[[Where do you go in Elysium?]]

I agree to putting minas back into voting. And maybe a message to your character could appear describing there being about 25 minas lying on the ground that someone must had lost.

I also think monsters should drop their normal drops once more. We druids, as well as the farmers across the world, need bones for our precious bonemeal to grow things. Perhaps make it as to where they can have a rare chance to drop a couple minas? In just 3-4 days (only about 5-6 hours a day) of being on the temp, I have collected over 50 minas just by defending myself from monsters.

I'm glad that I read we would see more events in 3.0. I am looking forward to possibly server-wide events, nation events, guild events, and even random events for a single person or a small group.

I support him 100%! He is a great role-player and all around guy. Since I met him I have come to the realization that he is all around an amazing guy. He would make a great GM and would provide much to this server! +1 From your druid pal, Callax ;D

I wish something would be done with the healer's hold. Every time I visit no one is there and it is never open yet. Also, i would really like to start training, but seeing how times are currently busy, I dont think that is going to happen anytime soon. The Healer's Hold sounds like a great thing for Asulon, but nothing seems to be going on with it at all...

Could someone possible edit this LotC time cycle guide to be equal with the new time? It is too complicating to figure out. Hoping for a time guide so I can allow my character to age correctly.

OOC: Really sorry I haven't said much since last week. Been really busy with my marching band and I forget I have to check this thread for responses. My school starts this Thursday, August 16th. So I will be on from 9:00pm GMT and later. That is 4:00pm and on in EST, so that may be a bit of an awkward time. And the time may get later depending on if I have band practice or duties at home. On Saturdays I can be on most of the day from about 3:00pm GMT on, with breaks for lunch and such my time. It may be a bit difficult adjusting with our mass time difference, but we will get it done at some point.

Master Healer Nimshae,

For quite a long time now I have been seeking the opportunity to learn the arts of healing. When I was a mere child growing up, I lived with a man who was quite the philosopher. Within his studies, however, he practiced a few of the healing arts. I would even go out to collect for him the required herbs and such that he requested. That man made a huge impact on my life, and he served as a mentor and acted as my father. Most of my life has been based on what I have learned from that man. I have sought to learn many things and become a philosopher myself, but I have also sought to learn the method of healing others, no matter what race they be or even if they are mere animals such as the sheep.

My reasons for the desire to learn the ways are not only because I look up to my mentor, but also because I have the passion to help others in need. I myself am a Dedicant of the Druidic Order. Throughout my journeys through the lands and of completed druid tasks, I have encountered many injuries and sicknesses from animals and people alike. Through my teaching of the druid ways, I have come quite close to nature and I wish to protect nature and keep balance. With the knowledge of the healing ways, I could do much for nature; nature not just being the birds and the trees, but also the different races of beings who walk within it. I even once saved one of my fellow dedicants from death. His leg had broken completely off from above the knee down by a tragic episode with a goblin and a clown. I carried him to a bed, cut the bit of access bone jarring out, made a tourniquet to stop the major blood loss, and he attached a peg to his leg to allow him to walk. From this event especially, my desire to learn the arts of healing have shot up high, and I wish to use these abilities to help many others.

I have discovered that you are a great healer and are willing to accept apprentices to pass down what ye have learned to benefit the many who encounter with such tragic events. Callax grew up in the forests out side of Alras with an old philosopher named Darius. Darius was committed to the studies of the history of Aegis and Asulon. He acted as a father, and a mentor to Callax. You see, Callax never knew his real family. He was one day found by Darius aside a stream in the woods. Though Darius was an elderly man, he took Callax in and treated him as his son and taught him many things.

When Callax grew older, he became Darius' apprentice. He would run many errands to the Library of Alras to fetch books for Darius. In his free time, Callax would even check out a few books for himself to study up on, in hope to someday become as wise as his mentor. After many years, Callax still remained loyal to Darius, and still looked to him as his father and for guidance when he needed.

Once Callax reached the age of 21, he had become a smart, tall, and bearded young man. Darius knew it was Callax's time to leave his humble abode and to venture out into the lands on his own, and he feared he wouldn't be around for Callax much longer now, since he was so old. One evening, he sat down with Callax and told him it was his time to go. Callax always respected Darius, and knew he was a very wise man that he would obey no matter what. So Callax gathered up his few belongings, put a few minas in a small pouch, and said his goodbyes to his beloved mentor. Though he would miss Darius, Callax too knew that it was his time to start his own life.

What are your Character's ambitions?: Callax hopes to carry on the knowledge of his mentor, Darius, and to possibly become a philosopher himself. He also hopes to visit Alras to see Darius again.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Callax's favorite tool is the book.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Callax spent much time in the library of Alras and spent a lot of time studying, therefore he is most skilled in smarts and literature.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Callax would respond in a nice, sophisticated way to the guards, asking them to please back off. If they didn't leave the halfling alone then, Callax would try to distract them by asking them questions, and would shoo off the little halfling, then get away from them as well.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Callax would respond by asking what he had to offer. If there was nothing of interest, he would politely thank the man and tell him he isn't interested.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Callax would leave it all. One of the many things he was taught by Darius was never to steal, for it was unjust.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Callax would respond by greeting them politely and ask if they could spare a small portion of food and for directions to the nearest town. If they offered the help, Callax would ask if he could repay them with a few minas.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Callax can't fight, so he just decides to leave the hard work to the more experienced fighters of the town. He wouldn't want to make any mistakes and put anyone in doom.

When Callax was born, he was born in a small camp and with no father. His father was an evil man who did many terrible things in his time, but had died soon before his son's birth. Many bad people would forever hunt Callax down until they killed him because of his father. However, Callax had a great destiny ahead of him, and there was a man who knew of this destiny, and knew that Callax would bring much greatness in his life. This man's name was Darius. When Callax was brought into the world, Darius kidnapped him and took him far away to a large tower house on an unknown island.

Darius acted as the boy's father and mentor. He taught him many things, such as reading, writing, fighting, and many other things. Callax had never known anything about his real father and his people, or even his last name. Darius kept it from him for his own safety. However, Darius knew the day would come when he would have to say goodbye to Callax and have him set sail for Asulon, for it was Callax's destiny to travel to the great lands and discover what his purpose was in the world. When that day had come, Darius told Callax that he loved him as his own son, but he had to leave and discover his true purpose in life. Callax was devastated to have to leave the life he had come to love, but he knew Darius had always been true to him, and respected what he told him. Darius gave Callax a compass he had crafted himself, and told him the compass would lead him to the lands of Asulon. Callax would always remember Darius and his last words to him, "Bye my son. I promise we will see each other again."

Callax left on a small sail boat at the age of 20. He was a tall, average built, bearded man with shaggy brown hair. He was on his way to the land of Asulon to start a new life and to do great things for the many people there. On his journeys he would discover new places, find his true self, and make a few good friends to have his back. Callax is destined for greatness, and that greatness will eventually show.

He offers the guards his assistance, but requires a sword. They have some spares and give him a stone sword. Callax waits for the command and he helps run the bandits off.
