    Petition To The Council

    This is unacceptable.

    Hawk has done so much for Oren and even more for Renatus, then he is dismissed from both his positions without clear reasoning or a fair chance to defend himself. I personally have seen disarray and lack of communication from the council and question their ability if these are the kind of informative decisions we can expect from them. How can we trust this council is properly unified and organised when not all of them are voting on critical issues?

    I ask that you all come to an agreement on solid, unbiased reasoning for Hawk's removal from the Rangers or reinstate him immediately. This request is nothing other than fair and just.

    With the amount of support Hawk has, don't you wonder if you are making the right decision?

    How Long will you be online per week.

    It will range from 12-30 hours a week depending on work, my shifts are random to say the least.

    Experience

    In ye olde days when I was younger, I was part of a Counterstrike: Source clan who had their own phpBB forums. I became a Forum Moderator there and eventually a Forum Administrator. The community was much smaller than this one, around 30-50 people, but it was very active and I took the role very seriously. I kept a watchful eye over the forums with two other Forum Moderators and quickly resolved and stopped disputes, helped people with any issues they had, as well as kept the forums tidy and active! I did this for several years until the clan dissolved and in that time I became very familiar and confident with the role, what was expected, and how to do it.

    This is the only moderating experience I've had, any other forums I've joined I did not moderate. In all honesty it's been a while since I've been so enthusiastic about one.

    SeriousZone Forums.

    Various other smaller forums that I can't even remember the name of.

    Why I should be a FM

    Well I've been thinking about this decision long and hard for a while now. I remember much about being an FM on the old DSoBB Forums, and would love to help this community as much as I can. Like I said above, it's been a while since I've had real passion and motivation for a community, but LotC has really ensnared me, it's something I really care about, and I want to do more for it. I took that first step when I applied to join the Application Team, and have greatly enjoyed doing it, I'd even go so far as to say it's been an honor. Now that applications are under control I'd like to help in a wider sense, throughout the forums.

    My previous experience is still clear in my head and I like to think I remain professional, respectful, honest, mature and unbiased at all times, hopefully my time on the Application Team has shown all these things. It should also have shown that I don't abuse power and am loyal to maintaining a positive atmosphere on both the server and the forums. The Application Team position is important to me and is taken seriously and responsibly. My knowledge of rules is something I pride myself on! You'll find no irrelevant ban report posts without evidence or a stray bit of spam from me :)

    I try to be as helpful to others as I can when dealing with their applications, and around the forums when possible. I realise I'm not the most social on TeamSpeak, but I'm somewhat shy at times. The time I spend on the forums is quite extensive though, often checking them several times a day because they're filled with wonders and joys to behold.

    The forums are already a great place and well looked after, I humbly put forward my name because if you require it, I would love nothing more than to aid the staff and people in this community further and I feel I would make you proud in doing so.

    This place is something special, and at the very least I'd like to thank you for it.

    As so many have said before me, do please be honest. While I was initially terrified at the prospect of being judged, I've decided I would welcome criticism and am keen to improve upon any areas I may be lacking in. Thanks for reading and all that jazz!

    I knew this would happen, the rebellion has caused nothing but trouble. I hope they are pleased with the results they've wrought.

    I'll be damned if I let what's left of Oren fall to these monsters! Southern Oren WILL hold.

    It greatly saddens me to see Oren in such disarray, I hope you all come to your senses soon. It surely would not take the undead long to act upon this, it's exactly what they want from us.

    Gaius is King, highly qualified, and that's that.

    Give the man a chance before you throw up your arms and condemn our beloved country to damnation.

    While Gaius' past actions have made many uneasy, I believe he has the necessary traits to lead Oren into a new golden era. I urge my fellow people to think carefully before tossing away our reputation once more, and think of what glory we could achieve with this man at the helm.

    He wants to help us, and you do nothing more than throw us into chaos? I cannot side with the latter.
