Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a friendly, fun loving individual who is always up for a laugh and, when playing games like minecraft, an adventure. I am hard working and willing with a great sense of fair play and I prefer when games are played with everyone following the rules. How much time could you be on the server weekly: I am on about 6-7 hours a day during holidays, so 49-50 hours a week, and 4-5 hours during a normal school/working day, so 34-35 hours a week. What do you know about role playing? Give a definition of what it means to you: Role playing is where you dive into the world of someone new or someone old and pretend to be them leaving your real life behind as you start to become this different person. You live their life and go about doing the actions and quests of this new live as if it was your own. In your own words describe what metagaming and powergaming are:Metagaming: This is whereby a player has an understanding of the game that allows him/her to have an advantage over their game and the other players. E.g. if a person is in a game where they need to buy a super sword but have never been to a place where they can get such a sword in-game and yet they know exactly where they are going as they looked it up on a wiki/YouTube/asked a friend etc. This gives a person the ability to get a better advantage over the other characters/players in the game that play the game and quests normally and gain knowledge of the game as the adventure on. Powergaming: This is were you make your character out to be the best at everything and better then everyone in the game. So if the game was all about killing the other players you would make your character out to be the most powerful character in that game who wins all the battles and kills everyone. What do you expect this server will be like? : I expect this server to be an excellent adventure as I have heard it is very good and I like the fact that you put a lot of work into the map of the server. I expect the server to be fun and exciting with lots of things to do and new people to meet and play with. What other servers have you played on and why did you leave them?: Citycraft, I left because the Admins were very poor and inactive and therefore the server was not run very well and the people were very unpleasant. Madgaming I am currently a semi admin on this server and have not left it. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes I have and I fully agree. How did you hear about us?: My friend TrooperMatthew and your admin Tythus . Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you? Yes twice and I was 1,111 on the second vote. What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: Lar Azaghal In-Character: Character Name: Lar Azaghal What is your Race?: Dwarf Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): The family Azaghal has a long and proud history...that is until the split over an Elven lover. While one half of the family were exiled to outside the Hold the other remained and lived life as normal as they could. This included young Lar a talented farmer of his local hold and a natural grudge holder but not a WISE grudge holder. So it is no surpise that althoguh he holds the grudge of his great grandfather he hasnt actually ever met the exiled members of the family nor should he have any reason to dislike them but thanks to his father he does. Although a little headstrong he is one of the wiser members of the family and hasnt dived into any battles or even raised an axe unlike some of his brother and sisters. Instead he has focused his talents more towards that of farming and agriculture. A skill that is apprecicated in the dark halls of the dwarves where food doesnt grow naturally and is the number one priority in a siege. He has recently heard of rumors of his missing family line and their journey to return to the holds and intends to rather put a stop to it or at least make the journey as difficult as possible for them! This will be in fact the little dwarf’s first real adventure and he will soon find out that skills with a hoe and plough mean little in the dark forests and empty roads of Aegis! Luckily some of his brothers have chosen to take up the quest with him and whatever the outcome it’s not going to look good in the history journals of the family Azaghal! The brothers set out on their quest unique and different to each other in so many ways. Lar’s darker twin, aching for combat and to finally put right the name of Azaghal, walks along side him on his first journey away from the hold. His twin has been in many battles and is ready to get his axe red once again! Lar is ready to finally prove himself to the hold that he is not just a useful farmer but also a blood thirsty dwarf like the rest. He has left his hoe and crops behind him for now and has taken his axe ready for anything that may come his way, and hoping that they might run into a lost elf or two along the way. Not knowing what their other side of the family is like they are excited and some what worried about what they may find at the end of their quest. Your characters ambitions: I am a small time farmer working the land left to me by my grandfather. It is a hard life for a dwarf as sometimes the crops can grow twice my size! We have lost many great men in the field. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? I will try to ignore the stupid tall fool and hide from the scene behind my huge crops but in the end I believe my lust for combat will take over and I’ll have to help the elf, maybe giving him a few whacks at the same time, the dirty bugger. Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? Ye I was just wondering how you are still here seen as your city isn’t? Must be hard working in a shop with no walls or roof. Pretty silly thing you’ve got going on here you must be part elf or something.
