forum forum account: Zaverix -Biography: ( ) Zaverix was raised far from other elves; He lived on a large farm with his father, Isaac, and his younger brother, Eysaran. His mother passed away while giving birth to Eysaran, who is 3 years younger than Zav. Zav went to school at a nearby town where he learned to read and write. When he was just 13, a band of orcs came through and took his younger brother hostage until Zav's father relinquished the deed to the land. For the next 3 years Zaverix's small family wandered around, staying no longer than two weeks in one place, so as to not outstay their welcome. For those three hard years, Zav's hatred for orcs built up, and he worked nonstop, hoping to be able to do something about it someday. He trained archery and swordsmanship day in and day out, and when he wasn't doing that, he was reading (he had to keep reading on his own to stay in practice, as he had to leave his school) or doing handiwork. Near the beginning of the third year, Zav's family wandered near their old farm. This had been what he had been training for. As night fell, they set up camp, and in the middle of the night, when he was certain his brother and father had fallen asleep, Zav rose up and left towards the farmland. The details of that night were never explained to anyone, but the next morning, Zav's father chose to investigate their old farm. He returned donning a grim expression, reporting that he found 7 fresh orc corpses that had been brutally slain, some by arrow, some by sword, and each and every one, defiled, mutilated. Expecting to hear praise for whoever freed their home from the orcs, Zav... Was taken off guard. His father swore, out loud. "Whoever did this is a monster. Even the life of warmongering pillagers are to sacred to be done away with like this. What a disgrace... May the gods shed light upon the misdeeds of the people responsible for this, and punish them accordingly." Zav was shaken to the very core. He could not look his father in the eyes for the following year, which he spent, alone in the world of books. His father urged him cheerfully to do something productive, not realizing what was on the heart of his son. Zaverix decided to make up for his unspoken misdeed and please his father by taking up blacksmithing. For the next 6 months, he toiled away, although not particularly talented, assembling armor and tool and sword, producing a finer and finer product, until the day he realized his father was not the only one he had to make it up to. 6 days after his 17th birthday, he bid farewell to his father and brother, giving his father his finest armor, and his younger brother his sword and bow as a parting gift. He went to the capital, ready to begin a new life. -Character Age: 17 -Character Appearance: Zaverix has brown hair and blue eyes (Uncommon combination, aye, but whatever. If brown hair isn't allowed for elves, I can deal with change.) he wears a brown leather overshirt and a green cowl with a long hood and yellow wool rimming. His pants are white, and he has common brown boots. -Character Personality: Much like my OOC self, only a bit more distant and perhaps a bit reserved. He's very careful about what he says and how he says it when around people he's not familiar with. -Your ambitions: I personally want to have fun and be social with other people who take interest in role-playing in a blocky LoTR-like world. As for my character, I want him to progress basically as a citizen in LoTC, and perhaps advance up the heirarchy to eventually become an esteemed member of his community. Other than that, I want to explore all the features in this server by making my character take part in all the features and do all the functions he is allowed to do. -Can your character read or write?: Yeah -Can your character mine?: Although it is not his specialty, he surely has the strength to do so. -Are you a capable builder? I would say I am, although being used to using world edit, I am not the kind patient enough to either collect the resources or to simply build a large creation. I should be fine as long as I'm not asked to single-handedly build a castle, though. -Can you wield a sword?: My character? Yes In real life?... Yes. (Seriously.) -Enjoy Farming?: I can do it for a while, but I do get tired of it by the 3-4th minecraft day. -Does your character have any special skills?: Talented archer, "Magnificent Bastard" (Manipulative), and extremely resourceful. -A screenshot of your skin: http://oi53.tinypic.com/256yaue.jpg (Yes, I added pointed ears.) -Other Information: While I am not particularly experienced in role-play, I have written many fan-fictions and personal stories before, and therefore have much experienced with writing, in character or out of character, narrating, or describing. Oh, and I also know programming in Java (minecraft and bukkit are made in this.)
