    There is an issue with the cloister/niche mentality and in my personal judgement [from being ex-GM and such] is made worse when someone is not confident in his decision-making ability. You may say you won't be biased, but there is the concern that you'd be swayed by being supplied your arguments by your friends in this Academy [i'm guessing Raine?]. Since you don't seem to have good assertiveness, you'll fall back onto what your niche buddies say and use them to siphon the reasons for your moderator actions. I have never seen you actually converse with people outside your niche back when many players still used LotC's TS3 for example.

     

    PS: I'll elaborate on what I mean above in an example that I know best. If you've ever taken a US History class, you've heard of the Federalist Papers. All the Federalist Papers were in essence was a cheat-sheet so that people who backed Madison in the Conventions knew how to argue against Thomas Jefferson's side of the block. Think of it like that, you dont have the assertiveness so your friends will feed you your motives/arguments for your moderation decisions.

     

    You could literally use the same argument against someone from ANY guild, group or association, and besides, I'm not so sure you actually know Zer0 at all...

    I would like to try a death knight for the first time to provide myself and others with interesting and fun experiences, and to try something fresh.
     
    What can I bring to this group?

     

    I think I can bring plenty of activity (from myself) and a fairly interesting character (even for a dread knight) to the group, as well as some fun roleplay.
     
    Can you play nice, and be willing to sit down with someone and explain something politely and cooperatively if something goes wrong, or someone is confused? 

     

    I would like to think I can, and I certainly prefer to calmly explain errors or problems to the person rather than resorting to ban reports.

    - Kharajyr cannot produce offspring with other races, therefor it is impossible for your character to be a halfbreed of Kharajyr and anything else.

The start contains a lot of filling (you spent 4 sentences telling us something you could've worded as simply as "My parents were travelers who used to journey with their friends.") and you don't tell us much about your character's actual life. Please give us more details on your character growing up and what happened in his life to make him in to who he is today.
