It's very fun RP. I've thought about making other characters, but just can't stray from the Halflings!

I like to play Minecraft, and Roleplay is always not far behind. I’m easy to talk, and get along with. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Weekly? Well, during the summer, almost every waking moment of my day. During school, almost every waking hour after school lets out. So, 3 hours average school day, 6-8 hour weekend, 9+ hours during summer. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is taking the form of another person, to walk a mile in their shoes. What it means to me? Having a fun time as a swashbuckling pirate, or a depressed old man. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I helped build a small(ish) Roleplay server. I have joined several others, and have “sharpened my sword” in Roleplaying. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is having OOC information, and using that IC. An example would be telling a friend where I’m being attacked, without having him near me or tell him in any way as my character. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is: Power-Emoting, I think, is when you control the situation completely, and you don’t give the other person any chance to respond. In your own Words, define what Out of Character (OOC) is: Out of character is the real world, when I’m not my character. Out of Character is used for chatting, and shouldn’t be intertwined with In Character. In your own Words, define what In Character (IC) is: In Character is when I’m Roleplaying as my character, and should only be used for Roleplaying. Again, OOC and IC should not mix. What do you expect this server will be like?: I logged in as a Lost Soul, and I was pretty blown away. People were friendly and helped me, which was, to say the least, very helpful. I expect it to be the best Roleplaying server in Minecraft, and the most mature as well. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I played on Buxville, a non-RP server, because I got tired of it. I have also played on several small server which died. I’d see you guys on it, and I decided to check the server out one day. So here I am! Have you previously made an Application? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) : Human What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Halfling Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Gobbs was born a rather small Halfling. Small and not quite muscular, but far from scrawny, Gobbs was always able to get himself into mischief. He is able to fit where some of the bulkier Halflings cannot, and because of this, always has a hiding spot. Throughout all his running, Gobbs noticed that he could run for hours and not tire! He loves to brag, and will run day in and day out to get a pitcher of mead! Gobbs loves the sweet taste of mead, like all Halflings do. Gobbs, however, doesn’t want to go through the trouble to get it himself. Because he could run away and hide all throughout his childhood, he still does this today. The same goes with confrontation. Gobbs is mischievous, but not at all evil. He is a very sweet, compassionate man who hates physical confrontation. At the ripe age of 23, Gobbs is 3’1”, with a slender frame and little muscles. He is quick and agile, but is little help in a fight. His wardrobe consists of a green and brown tunic, with pants to match. He has dirt blonde hair, with emerald eyes. What are your Character's ambitions?: He is open to anything, but is quick, perhaps a messenger, or a blacksmiths apprentice. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): His favorite tool? His legs! Not much of a fighting man, a hoe is always close at hand. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Farming, like most Halflings. Gobbs would like to branch out, as he can always “borrow” a glass of mead. Blacksmithery sounds like a good trait; Gobbs just needs the muscles! Open-Response-Questions Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP. Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? A Halfling? One of my own kind! Someone must do something… just not me. I must run, and tell an elder, or perhaps a bully looking to beat on someone. As I run as fast I can, I trip, and stumble. A bow is on the ground! Oh, and it has some arrows! Hmmm… how do you load this thi- No! I never meant to shoot him! Well, he will be deeply missed. Ah, ehm… I’ll just place this back and… *Gobbs runs away, never to speak about the killing of his own* Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? I’m always wearing through leather boots, if he has one I’d love to buy… or perhaps borrow… a pair. *Gobbs speaks to the merchant, only to be told that the boots are the finest in the land, and is blown away at how much they cost. Gobbs walks away, only to return moments later, and tries taking the boots. While sneaking behind the merchants stall, he sees how horrible the boots are. Gobbs is disgusted at how the man tried cheating him, even though Gobbs was just about to steal the boots.* People dhese days, ‘lways cheatin’ us ‘alflings. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: “N’one lives here? It must be left ‘ere for a reason! Maybe fate left ‘em ‘ere for me! Maybe it wants me to become a great warrior! Or maybe a blacksmith… or maybe for a few cups of ale!” Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I wonder if they have some apples… or maybe a glass of ale. I am pretty hungry. “Do you gents have any food, or some ale? Is this close to the Vale? I’m lost, and hungry. I have a few Minas… would that get me directions?” I know! I’ll buy directions, and borrow a sandwich! They wouldn’t mind, one fellow is draped in the finest cloths! You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: A reward? Maybe if I get a big, nasty dwarf I can promise him a precious gem for helping me. Even if he does a good job, I’m taking the loot and not giving him any. But he doesn’t need to know that. Anything else you would like to say?: Yes, I’d like to tell you guys I’m super excited, and can’t wait to join. In my application, I’m mischievous in a few situations. I’ll hold off on those in the game until I’m allowed to become a rank one villain, for minor pickpocketing. I don’t want my guy to be evil, just a clever little thief! No I haven't submitted an application yet. I have one filled out, except my name and biography. I didn't know if the adoptee's would want to name me, or if we would want to work out any details.

Hi guys, i'm Gonan. This is my first post, and I'm looking for parents to adopt my child character. I am new to the server, and this is my first character. What I had in mind was that the child is found in a field, and you find him. The race I had in mind was halfling, because I figured that Goblins and Halflings were about the same size. It would also go good in Roleplay, if the whole town of Halflings adopted him and taught him their ways. Post here or send me a PM if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks, and have a good one!
