  1. I give Artimec my support as a teacher of Druidism. As a character, Artimec has turned himself around greatly from being a dirty void-slinger to a devout and pious Druid. As he has gained great reputation and acceptance for Druids through his spreading of Aspectism, I believe he would be capable of teaching Druidism.

  2. Everyone who disagrees with this new rule has provided superb reasoning, whether it be more personal or overall and more generally constructive, 95% which I agree with, myself.

    I offer this suggestion, however:

Since the majority of the server disagrees with this rule, boycott it. The Druidic Order (as I'm sure other groups of magic did) ignored the rule and continued on our merry way with teaching how we always have, and look what happened - a 'leniency' list was created. So, I repeat to the overwhelming majority of the server who disagree with this rule, boycott it. If no one follows this rule, it cannot be enforced because 90% of the server is not going to be banned over such a stupid idea that, as has been reflected, even many staff members disagree with.

  3. Some further discussion has been held with some Druid guild leaders and ttwesten. We, and he, have agreed that for reasons involving the inactivity/distance of the character Dri'Killan from the Order and from RP in general, as well as the changes that have been made toward various aspects of our magic in that time, he is okay to pick-up again with Druid magic in the case that he is set back to Tier 2 Druidism. In order for his advance, he will be required to be RPly taught and guided by an approved teacher (I, myself, have OOCly agreed to provide lessons should he turn up IC for this to occur).

As for this individual application, the acceptance is up to the discretion of the MAT. Though, ttwesten has agreed to seek me in RP for lessons and THEN make a new, regular MA.

  4. Alright, I did some searching and found your original MA:

    https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/89889-in-progressdrikillans-druidism-application/#comment-791571

It appears that 1) You lied in this app, I did not teach you. And 2) Your MA (in the old system) was never accepted.

And as Arik mentioned above, but to further elaborate, during the time that the MAT was disbanded, you were sporadic in your RP as Dri'Killan (to the knowledge of the Druids) and performed unrealistic feats with our magic, even though you hadn't been taught/had an accepted MA previously (unless Arik validates otherwise). As far as I understand, you will have to seek out a teacher of Druidism in-game and apply for a normal MA with one of our teachers.

  5. My experience with Mitto has been enjoyable from an IC/RP perspective. However, OOCly, my only experience with him was during the previous Druidic Order circle split when he ICly left the Order to join the other group, but spent far too much time bashing and hating with toxicity towards the original Order of Druids, thus unnecessarily adding onto unneeded OOC drama. Though, plenty of people were doing that on both sides of the issue, so it's not an aim at Mitto himself, but merely just a point.

That is old, however, and while I am not around him much OOCly anymore, I am sure that he is a decent candidate. He seems to be the type of person with dedication and steadfastness, and our Aspectual Father of the Hunt, Cernunnos, would bless him for that.

  6. What is your Minecraft Account Name?: VitaminC

How long have you played on LotC?: About three and a half years.

How many hours per day/week are you available?: I am available on the forums about 10 hours a day, give or take 2-3 hours depending on the day or real-life events. I am available to be in-game about half the time as I am on the forums, plus  I am often more active during later hours in EST/GMT-5.

Have you read and do you thoroughly understand Magic Lore?: Yes, I indeed have read it; though, to my belief, I understand Magic Lore quite well, I could always have a greater understanding of the lore, so I re-read, reference the lore, and ask questions when needed.

What Magic Lore do you hold the most experience with?:

I hold my greatest experience with Druidism with particularly keen understanding of concepts such as Shapeshifting, Soul Trees, corrupt Druids, the Aspect Stones, and other, rarer Druid magic attributes. The Arcane/Void areas, I don't find difficulty with understanding and would say I am also fairly experienced and knowledgeable with them. Other than that, I hold minor experience with Shamanism and Soulpuppetry, from OOC perspectives alone, and have been diving into a better understanding on Runesmithing and other magics that I haven't dealt much with before.

Give a Summary of any Staff/Lead positions you’ve held on any Minecraft Server in the past:

On Lord of the Craft, I served on the old MAT and have lead the Druidic Order guild for about two and a half to three years. I was a developer on a server, Legend of Aelryth by Arteh, and wrote much Elven and Magic lore there. Furthermore, I have been an active individual in shaping and maintaining Druidism over the past three years and have also acted as a consultant for Druidism to many individuals in staff positions (MAT members, Lore Masters, Admins) in that time.

