Yer name: Valbir Irongut (minecraft name): CakeBeforeTime Age: 307 Race: Dwarf Profession: Miner Highest skill level/what skill: 63 Mining Relation to the family, (story): Valbir is the son of Grabthar Irongut, the best digger in Aegis. Valbir had only found out about how important this Noble family was when his father had left a note before he was gone telling Valbir that he must not only become the greatest miner in Aegis, but to find his brothers in Kal'Urguan. After reading about the Ironguts, he gained more knowledge of their past and began to look for them. The search for the Ironguts was stalled when Aegis fell and the citizens had to flee to Asulon. Eventually, Valbir moved into Kal'Dwain where he found many other Ironguts and has spent alot of time with them since. ((This would probably be more detailed if there was a family tree or something, but hopefully it still works.))

Give a definition of what it means to you.: Roleplaying in gaming is something very different from other ways of playing. You develop your created character with others in a land where most things that happen are spontaneous and makes it a really great experience if you obey the rules. Roleplaying is a calm, slow paced gametype where you don't NEED a weapon or any sort of upgrade. You can just go at your own pace, meet new people and have an overall great experience. There are however some boundaries, within roleplay you are a character and you have different thoughts than yourself creating a great atmosphere when talking to people and an overall superb and different way of gaming. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is when you use OOC information in character and it may change the outcome of your character's development. Powergaming is when you make a move without giving the other character a chance to retaliate or flee. What do you expect this server will be like?: A very well organised roleplaying experience which lives up to it's name as the #1 Minecraft Roleplaying Server. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I play on a private build server with 5 friends and a public SMP server which I occasionally log on to. Which vote number were you? 2,884 What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: Hipstersaurus In-Character: Character Name: Valbir What is your Race?: Dwarf Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Valbir is a 139 year old Dwarf. His mother died during childbirth, so he was brought up by his father. Valbir is a muscular Dwarf who's dark hair matches his eyes. When Valbir was young, he was inspired by his father's skills with the Pickaxe when mining. He spent most of his younger years in the Mines with his father and eventually became an extremely talented miner. At this point he knew what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. However, one day when Valbir was mining with the other Dwarves, Orcs raided the Mine and killed his father. Valbir's father taught him everything he knew and now Valbir must use this knowledge to avenge his father and earn the respect he undoubtedly deserves. Valbir was evacuated from the Mine and it was never used again. He left the small village he was brought to by the older Dwarves and used all the skills his father taught him and managed to survive in the wilderness for 6 months until we are at present day. He is en route to avenging his father and becoming the greatest Miner in Asulon. Your characters ambitions: To become the greatest Miner and avenge his father. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? He would shout to the bandits "Halt, or you will live no more, you filthy bandits." and unsheaths his Axe. If they don't flee, then Valbir would shout to the Elf "Elf, we're not great companions but we must get rid of this scum." and attack the bandits. After the bandits plead to let them go, Valbir would tell them to never come back, or they shalt be killed. The bandits would get away injured and Valbir would say to the elf "Well met, my friend. Now ye must stay safe in these wilds." Valbir would then disappear into the wilds. Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? He would say "Hello there friend, I was interested in what you are selling today." Valbir would then exchange gold for food and talk to the shop owner about the recent rumours before returning home.
