I would argue that nexus crafting is a big part of combat. A lot of nexus revolves around combat gear or producing the crafting ingredients for said gear. It's definitely a relevant point in the combat discussion.

This is a great post. I don't understand how people can play these morally superior and faultlessly immaculate characters in a universe like LotC. It would be like role-playing as a piece of blank paper.

ET, please schedule these events for the weekend so the wider community can attend. It's good you have listened to previous feedback and made a forum post in advance, but once again the timing is bizarre. The event might be good, but I don't think it's waking up at 6am on a school day good. Furthermore, GMT+x  players are somewhat excluded due to it starting well into the night. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE schedule them for the weekend so non-americans can have a chance to enjoy the event, even if we arent the main playerbase for the server it would be nice to be able to attend these world-events. We're slowly making progress.

Moderating the forums is a very time dependant staff position. How much time, on average, would you be able to dedicate to moderating?: I have the forums open constantly while I am at my computer. Therefore, I can be actively moderating whenever I am not studying or working on school assignments. Furthermore, I can access the forums from my phone whenever and wherever.

What experience do you have using the LotC forums or any forum in general?: I’ve been using (mostly browsing) the forums for years at this point. I know my way around well, except for the moderation tools. However, I can pick things up fast enough.

What does it mean to be a Forum Moderator, in your own words? What responsibilities does the Forum Moderator have to carry out  in order to successfully do their job?: Preventing posts from straying too far off topic, removing unsavoury content and preventing banter from becoming toxic. Also involves archiving old threads and such.

Why should you be a Forum Moderator? What can you bring forward to the team that allows you to moderate and enforce the conduct of the forums?: I’m Australian which means I can monitor the forums at those rare hours where not even @mitto or @Lord Sagan are standing guard.

What characteristics do you posses that makes you stand out from any other applicant?: My timezone, my ability to work in a team and my love for the server. Mainly my timezone.

Are there members of the current Forum Moderation Team that you do not get along with or see a problem with working with in the future? If so, what is it that could hinder your ability to work together. Remember, this is a team and working together is the main foundation of a team.: The only member of the team I’ve ever talked with is rukio13. I doubt any of the other members have any clue as to who I am.

How long do you plan to stay on the team?: For as long as I’m wanted. However, if being a staff member has any effect on my schooling I’ll have to step down and reapply when I graduate which is in no time at all.