What magics do you desire to teach?: All components of Druidism

Summarize the Lore of this Magic:

When an individual has achieved full enlightenment on his path to Druidism, he is attuned to Nature and becomes a Druid. Attunement allows the Druid a direct connection to the Aspects of Nature (also known as Cernunnos, Cerridwen and Nemiisae), and he may communicate and react with the world on a whole new level. This new relationship grants the Druid empathy with Nature and the potential to gain influence over it. In order to enhance his influence over Nature, a Druid must further close his relationship with it and the Aspects; this is done through years of extensive meditation, prayer, and devout service.

For a more detailed summary of the magic and all the components of it, read these two short books my character wrote some time ago:

    ·The Gifts of Nature·

    Volume I - Upon Attunement

Scribed by Hierophant Callax, the Solstice Druid

    ~Prologue~

When a Dedicant has achieved full enlightenment on his path to Druidism, he is attuned to Nature and becomes a Druid. Attunement allows the Druid a direct connection to the Aspects of Nature, and he may communicate and react with the world on a whole new level. This new relationship grants the Druid empathy with Nature and the potential to gain influence over it. In order to enhance his influence over Nature, a Druid must further closen his relationship with it and the Aspects; this is done through years of extensive meditation, prayer, and devout service.

The Gifts of Nature obtained upon attunement from the Aspects are referred to as Nature’s Communion and Favors of Nature.

    ~ Nature’s Communion ~

Sharing or exchanging intimate thoughts and feelings with floral and faunal life is what defines as Nature’s Communion. The Druid forms companionships with beasts and shares the serenity of life with the abundant and diverse vegetation of the world. Nature’s Communion is the bond between Druid and Nature. And since a Druid cannot make sufficient use of the other Gifts without a sufficient bond with Nature, this Gift serves as the foundation of all Druidic abilities.

    ~ Favors of Nature ~

Ushering forth the lush verdure of a meadow, twisting and shaping roots and vines and coaxing the growth of a full sized tree are all abilities of this Gift. Through Favors of Nature, a Druid seemingly manipulates the world around him. Often times this Gift is referred to as Control of Nature, however, a Druid does not control Nature; he asks the Aspects for their helping hand, and depending on the bond a Druid shares with the Aspects, he is granted his request. A Druid is the caretaker and the servant of Nature, therefore, he uses this Gift only in his service and to promote balance and peace.

    ~*~

These Gifts of Nature’s Communion and Favors of Nature are those which all Druids can excel in after attunement. Though, a Druid’s ability and influence over Nature depends heavily on the bond he shares with the Aspects. One who exhibits selflessness and persistence will only propel forward.

    ·The Gifts of Nature·

    Volume II - Healing

Scribed by Hierophant Callax, the Solstice Druid

    ~Prologue~

Attuned Druids gain a wide array of natural abilities. The abilities which, arguably, make the biggest difference and impression on the world are articulated by healing the various forms of life. In Druidic practices, two forms of healing exist: Druidic Healing and Blight Healing. These ancient arts are practiced to see that balance is restored to unnaturally harmed lands, plants, peoples, and beasts.

Unlike Nature’s Communion and Favors of Nature, these Gifts of Nature do not solely rely on a Druid’s relationship with the Aspects, but also require knowledge and guidance. Each method of healing must be taught by a Druid who is already experienced with that particular method.

    ~ Blight Healing ~

Lands affected by blight, plague, disease, death, decay or magical scarring are given new life, and in the place of the infertile soil there is verdure. A Druid hears the cries and pain of Nature when it is scorn and imbalanced. A Druid practiced in the methods of Blight Healing has the ability to infuse Nature’s energies into healing scorn life and with their ability to “manipulate” Nature, a Druid can reseed dead and decayed wood and other plants and grow them back into the ground.

    ~ Healing ~

The methods of Druidic healing combines the practice of Druidic herbalism with the natural blessings of the Aspects and Gifts of Nature. The effects of potent herbs with healing properties are enhanced by the Druid through meditation and blessings. The herbs can then be prepared into various remedies, salves and poultices along with the combination of other natural elements. Whether it is a leafy patch up or a life-saving antidote, Druidic healers are able to tend to peoples of all races and beasts of any wild with the creative blessings of this skill.

