    Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: - Arlean was born in Anthos on a border town with Oren. When she was 3 the war with Oren broke out. her town was attacked and she fled to the cloud temple and north in Malinor where she hid for some years. after the war ended she rejoined Urgaun and volunteered for the legion. she was never good at fighting but she obey her orders and since then she has helped the kingdom with the progress of INDUSTREH!!! and she content and she is learning new skills.
     
    What are they like (personality)?: - Lawful Neutral, rather kindly, a little bit shy around other people though she will converse if needed.
     
    What are their ambitions?: - She wants to become a master craftsman, preferably a smith like her father but

    She has yet to excel in any skill but she a female dwarf so she does have the ability to make people stare in amazement as if she is a mythical creature.

    An Elderly Elf takes up his soapbox “I, Earendur Vym’vallei announce my candidacy for the postion of Sohaer.”

     

     

     

    His then gives the following speech, which a written copy of the speech is posted in the Inn for all Mali’aheral to see and discuss.

     

    “Fellow children of Larihei, We have finally regained our home and as such we are now called to elect ome Sohaer niut’eyha Med’ir. As such we have a duty to elect the candidate most worthy of each post. And my record has showed that I am an effective diplomat and truly Mali’thill.”

     

    He then looks to the gathered Mali’aheral are giving him a questioning look.

     

    “Many of you refer to me as ‘The Druid’ and in turn think me Mali’ata. However Elmardruian have gave me leave from the order if I should ran for office in Haelun’or if I should be elected to any office. They’re only condition is that I am not to wage war on the order without a genuine a to resolve the differences are made first, to which I responded that if a situation similar to that regarding Vallel happens again where the order refuses multiple time to give up a criminal then I will not stay my hand on the matter. It is on this agreement that which I am free to run for office without fear of unattunement. However, if you still truly think such petty thoughts as my impurity then report me to The Weeping Blades. If not, then proceed to refute my ideas instead of my person.”

     

    After the exchange he takes deep breath and regains himself

     

    “I am running Sohaer because I believe that we have the ability to do great things. All that is needed is to have leaders wise enough to achieve said goals and to space to do it in. I refuse to believe that we are simply bond to the curses. We should not be murders of those we deem distasteful; we should not covet our distant kin as if the are a treasure to hoard; we should not be so blinded by our pride that we can not see our cihi being ceased from us; most of all we should not be unproductive and let our bloodlines wither and die out. However, we should are scholars, artists of words, paint, and sound. We are masters of our gifts of magic, and we should be those who make advancements in science; we should fight the eternal impurity of necromancy and the taint of Elmarmalieir; and we should not cower as a fire rages outside our walls.”

     

    Earendur then pauses for a moment before continuing.

     

    “Many of you may wonder what record of diplomacy I have within Elcihi. I have two prime examples to show how I aided Mali’thill in time of need. Firstly was in the fringe during The Second Fringe War, the other being when Elmali’ame encouraged genocide against us.

    During The Second Fringe War, I was a guide in The Druid Order when war was about to break out against our kin and The Order. The main reason I wished to avoid should a conflict was to avoid a war we could not win, as the druidic order was headquartered in the fortress of Kal’Arkon. I knew that if we attacked that if we attacked the high and thick walls of Kal’Arkon with the manpower we had at the time, our kin would be slaughtered at the gates. It took quite some time given The Naysayer’s hyperbolic nature. But we made peace before such a slaughter can happen. I did this by having The Order give up the criminals Ouity and Milo, and by having them forcibly myself as guide, which is a sacrifice I was and am willing to take to protect our kind.

     

    The second example is when our kind was being slaughtered in the passing roads. My motivations were the same in this case, which is that our kin should not be wiped off the face of Athera for the tricks of The Betrayer. I thought that Phaedrus a sense of honor before this instance but I could not shake his bloodlust. So I can to turn to the most unlikely ally, Rusk’Dom, who was Phaedrus’ closest supporter on the genocide. I inform the then High Sharman that the druidic Order is not pleased to with the assault and murder of its Aheral druids and shown him to the druid who where victim to the attacks. Though Rusk like all urukan are unpleasant, but he had his honor. He agreed to stop the attacks on the passing road, but not in the Colony.

