“A Lost Child” Several parchments of paper fly by you as you walk upon Seventis land, they appear to be neatly written and structured to be pleasing to the eye. The ink is neat, and it appears that there is a slight wear in the paper, almost as if the paper had withstood a treacherous storm. As you pick up the parchment, you begin to read: “Hello. My name is Trivane Amedaius. I am approximately seventeen years of age. I am the lost child of Renati Amedaius, the current reigning King of Seventis. I do not remember my early childhood; My mother described it in vague detail. She told me that I was born around the time of Azar, a quaint town that would later be known as Ascella. I learned how to read and write from a band of monks who tended to my daily needs, feeding me my rations and giving me food and drink. I have only walked upon the lands of Asulon for a short time, but I have acquired a vast knowledge of its' people and I am determined to help Seventis become a flourishing and expansive land, free of the evils that plague Asulon and welcome to vagabonds of all races. You see, I have came here, to meet my father. I have never seen his face, never heard his voice, and I have never touched his skin. I seek to locate my father to find my place in this world.” At the end of the parchment, a small ribbon is attached to the bottom, hanging freely. The ribbon is a bright red lapel.

How would he react? - Your Biography is Very Strange, Lacks Effort and Does Not correspond to the lore. You mention zombies, creepers and other monsters as your main antagonists. Creepers don't exist in Asulon. Your biography also does not contain any of our lore (No existing cities or kingdoms are mentioned and are not related to your character whatsoever.) Try to read up on the lore and incorporate some of it in your Biography.

Your application was denied for: - Your Application has a Weird Format I'm not denying you for this, however try to fix your formatting on your application next time, as it is kind of hard to read as everything is blue. - Your character cannot be skilled at Magic right away. In order to become a skilled, well-rounded mage, you must learn from a GM-Approved mage or be part of the mage guild. Also, you must know how to properly roleplay a mage, some of that might be-- 1.) Mages when they cast spells have a certain repercussion when they cast a specific spell, or else they once again are powergaming. 2.) Mages take months to learn their abilities 3.) The problem we experience with most new characters trying to be a mage is that they powergame or perhaps they overpower their character, creating unfair roleplay for others. 4.) Combat Magic is very hard to be taught, as most new mages these days start off being healers. I'd suggest having your character being something else then a mage-- You could write in your biography or character's ambitions that your character is an aspiring mage and wishes to learn magic, but they cannot be a mage right off the bat. - Your Open Response Questions lack Detail and Effort. Some of your ORQ's (Seen below) only have about one sentence or more. Try to expand these, and show us what your character does in the predefined scenarios, how he would react, -- have fun with it, experiment with your character and try to show his personality thru your responses. - Your Biography needs work and is very strange. I had a hard time following your biography. Below I have responded to some of the occurrences or events that you described in it. If you're trying to be a mage, there is no way your character would learn it this way. This is a slight hint that your character is some 'all-powerful' mage, which is not going to happen. This the classic unoriginal story of your parents being killed by bandits, please make it more original -- be creative and incorporate concepts that reflect your character's abilities and personality. Your character's personality would not be strong, or fearless. It seems almost as if your biography were a Cinderella story of unheard of powerful qualities. Your character can not be an all-powerful mage who destroys everything in his path and kills his enemy with one swipe of a blade. I am not convinced that you thoroughly know what Metagaming is. It also doesn't even make sense. You're allowed to call someone by their name while roleplaying. I'd suggest you take a read on the lore to get an understanding of what Asulon is, how we got here and some of the settlements that exist in Asulon. - Your Open Response Questions Lack Effort and Detail. They could use much more detail and more effort then just being one sentence responses, I suggest that you make up something creative in regards to your character and allow these responses to further develop your character's ambitions, personality and motives.
