  1. I was unaware that Orcs eat other races. O.O I have much to learn about my race!
  2. But, aren't the elves having issues with the dwarves right now? I heard a rumor that the dwarves were threatening to go to war with the elves because some dwarves refuse to leave the forests and the Dwarf king is condemming the elves for letting them stay. Could just be a rumor, but it would make an interesting RP if the elves and orcs teamed up for that reason. I mean... Orcs don't need a reason for war, but the elves have one! XD
  3. I picked the Orc race specifically for the challenge of playing a female orc. It's quite fun, but since my orc female is a warrior and wears pants and a pony tail, I get called "Brudda" a lot. XD Thank you Mogroka, BTW! You knew! XD But seriously, my character would never win any beauty pagants, and she would break you in half if she tried to hug you, but she still has mood swings and other girly stuff. lol
  4. I like this very much. :) I think making shamans more into the realms of mages and druids gives much more flexibility with RP. While I like the idea about giving Trolls advances to wood cutting or even making them forest dwelling... I have to wonder about the lore as it is now. As it is now, it says Orcs live in the desert, but "orcs" is the race from which all the current subraces are devised. So the lore may have to be rewritten in that case. ALSO, who would the Trolls ally with in time of war? If they're forest people would they side with the elves, or with the Orcs whom they are related to?
  5. I'm drawing my orc character Azdul. :) Guess I'll post her here when it's done. Fair warning though, it's gonna be black and white.
  6. I find this topic interesting! Especially since when I joined the amount of female orc applications seemed to be growing. (I'm a female orc btw! You can't really tell... BUT I AM! XD) I don't see the point of giving up all of your possessions, but I do appreciate the symbolism. I see it more like Orc couples would be more apt to fight together. More fighting together means more "heat and passion" from battle and thus...better sex? XD That seems more logical to me.
  7. Now you're making me wonder about my own post! XD If I ever said "lean" in my appearance, I meant that the body had muscle and little fat. Perhaps it wasn't the best word to describe it, but it matters little now. I picture the Orcs as giants (with the exception of Goblins). Green or brown tinted skin is also what I picture along with bodies that have more muscle mass than other races. I pictured strong jaws with large teeth and small eyes, but not to the extent of the Warhammer 40K Orcs. ......If you could take the Hulk, and make his shoulders a little more narrow (Those suckers are huge), push his lower jaw out and give him some pokey teeth, and maybe some slightly pointed ears.... That is what I pictured the majority of the Orcs to look like. And all of these Orcs who are saying that little muscle is okay, seem to be playing A-typical Orcs that aren't warlike at all.

She was the runt out of seven children, and so was oddly small and weak compared to her brothers and sisters. She was left behind around the age of nine or ten to fend for herself. As such, she had to learn much of her skills on her own. The first time she went hunting, looking for meat became a fateful occurrence that altered her path forever. She found the cow, all by itself, and charged. Because she was weaker than was to be expected, she couldn’t kill the cow with her bare hands. She had to use a blade. Clumsily, she grabbed hold of the cow and brought her crude blade across his throat. Blood coated her blade, her hands, everything. A shining, fragrant blanket of red stained the desert sands. Azdul’s body shook with excitement and adrenaline. All thought vanished. She stabbed the cow again to watch the blood flow once more… She had strength! She had power! Her blade was quick and true despite her sweating palms. Perhaps there was hope for her after all. After that day, Azdul trained rigorously, and over time her skin began to pull tight as muscles formed beneath and her body grew bigger, stronger, and sturdier. Ten years later, Azdul had transformed from a scrawny Orc runt into a bigger, tougher creature than anyone in her family would have thought. She remained a street rat, never looking to rejoin the family that kicked her out to fend for herself, and learned skills one could only acquire from living in conditions where every man is for himself. Though she is simple like her lifestyle, Azdul does have hopes and dreams. And those dreams lie in the blood strewn halls of the Arena. -Character Age:20 -Character Appearance:Azdul stands at seven feet tall and has a large body that is corded with rock hard muscle. Her short, shaggy, black hair, large jaw, and muscular body make it easy to mistake her for a male orc. However, she has large, rounded eyes that are more common in females, as well as longer fingers and less bulky hands. Her skin is a soft green and her eyes are bright yellow. She wears a skin hugging half shirt with a hood to shield her eyes from the harsh desert sun, brown pants that are usually spotted with dirt and mud, and black boots. -Character Personality:Azdul is not highly educated, but she is not dumb. Rather, she has the sly cunning and “street smarts” of a being who’s spent their life fending for themselves. A bit abrasive even upon first meetings, Azdul can easily approach, but is not always easily approachable. Azdul’s true love and livelihood is combat. The rush of battle consumes her spirit and makes her a valuable ally in battle… and a fearsome enemy once it is through. Azdul is always looking for the strongest newcomers to challenge. To Azdul, violence is almost always the answer. She won’t hesitate to initiate a fight in order to solve a conflict. -Your ambitions:Azdul’s desire is to become the most feared and respected Arena Gladiator in Aegis. She trains day after day with the thought of battle and glory in her mind. She wants people to flock to the arenas, driven by rumors that Azdul Vaurk will be fighting. -Can your character read or write?:No. Although this doesn’t bother her, it can be difficult at times to follow written directions. -Can your character mine?:Azdul is a fairly decent miner, although she doesn’t recognize the differences among some of the rarer gems, she knows what coal and iron look like as she has mined those most frequently. -Are you a capable builder?Although she cannot build anything grand, complex, and luxurious quite frankly she wouldn’t have the patience to do so if she could. Azdul can build simple dwellings and structures, but usually with the guidance of a more experienced builder. -Can you wield a sword?:Yes. Azdul trains regularly in the art of combat in the hope of achieving her aspirations. -Enjoy Farming?:No. It is maddeningly dull and Azdul does not bother with it. -Does your character have any special skills?: To many people’s surprise, Azdul can cook very well. However, it is not a hobby she would like to turn into a business. -A screenshot of your skin: http://imgur.com/qVomz -Other Information:Azdul had not traveled far from the Orc Nation of Kragrum for most of her life since she can’t read direction signs. Her sense of direction is terrible.
