Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: Well, I am a german student, who is, at the moment, very interested in playing rolegames. I do not have much pressure with my exams so I have a lot of time to spend in playing. About my hobbies.. yeah I do collect and play with Lord of the Rings tabletop figures, what makes this server a perfect coice for me cause I am a huge LotR fan. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I think I will be online for at least 3-4 hours a day, which makes about 25 hours a week. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: I did played some Roleplaygames before. I like this genre because it lets you switch your life. You can get in a total different role than you are in real-life. Roleplaying means for me diving deep in a new world and having fun with the new live you are given. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is a way to cheat the Rp by using knowledge unknown by my character. In a radical way: You force a character to give you something, threaten to harm him in real life, if you have the information about him(name etc). Powergaming is acting like your character has abbilites, which he does not have. For an example: You are an simply fearful farmer. On the way to the next city a horde of bandits attack you. Normally you would be scared and give them all your money. Powergaming is when you run fearless into combat, what does not fit your role. Another example: You are a normal human who is beeing hit by a sword. The player with the sword says: "Yeah you are dead." You answer: "No I am not. My skin is out aus steel and cant be harmed by such a little sword." Another way of powergaming: focus more on skilling instead of roleplaying, espacially on skills which are not typical for your charakter. What do you expect this server will be like?: I hope there are lots of friendly people on this server, which are as much interested in LotR and in playing their role as me. What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: Superwutz In-Character: Character Name: Tungdal Rockcrash What is your Race?: Dwarf Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Tungdal Rockcrash Tungdal was born about 100 years ago in Khwarzarf, a small dwarvish outpost in the mountains. His father Farwlin Rockcrash was an old vetaren, who has been heavily wounded in action. Now he and his family serves in the small, nearly forgotten outpost. While Tungdal growth up, he was getting trained and trained very hard by his father, in hope to be - once the time comes- an ironbreaker just like Farwlin was. In his childhood he was often send to the next dwarvish city,to rapport about the situation in the mountain borderlands. Tungdal never got familiar with the dwarvish caves. He was born at the surface and never thougt about living under the ground. Within 40 years Tungdal became a passable dwarvish warrior, now abled to get in service as a guardsman in Khwarzarf. At the age of 54 he made it up the rankladder and became the major guardsman in the outpost, acting now as the right hand of his father. His comrades found in Tungdal a got leader during the skirmishes with bandits, who are attacking the borderlands sometimes. Tungdal now felt ready to leave his father and Khwarzaf behind, trying to apply at the royal dwarven army. Just 5 days before he wanted to start his journey to Kal´Urguan a huge horde of orcish marauders attacked the outpost. Tungdal and his men fought well defending the women and children living in Khwarzaf but suddenly he took a hit on his head, knocking him out for a while. When he was awake he found himself surrounded by the bodies of his family and his comrades. The little outpost where he lived his whole live was destroyed. In impotent anger he slaughtered a wounded orc, who was not able to move anymore and left back by his comrades. Then Tungdal left the mountains. The next 40 years Tungdal wandered around in the wilderness, always proving his fighting skills. If he finds a band of bandits or a lonely thief, trying to rub him, Tungdal lets out his anger, killing every outlaw, without mercy. In all those years Tungdal did not found very much good friends and most of those he found, died in the followering years. And today the time may come, Tungdal is going to calm down finally, ready to join a dwarven clan and to fight for the dwarvish glory. Tungdal Rockcrash is a jung but relatively tall dwarf. He got strong arms and legs, caused by his hard life in the wilderness. Over the years his anger made him grimmy and bitter. But once he is in good company, which earns his trust, he is going to be a loyal and friendly comrade. Your characters ambitions: Tungdal is searching for someone who also survived the massacre at the outpost or for someone who knwos him from his childhood. He is a dwarvish patriot. Once he is skilled enought in combat, he will join the army. The only thing Tungdal learned in his life was fighting and he is a pretty god fighter, what does not mean that he will not accept a new master, who helps him improving his skills. This dwarf is not very skilled in mining, brewing, cooling or building. But, if needed, he will also learn something about that. Tungdal choosed years ago the way of the warrior and this is what he wants and lives. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Tungdal will shout bloodcurdling and will run in rage into the first bandit, ripping him down. After he is finished with the first one, the second one will become scared and try to run away. But Tungdal is mercyless and will, at least cut off one of the bandits hands. That is how to requite murder and robbery in his mind. When the elf is trying to thank him, Tungdal will just simply nod to him and leave. Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? Tungdal will just grimmy look at the salesman, greeting him with a simple "Mornin". After a minute he will say: "Companion, I need a new Whetstone for my axe. You can also bring up some beer. " After he got his whetstone Tungdal will ask for the price:"How much do ya want for this? And dont try to cheat me. It would be the last thing you do!" When he got his deal done, he will quickly leave without any more useless conversation. A screenshot of your skin: The skin is still WiP.