    However with the Colony being in Oren, and not willing to go on a two pronged war against but the undead and Oren, the genocide in effect was stopped.”

     

    Earendur would take another break before continuing.

    [Lore] The Ancestors (Dark Elf Lore)

    Sounds like a cool idea, +1

     

    However there are some things that I think you should keep in mind when RPing this. 

    1) Orcish shamans /can/ summon Krug but at the cost of their own life which is why it is an rp no-no, the same is true with Malin if an elven shaman wished to contact him.

    2) But you can not contact Malin for another reason namely he is still alive, granted missing but still alive and thus not in the ancestral plane.

    3) Sharmans can not contact those who are not in the ancestral plane, namely deceased Druids, Clerics, Ascended, Undead ect. most aenguldeamons send their followers to their own plane and it turn not in the ancestral plane.

     

    That is the main feedback I have on this, And I hope it passes.

    Do you feel you have a solid grasp on our lore and an understanding of the standards we have for applications?
    I do, I feel that the AT has an important job of ensuring the quality of the server does not drop due to people joining the server who do not understand the experience we wish to provide. I am also aware that it is the AT's job to prevent Alting, I know this from when my little step-brother applied to the server, which I applaud the AT at the time for doing due diligence. I am also aware that the  quality for applications is of a high standard. Granted if the applicant does not answer perfectly on all the questions but does a good job at explaining who and how he wants to role play his character then it is a pass. though I will give a free huggle if they can answer all the questions perfectly.
     
    Why do you want to be an AT member and do you have the ability to work with others?
     I am applying to the AT because I think we as a community can do better and if I can help improve that than I should at least put forth an effort to do so. And I believe that as an AT member I can do that. And I very much can work with others both IC and OOC to make a better experience for them. The main piece of prove I have for this would be my time as druid guide. There I helped the dedicants out in IC and OOC and it is relient to the AT because most dedicants apply to the order within 48 hours of making their new character, which gives me experience in helping players who are new to their character and sometimes to the server in general.
     
    Do you recognize that you will be given extra responsibilities such as working on the LoTC wiki, assisting the AT in creating guides and helping new players with their questions upon logging into LoTC?
    I am fully aware that the AT's job is more than simply review applications as stated above, but to aid aid in to overall experience for new characters. So I am fine with adding important insight into a guide if it is needed. And I am fully available to help new characters in the help or wondering souls chats as well as PMs if needed.
     
    Is there anything else you would like to add?
     There is very little to say that I have not already said. only that it would be an honor to help the server though being a member of the AT, and I thank you for the consideration.

    A New Era - A New Name: Electoral Stage

    However some of the options on this list do not use proper elvish if I may I would lend may hand to ensure that your new land is not named with a false meaning.

     

    Laureh'lin -> Land of the chosen 
           This is correct but do note that this is hard to pronounce which is why that last city that was named that was called Laurelin
     
    Lin'laureh -> Chosen land
            This is correct was it literally means 'Land that has been Chosen'
     
    Laurelin -> Namesake of our ancestors
            This is correct but no note the first response
     
    Talar'aeth -> Aethers Horizon
            This is correct if you are referring to the aether as a metaphor, but if you are referring to Aeriel's realm then both words would be capitalized as: Talar'Aeth
     
    Berr'lin -> City of Bows
            City of Bows is Lin'berr as bow is the adjective if you want to say 'Bow of the City" then Berr'lin is correct
     
    Leyu'Fiyem -> Grace reborn
            This is a tricky one as 'Grace Reborn' is Leyufiyem but Leyu'fiyem is 'Grace that has been Reborn'. However if the you wish to say 'Rebirth of Grace' then Fiyem'leyu would be correct
     
    Lin'laurir -> Home of the Noble
            This is correct
     
    Meracahe'onn -> Born of Balance
             This is correct
     
    Okarn'lar -> Steadfast Oasis
            This is correct, but do note that it literally means 'Oasis that is Steadfast' if you want 'Steadfast Oasis' than drop the comma for Okarnlar
     
    Ante'andria -> Last hope

             This is an irregular word because Last (-ante), and next (-ento) are suffixs regardless of meaning. So the Correct word would be Andria'ante.
