  1. ((Vote 1/2, you're halfway to being accepted!) ((Carl is a friend of mine IRL and I will vouch for his active - ness on the server))
  2. The village charter has been accepted! Only 5 more signatures till we get a town charter! If you haven't signed the charter, please do ((the link is a few posts up))
  3. ((We have only just got the application accepted, so Casamir is showing the mod the area he wants))
  4. Alras don't want us, which means our last hope is the monk sanctuary before we go to the wilds, this is the monk sanctuary charter: (please sign) http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/38852-nornheim-village/
  5. Guys try to sign the charter so that we can get some land!
  6. Acceptance vote 1/2, you're halfway to being accepted. Once you get accepted fully, please sign the charter so that we can establish our fort. ((the charter is 2 posts up))
  7. We are currently situated in a small house in Salvus i think it is. We are trying to negotiate a charter currently as everybody wants one. We may need your signature on the charter though so stick around
  8. ((He's thinking of what to do at the moment, my best suggestion would be to give it a while, we should have it all sorted out by the reset.))
  9. ((The editor seems to make a new post for some reason?..))
  10. ((I assure you I am normally online for a fair amount of time, the problem at the moment is that I really can't be bothered to do anything what with the reset this weekend, there isn't really much of an incentive if you are starting all over again in a few days. Let's just say in Skyrim you don't suddenly lose all your stuff and have to restart lol.)) ((See ya this weekend))
  11. ((D3LLI5, and my IC name is Bob_Darastrix, or just Bob (it was a joke when I started, to annoy the people who spent years trying to think of a name) ))
  12. ((Reset's this coming weekend))
  13. ((Well i'm GMT, i'm pretty sure we could always find you a place in battles and general military stuff as an auxiliary warrior, you would still need to complete a few tests however.))
  14. ((Sounds really promising. You sound to me like someone who would do well in the economic sector of the guild, at the moment we have a distinct lack of volunteers to become merchants, shop keepers, farmers and miners. I will give you your first vote of the two, i'm pretty sure you would be a great help to us upon the reset, bearing in mind you can't build a castle without stone and the prevalent fact that we will have a lack of any form of food related infrastructure. Your help would be well noted, granting you respect from other members.)) ((P.S. if you want to be part of the military side of things, that's fine.)) ((P.P.S. what timezone are you?))
  15. ((Awesome, i'm GMT too, that'll make things a lot easier.))
  16. ((Vote 1/2, you're halfway to being accepted. As far as I know, (the whole system is being reworked at the moment) we will have some sort of seperate ranger/archer sort of thing, of which I will be responsible for. Personally I would wait until the reset before 'starting' and i'm sure that if you help us build our new castle you would go up in our opinions. What timezone are you in?))
  17. To get to the current fort, go to the Human capital city just outside of Al'Khazar, turn right from the entrance as you exit and follow that path, you should reach a signpost pointing to a path through the forest to get to the keep within a very short distance. (the sign will be on your left).
  18. ((Casamir and Khnum are EST, I have no idea what timezone Lastguyplaying is, but my timezone is GMT. At the moment Casamir is the only one who can set up permissions in the keep so you will have to somehow speak to him even though he's on the other side of the earth. (i have the same problem as you). I will talk to him and ask about what will be done to solve this.))
  19. ((ATTENTION ALL NEW RECRUITS! Casamir has asked that all new recruits be fully accepted in the current fort (this weekend) so that you can have something to do until the reset. We fully understand how this must be quite hard for you what with all the waiting but I urge you to remember that those who stay with us will have a guaranteed place in the new fort, by which time we will have implemented stricter acceptance rules. Many thanks, Bob))
  20. ((perhaps you could work on your application a little as it is quite confusing. I will give you your vote 1/2 anyway though because we need a lot of miners to support the construction of the new castle, perhaps then you could prove your loyalty.))
  21. ((Vote 1/2 you're halfway to being accepted. I see that your thing says that you are 'The Merchant', if this is the case, we are seriously lacking on the economic side of the guild. I'm sure that if you became part of said part of the guild, you would have a lot more power than most other people in this guild so please consider this option. Come and help us build the new castle upon the reset, we will post the coordinates here.))
  22. ((ok then, come help us build the new castle if you can, coordinates will be posted here))
  23. ((Vote 1/2 you're halfway to being accepted. As I said in an earlier post, big things are still being changed within the guild so what I am about to say may be not necessarily true in a week. Anyway, at the moment the guild is divided into three sections, warriors, rangers and merchants with the current aim within the leadership being to come up with new sections and hierarchies. With someone like you, who may not excel at the sword or bow, you could still join the rangers or the warriors but the amount of training you would have to do would be pretty horrendous. To outline the three sections, warriors are the driving force of the guild, earning money through escorts and raids, they will also have a sub-section of guards who will be charged with the defense of the castle. The rangers perform the more subterfuge based jobs, scouting jobs and provide a supporting role in battles in the form of archery and traps. Assassinations, counter intelligence and intelligence are just a few of the things that a skilled ranger would do that are wildly different from warriors. The merchants are effectively the economic side of things in the guild, without them the guild would fall apart. Hence, nearly everybody to do with the facilities, feeding and other non-combat things would be classed as a 'merchant'. With your said aptitude for writing, I would consider putting you in charge of the guild library as one of your jobs (we cannot give each merchant one job for the moment, what with a lack of numbers). Merchants are vital to the guild and make a lot of money along the way, making them some of the most powerful members of the guild and granting them the ability to join the council through pure influence over other members. Your redstone skills could be put to great use in the construction of the castle as we are thinking of deforesting the local area around the castle and just filling it with traps, leaving a single path to the gates, where a drawbridge could completely deny enemies access. If this doesnt seem like the right path for you, i'm sure I could find you a place in the military side of things.))