    ~*~

The Gifts of Nature are by far the most noble of Druidic abilities. It is known that Druids are some of the best healers in the land and are only outshone by Clerics and Monks in regards to healing the peoples of the races. Druids will only do remarkable things with these Gifts in their service to Nature and will become remarkable individuals by going the extra mile to act as the physicians of Nature: plant and beast.

Write up a lesson that your character would give to a student. (Do note, we will be contacting aspiring teachers for a quick interview, to try to better gauge your knowledge and understanding):

    * Callax calls into the grove, his words brash and expectant, "Dalari, my dear, 'tis time for your first lesson in communicating with Nature!"

     * The lone Druid resting within the grove's college hurriedly springs forward, "I'm ready, sir!"

     * Callax paces from the grove and into the woods until happening upon a rose bush, "Over here, we are."

     * The Druid follows suit, approaching the bush by Callax's side. She speaks up, "Hello... rose... How's it... erm... What's..."

     * Callax shakes his head, tutting under his breath, "Communicating with Nature requires you to become more involved with your attunement to than merely using words. You must be empathetic."

     * Callax looms forward, caressing a flower in his hand, "Please, sit."

     * The Druid bobs her head forward as she does as she is told.

     * Callax looks to the Druid now and speaks, "I want you to concentrate on nothing but your connection to Nature right now. Close your eyes and drift off into meditation; your sole thoughts are projected at this rose. Do not let your mind wander whatsoever. Simply focus."

     * The Druid takes a deep breath and closes her eyes. She begins to drift off into meditation, focusing her mind solely on the flower's presence.

     * Callax speaks again, but softly as to not disturb her concentration, "Allow the Aspects' presence to completely and utterly engulf your very being. Open yourself to the rose, and the rose shall be open to you. You /are/ one with Nature now and forever."

     * In the meantime, while the Druid progresses in her state of meditation, Callax leaves the scene to tend to a few chores, allowing the Druid some time to progress on her own.

     * . . . Some time passes and Callax finally makes his return, observing carefully. He notices the Druid grinning up at the rose.

     * The Druid tilts her head to the side, looking to Callax, "I think I did it! My mind didn't stray and I maintained focus, and I was sure to relate my mind to the rose alone. There was a new presence, and it made me feel sort of... sad. But then, I felt joy and the scent of the rose filled my nose and mind with vivid and unique detail."

     * Callax brushes his nimble fingers over his beard, "It seems that you have made your first connection! Now, things shall move along with much more haste. I am proud."

     * The Druid grins, and gives her thanks.

     * Callax taps his staff against the ground and gives a curt nod of his head, "Now, I shall be off. Get a sip of water, and return to the rose bush. Now that you understand empathy, you will be able to progress through your communication with great strides. Tots for now, dear."

  8. Here are my previous magic applications to show the validity of my Druidism. Druidism no longer has the complicated subtypes as it shows in my old applications; it's only an Archtype now.

My original Magic App - Link

    Magic Application

Pledge: I understand that I must have knowledge about magic before you actually begin to fill out this application, as there is questions that you will not understand without the basic knowledge. Note that if you are not Applying with “Lore” you will have to write as if you had already accomplished your trainings.(If you do not have this in your application, you will be denied.).

    MC Name: 12werbles12

    RP Name: Arch Druid Callax

    Character Info

    Race: Human

    Age: 42

    Character’s Personality:
Callax is a very amiable man. Many who seek out the Druids’ Grotto may find him there, and ask for knowledge or advice. Usually, Callax will give an in-depth response and sometimes he may even babble on, starting a rather lengthy conversation about druidry. Many dedicants often go to him as well, hoping for his guidance and wisdom on their path as a druid and to turn in or request a new task. Callax is usually very pleased to offer them his advice and enjoys his time serving as a mentor to the newer druids.

