  1. ((Wasn't Zibaen to be a Duke? Also is there a redone map of the regions I could see to fully understand who own's what?

(Yes, I am the Duke of far Western Renatus. I will attach a map of what the fiefs look like and who owns what.

    theprincedomsofrenatus.png

Westfall would go onto Zibaen Vivyaen

    Burning Seas onto Reynard Lycian

The Northern Vale onto Huron Silverblade and Arthur Python for their service in the Nether

    The Hold onto Nico Silverblade

    Crownlands onto King Godfrey

Mountain Sanctum and The Rift have not been given Dukes yet.

  2. [[Zweihanders were roughly six feet long, and were meant to combat pikes...if you could hold that with one hand then I applaud you. Zweihander also literally means "two hander"]]

(I think he may have been commenting on the redundancy of saying two handed "two hander."

I applaud you for this story Kai, twas well written and terrifying on the part of anyone friendly with you XD )

  3. Bandit's take Salvus' peaceful reputation as a sign for the city to be an easy target.

Salvus isn't like high advanced trained cities like Renatus or hanseti. There's more Farmers then Peacekeepers within the city it seems. My suggestion would probably be to recruit some people from outside to support the city.

(BTW doesn't Solace get "visits" from Tribe people?)

(I would like to see Salvus get rid of their Peacekeepers and adopt a system like the Venetians had. They have a foreigner lead their military forces so he won't be biased in his use of the soldiers, and also have foreign mercenaries guarding them. I think it'd add more depth to Salvus so there will be a larger disconnect between the citizenship and their military. If the mercenaries attack a nation they are fired or lose pay, that way Salvus can still call themselves peaceful as they themselves do not maintain a military force.)

  4. Why not come up with an epic event that will combine the clans into a lesser amount as firespirit said. To make is better have that event occur while PotatoOrgy is recording (more specifically if he starts making them into youtube videos). That way you can cut down on a great amount of the division while making it interesting, you'll get some advertisement in through youtube, and everyone will have a great time :D I've always thought the largest problem with the dwarves was the fact that many of the players act as if there are much more of them then there actually are. Having a dozen Houses/Clans works for the humans because of the sheer size of the player base, but it does not seem to work as well for the dwarves with their very limited player base.

  5. Lucion writes another note on the bottem of the page. This one seems rushed and scribbled.

Very well, Mr Timothee. I'm sure your research will benefit mine greatly.

((I have no idea what timezone MST is, but if I see you on around the same time, I'll /tell you. :) ))

((It is an hour off of EST. I believe that MST is GMT -6))

  6. Fear is a more powerful motivator in terms of real power, but fear does not rule in Asulon. It is a game so there is no fear of pain or torment only a temporary death with percentile repercussions. So in that case characters can do whatever without fear of dying so they can, if they feel they are being mistreated by their government, rise up without fearing being caught and executed and overthrow their leaders. The reason leaders rule with the idea "love is a powerful motivator" is because it is the only motivator we have in the game. We all know the only way to stay in power on this server is to seem just and kind and benevolent and for the people. Not saying there are no exceptions to this, but it is the overwhelming majority. If we can figure out how to get the players to consider death as an immensely bad thing even if it is not perma death (would require everyone to be good roleplayers :( ) then we could actually work something out, and even in that case the player who is executed is not dead and can therefore decide to start a revolt against their leader.

  7. I think what they mean is that their characters do not understand the concept of nations. They are primitive tribals who have been consistently attacked and want revenge. They think someone from the numerous cities they see has been attacking them and they want to attack back and set an example. Solace and Arethor are too strong to attack so they chose Seventis. It is an attack organized by primitive people who I assume only have a more basic understanding of communities.

  8. ((Some villians have bent the rules again by returning multiple times, but Zezimus and some of the Peace Keepers kept killing them. The GMs are watching the situation now as well and we are back to screen shotting everything like we had to do before.

The posts like this is just Renatus doing their propaganda thing again. The fake "Salvus Reborn account has been banned too. Nothing we have not seen before from them.))

((Except Erlend is a part of the KL who do not like Renatus and have plotted rebellions against it.))

  9. Zibaen reads the letter with exhausted eyes. And thinks to himself,

"That bastard beat me to it!"

With a sad nod Zibaen hobbles away from the message board one struggled step after another with the assistance of his cane. The young are slowly recycling out the old at last. After several paces he stops and declares outloud,

"When the hell did I become older than Boiendl?" With that he limped his 81 year old self away from that message board almost as fast as a snail.

  10. *offers up the suggestion that structures not be built with a fatal death-trap being the foundation upon which they build up from* *glaring look at the gatehouse*

((can't help but notice this is the first thing you did with Galahar too, install gatehouse, install deadly trap in gatehouse))

((Well I can offer up the tidbit of knowledge that the gatehouse there will be turned into a regular wall soon I believe.))

  11. *Kashi looks almost blankly at the new King for a while*

"It seems we change King every few years... Eze'Kiel did all that he could for our nation, and demonstrated his wisdom right up until the end oh his reign.."

*He then turns a little and smiles*

"That said, I have full confidence in Reynard, and I am sure he will lead the Empire to glory no matter what may stand in his way. I stand by him no matter what."

((Eze'kiel was King for 22 years XD that is a long time!))

  12. Are you the person who built the theatre on the little island in the noble district? If so, I think that'll have to be removed soon, since that is the noble district and will probably be used for a noble house []

(No, he is allowed to build it there.)
