  1. I actually think the hunger games idea is amazing. Also, it suits minecraft perfectly as long as people aren't allowed to dig underground (no hidden forts), AND there is now a hunger bar which again makes it realistic: you have to sustain yourself to remain competetive. As I don't think it was explained very well earlier, I'll try and summarise the hunger games. Essentially, two volunteers are picked from each district (nation in LOTC), one boy and one girl (although this could be changed due to the overpowering boy to girl ratio), and are pitted against each other in a huge arena. The goal is to be the last survivor, naturally by killing other people. Once the game starts, there is a huge stack of loot near the entrance where you can either try your luck for a huge advantage in gear, or if you don't think you can survive the brawl that inevitably kicks off around this loot, you can run off and try to survive without it. On top of everyone else in the arena trying to kill you, the gamemasters- unbiased referees who can change the rules at any time- may decide to make the game more 'interesting' for the audience by adding dangers to the environment, such as hordes of raging monsters.
  2. I have recently been trying to find one of the aforementioned princes in order to buy a home and get a job as a farmer, with little luck. Would anyone happen to know where they can be found and when? ((-EDIT-)) I have already come to Elandriel, and have been residing in an inn for the past few days.
  3. dude are you still alive/ and would you liek to join the new kal'sharock in aegis 2.0?

  4. Pinsir, if they did sign you up you would have to take your name of the Lowencaster charter, as you are only allowed to be on one at a time. That was why I had to remove my name.
  5. Sorry to say it, but I would like my name to be removed from the charter. Not due to any fault of this town, but I just found another I prefered. I hope the town gets made though.
  6. Same questions as Nikias. Also, I would like to meet you in game at some point, what time and timezone are you usually online?
  7. So, what time shall we meet up? I am unavailable from about 12:00 to 3:30 GMT, bit the rest of the day I'm free.
  8. YOUR JOINING THE BATTLEMAGES!

  9. This is written very well, +1 internets for you. What I think would be cool is if the blood witches also had 'manslaves'; men seduced by magic and beauty to serve the witches. EDIT: Sorry! Didn't realise how old this was. -1 internets for me
  10. MC name: ChaChaPanda IC name: R'haego Lunare Have you met all the requirments? (I will be checking this): My swords is level 52, I can read, but have not done this Mage course thing you speak of. If it is required, could someone explain what it is? What is your rp for joining the Battle Mages?: My name is R'haego. I am a wanderer, a fighter, and a hunter. I have spent many years battling the forces of the shadows, and have seen how helpless out cause is. No matter how hard we fight, no matter how much we sacrifice, we always need something more. I believe this is it. After searching long and hard for answers, I have concluded mortal means are not enough to defeat the dark of Aegis. We need magic. I will do whatever it takes to learn these ancient arts, in order to find something, anything, that may help me rid the world of those who feed on anxiety and despair. I beg you master, help me fulfill my task, and I will dedicate to the Battle Mages my life. Do you have any magical rp history?: No, my character has never before tried the arcane arts. If you are a villian, how do you plan to keep us from knowing or keeping that life seperate from the Battle Mages?: I am not a villain. If you are applying for being the Scholar or the Apothecary, explain how you would be qualified to do this?: I am not applying for these positions, unless I am specifically asked to.
  11. This looks like a nice little town for me to finally settle down in. I'll sign the charter, and I'll move in as soon as it's built (if that's ok). EDIT: Also, I have two friends joining the server soon. I know we planned on living together anyway, so if two of us agree to be homosexual, we have a family :3 (or we could just be friends...)
  12. What time shall we meet? I am in the GMT timezone and should be free for most of tomorrow.
  13. This does seem interesting... Although you would need to have scheduled times when most if not all of the group will be on regularly for it to work. If these times happen to coincide with 4:30pm-6:30pm GMT, I'll fill in an app. Just so you know, I'm a dark elf swordsman with farming proficiency as well.
