Personally, iMattyz' devotion and time spent bettering the server is completely irrelevant to this ban. No player on Lord of the Craft deserves a ban at all for this "offence", let alone a year long one. I would stand up and defend any player who fell victim to such a trumped up and ridiculous ban, regardless of what community they roleplay or pvp within. The whole community should come together here in solidarity and take a stand against what can only view as injustice.

I just returned from a two-month holiday to the UK where I had very limited computer access and now I’m back in Australia with more free time than I know what to do with. I enjoyed being a GM back in February and I’d like to help out and complete tickets again - and just contribute in general.

His outstanding work rate and dedication is unmistakable - and if allowed to channel this to the GM team I believe he would be an incredible asset to the server. I was made an FM in early September and I’ve been an FM Manager since the end of October.

Why do you want to join the GM Team?:

I first found my way to LOTC after the old roleplay servers I used to play on inevitably dried up and fell by the wayside. I very quickly fell in love and since then this server and its community have always held a special place in my heart. However, due to commitments to things like school, I was rarely able to get properly stuck into the server. Still wanting to contribute to the server, I joined the FM team in the last few months of my senior year as a way to plug my LotC addiction and pass the time until I would be able to play again.

Since then I have graduated and have finally been able to get involved with the server and its community. I now have free time in abundance and the initiative I previously had for my studies has been transferred to LotC. To put it simply I want to help out and give back to the server, while hopefully making a difference as I do so. Being a GM is obviously the best way to accomplish this and so I believe my work ethic would be best employed in game rather than on the forums.

Dogbew is a great director and I do not doubt he would be an even better GM. He is dedicated, calm, levelheaded and is always looking for potential things to be improved. +1 he deserves a chance to show what he can do.

A whole month is an awfully long time to restrict conflict. Rivalry and competition between groups, and the roleplay it creates, is a large part of the server and is what entices many players to log in. To have this completely regulated at the start of the map is simply limiting what roleplay can occur on the server. What's the explanation for groups and nations that were previously at odds being now unable to have any confrontation on a large scale for over four ingame years? Also, is there no possibility of reusing the old raid/warclaim rules until a decision is made?

What was the process for the decision to add enderpearls into the map? We finally got free of grappling hooks and now we must face a whole other no-RP OOC raiding tool that isn't really explainable in roleplay. Are we allowed to use them in roleplay? If so, it opens the potential for even more issues like being able to get out of virtually any roleplay situation through emoting throwing an enderpearl.

Professional, active and competent. I believe Sky would be a good addition to the GM team.
