I am of 104 seasons of age and I stand 5 ft 6 in. My skin is pale despite my strong physique as I spent most of my days hunting under the shade of forests. I am skilled with a bow, although my swordsmanship is great as I spent my childhood as a squire to a knight before leaving to live my own life in the forest. I have never liked the action of that life, preferring to stay hidden unless action is needed. I wear mottled yellow robes as a sign that I am a part of the great clan of Korujas. My hair is black and I have calm brown eyes. I started off my days in Asulon as a hunter in the forests. Using my bow, I hunted down wild cows, pigs and chickens and sold the meat to vendors usually in Hanseti, although occasionally to Alras as well for better prices if need be. Although there was the occasional trader or wanderer, the only real company I had in the forest was my pet wolf Filo. When not hunting, I often carved out small figures of creatures out of stone and wood. I was at peace and happy with what I was doing. However, all this changed in one night. I woke up to the sound of footsteps when I looked up, I saw a massive orc looming over my head with a battleaxe poised to strike. I barely managed to roll off my bed before slammed his axe down in a deadly strike. Dazed, I unsheathed my hunting knife and threw it, but it just bounced off his armor harmlessly. Then, a hooded figure stepped out of the shadows with a strung bow. I closed my eyes, knowing I was helpless without my own bow or sword. I heard footsteps and then a yell of pain. It was Filo! He tore at the man’s face, biting and clawing savagely like the undead. I then watched in horror and disbelief as the orc decapitated Filo. “NOOOOO!” I screamed in agony. In that moment, I swear I was possessed by one of the Undead. The last thing I remember seeing was the bandits walking away with all of my valuables I left my home in the forest, but not before burying Filo. May the Ascended bless his soul. I left the belongings the bandits didn’t take back there. I wanted to start a new life after that. I’m still wandering around the land, hoping to find somewhere far away from my old troubles. Occasionally I stop and do some work such as mining or mercenary work just long enough to get provisions. I’m going to try to settle down in a city somewhere and find work, but I’m not sure whether I want to with the looming threat of bandits and undead everywhere. What is your Character's ambitions?: To settle down somewhere where violence does not plague the land, and perhaps join the Rangers of the Forest to help control those vile bandits. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? I would stand up for the Halfling. If they warriors leave, I would accompany the Halfling somewhere safe. If they don’t leave, then I would pull out my bow and prepare for a fight. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? I would ask if he is selling food, as I always seem to run out of that. If there is anything of high value, I might buy it, but only if it seems that I could sell it elsewhere for more minas. I would also see if I need to replace my weapons and buy new ones if necessary. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: I would first ask about the hut in nearby villages to see if the hut is truly abandoned. Since there is no point in leaving valuables unused, I would take the bars and sword. If the hut is not abandoned, I would leave a note telling the owner to hide his belongings better. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I would go in and find the nearest vendor with food. I would also share news and stories and find out if there are any jobs I could do nearby, as well as where to avoid from undead and bandit attacks. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Quite honestly, if I had the choice to, I wouldn’t help. There are plenty of warriors to help and I prefer not to fight. However, because I need the minas for provisions, I would do it. Of course, I would let the guards do most of the work and simply finish the bandits off with an arrow. Since I need the drink and meal, and would join the guards in celebration at the local tavern.