  14. MC NAME: ChaChaPanda RP NAME: R'haego Lunare BIO:R’haego was no different from any other dark elf. Unlike what some believe, they were a peaceful people, content to leave the world be. Living in a small, secluded grove deep in a moon-kissed forest, he grew up as a simple farmer, working the land by day, praying to the moon at night. He lived only with his father and mother, and their home well hidden, so in his early years he knew little of the outside world. Shortly after he reached adulthood, his parents passed away naturally, and he was left to fend for himself. He mourned for a short while, but he was sure the moon would care for them. He had never thought of leaving his small, solidarity life, but then something happened that shook his whole world. R’haego awoke to the sound of burning, and harsh, cackling laughter. Smoke clotted his nose, and he rolled out of bed, coughing. He lay on the floor for a second, then crouched low and made his way to the door to see what was going on. Just as he was about to open it, an impulse drove him to double back and grab his father’s bow which he had preserved since he had passed away. Whatever was out there, they didn’t sound peaceful. As he left the hut, his eyes were assailed by a scene the likes of he had never seen. Ancient trees lay felled across the forest floor, dead timber littered the ground like confetti and a devilish red light lit the forest. Then, in the corner of his eye, he saw them. Black cloaked figures with unseen faces that seemed to fade into smoke when you looked straight at them, leisurely strolling down the game trail that led to R’haego’s grove. Trails of fire and destruction lay in their wake, even as he watched one turned around and blasted the foliage with pure fire. The others laughed, a vicious sound that hurt R’haego’s ears. Suddenly, the shadows fell silent. A new creature appeared, moving slowly towards the log R’haego was hiding behind. The others cowered to the side of the path, apparently struck by fear. It did not have a form; or rather it was so terrible that it could not be comprehended. It seemed to suck the colour out of the vibrant forest as it passed, leaving a grey husk. Despite never having used a bow in his life, R'haego knew what would happen if he let the beast get to close, and he knew what he must do. Drawing the bow silently, he nocked an arrow and prepared to leap up and take a shot, as he had seen his father do a thousand times. Mentally lining up the shot he would have to make, he bunched his legs, jumped upwards and released. The shot flew past the beast, missing by metres. Slowly, the monster turned to R'haego. The only part if it that looked recognisable as part of living thing was the eyes, those terrible dark red eyes, eyes that killed and burnt. R’haego felt a fear like none other. Forgetting his home, he dropped the bow and ran. Over the next years, R’haego moved from town to town, trying to find somewhere to fit in. Unable to start up a new farm, he took odd jobs, such as guarding and even mining. When travelling, tormented by nightmares of the beast, he decided that he would not, could not bear to be helpless again. He tried to use a bow, but was unable to make himself fire a single shot. Every time, he would see in his mind’s eye, that miss that had cost his old life. So, he took up the sword. Training every night, he found ways to make up for his inherent weak strength that caused most elves to avoid swordplay and became a considerable force with a blade. This was how he continued, training, working and fighting, until he found the cloud temple of Aegis. After years travelling, R'haego had found a place to start anew. Over the years, he would feel the hurt of losing his home less, but he trained with his sword every night, lest the beasts again. He would be ready. Since then, R'haego has done much, but achieved little. Spending what little money he had to feed himself, R'haego never made enough to buy a home, or gather any substantial wealth. Although he has not been able to ply his living as a farmer, R'haego has been forced to hunt for a living, which has improved his skills at the blade. However, he feels the call of the land and wants to settle down in a community he can value, and that will value him. What skills can you offer?: I excel at farming and swordsmanship, and should the need arise, I can build. Do you think your good at Rp?: Role-playing is something I take pride in, and I would like to think I am fairly good. Do you agree to our rules?: Yes, I have. Have you ever been banned? If so what for? No, I've never been banned. One question, what time are The Frosty Furies normally online? I am usually on from 4:30-8:00pm GMT, how does this compare to other members? EDIT: Wow, sorry for such a long bio, didn't even realise!
