Roleplaying effectively as a Kharajyr
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is a brief guide on how to roleplay effectively as a Kharajyr and an ape kha' (whitewash). There is however few things I like to mention that is required to be followed to avoid breaking the Kharajyr lore.
-All adult Kharajyr must walk on two legs and must be able to speak. If you want to be a big pet cat, you are playing the wrong race as you would be roleplaying a animal not a Kharajyr.
-No cub/cat sized Kharajyr.
-If you are planning on remaining a kitten your entire life, it’s not possible as it is just a excuse to be cat.
-NO NUDITY, the lore still applies to the Kharajyr.
-You cannot have white fur. Only those chosen by Metztli to become Tlatlanni are capable of having white fur. The Tlatlanni is chosen OOCly, you cannot have excuse in-game that you were chosen or born that way.
The Kharajyr
Kharajyr is a race similar to that of orcs and high elves. They are violent, racist, dishonourable, tribal, and highly religious to their Goddess Metztli. The Kharajyr think they are superior to other races, they are the first creations of Metztli while the rest of creatures were the last.
There’s not much to know other than Kharajyr are an Aztec/Egyptian cultured race that lives in jungle environment to hunt in and care after.
Kharajyr can often come off as selfishly honourable due to the fact that no Kha’ likes being disrespected. It’s not uncommon to come across a cheating Kharajyr if it benefits them or their race in the end, especially in fights.
They are lead by their Tlatlanni(Tla’), the first breed of Kharajyr to live. The Tlatlanni has white fur and he is respected due to the fact that he/she has close link to Metztli as well as the priests.
Religion is highly respected in Kharajyr culture, and no insults to the Tla’, priests, or Goddess Metztli will be tolerated. The punishment is death, executed by sacrifices often performed in a temple or near a shrine as offering to the Goddess Metztli.
Kharajyr have a unique accent that mainly due to culture.
The Kharajyr has been stuck in their old ways, they would disagree the existance of other gods and everything they do not understand such as magical creatures, storms, natural disasters, magic, deaths and the conquences are concluded it is the work of their Goddess Metztli.
They wear Aztec, Egyptian, or tribal clothing that often contains lapis or bronze jewelry, battle armour, loincloths, chest belts etc.
You have freedom to do whatever you’d like with the exception of abandoning your culture, or Metztli as your Goddess. This means you can join guilds as well as talk to other races but it’s taboo to enter intimate relationships with apes (All races but Kha’). Some Kha’ even become close friends with apes, out of respect or acts of kindness.
Ape kha’
We are encouraging players to roleplay Kharajyr properly by following the culture and religion but if you decide to not bother following the culture, you must at least follow the guidline of how not to break Kharajyr lore.
Ape kha' is a term that an Kharajyr abandons the culture and/or religion to follow another race culture/beliefs. They are a heretic and abandoning their creator, Metztli. You would be hunted and asked to convert or die.
We ask you to roleplay what Kharajyr was implemented to do, follow the culture and religion that was instructed.