However, there are times when Callax can come off quite hostile and rude. In these times Callax is a bit blunt and stern to those he engages in conversation with. Being an Arch Druid, he has come to find a lot of weight on his shoulders; and sometimes when things get stressful, he simply doesn’t wish to speak to anyone and will shrug them off or send them elsewhere so he can enjoy a bit of privacy in his office. If he is not stressed but acts in an unkind way, it is generally because he does not feel respected. He honors respect and will show such until he is shown the need to act otherwise. Taking his position as Arch Druid quite seriously, Callax will often lecture for hours to those who show ignorance.

    Weaknesses:
Callax’s biggest weakness is his being of naive and trustworthiness. He always tries to pick out the good in people whether they are sane or a completely crazed maniac! Anyone who appears at the Druids’ Grove and ask for help or assistance, Callax is always the first one to volunteer. This being said, someone with the intention to murder may show up at the Grove and ask for a bowl of stew and Callax would take them in with no question only to get himself killed. He has often found himself in troublesome situations because he has looked past the faults of many to only see the true nature within them. Because of this, he has come to near-death situations that he barely managed to escape. Luckily, he has nature’s will on his side when it comes to staying alive. He only acts otherwise in moments of great stress, whereas he will inform those who seek the druids to take their leave.

    Strengths:
Callax’s greatest strength is his being of the Druidic Order. With nature’s will on his side, he is confident in all he does as a druid. He has now been with the order for half of his already lived life, and in that time has come to obtaining great wisdom and knowledge. With his position as Arch Druid, he has become closer to nature than many currently in the Order. And with his bond to nature, he has become quite confident in all he does. He has become a little better known after many travels with elves and halflings now, and can make friends with most anyone who crosses his path, or he can try at least.

Have you read the Magic Rules?: Indeed I have.

State one rule verbatim from the Magic Rules: If you want to learn magic because you think it is “Cool”, then you are probably not going to be accepted. Magic is about offering unique and interesting roleplay and not to become the most powerful being in Asulon.

Why do you (as a player) wish for your character to possess magical abilities?
I wish for my character to possess these magical abilities because without them, what kind of Arch Druid is he? Through becoming a druid, he is granted the gift from nature and the Aspects to call upon them to bend nature to his will, or heal the gruesome wounds of many, or perhaps speak to the flowers and the sheep. Callax strives to hold a deep connection with nature, and as all druids, seeks to revere and protect all of nature. He would better be able to do this if he could speak to the plants and animals and feel what they feel. Through this, he could determine that a lonely tree may wish for company, so he would plant an entire forest around that tree. Or perhaps a cow is sick, but it is difficult to tell from what, he could find out through focusing on that cows thoughts and feelings. Many have also appeared before the druids for healing purposes of deadly wounds, and it pains me to tell them I am not experienced enough to heal through druidic methods. It would offer great roleplay to those who seek the druids for their healing and guidance when Callax could use his healing abilities.

    Qualified Learning Experience:

Name of Teacher. If self-taught, you must still have an accepted Teacher overseeing your self-teachings. Provide a link to the Teacher’s accepted Teacher App (If you are applying with “Lore”, place N/A as a response): Saviticus Treebeard (Saviordude) shall be my teacher. He was grandfathered into teaching.

Subtype(s) you are applying for, be specific. (Note: You may apply for more than one subtype. You will need three references per subtype):
    Nature’s Communion & Nature’s Healing

Under what conditions would your character be unable to use his/her magic?
Callax’s ability to call upon nature’s assistance would become unable to perform if his mind was clouded with excess emotions. As a druid, emotions such as fear, depression, or love can become the downfall of one. If Callax was in a situation that caused him to break down in stress or emotional trauma, he would not be able to focus on calling upon the Aspects to perform a healing ceremony or speak to a cow when he needs to calm himself down. Also, he would not be able to communicate with nature or the Aspects if he did not have complete focus, which means he could not engage in any conversation whatsoever. Being a very active Arch Druid to the Order, he has to focus hard and find ways to manage all the work he does as to where his mind does not become clouded, and his connection with the Aspects severed.

How long will it take for your character to become an “Adept” with this/these subtype(s) (Adept: Skilled with said subtype, but not a master. Grading the skills on a scale of 1 to 10, Adept would be 6 out of 10.) Callax has spent many years meditating and tightening his bond with nature so that he can perform these tasks on somewhat of a level. Essentially, it would take him around twenty to thirty LotC years to become “Adept” with his abilities through extensive meditation and the furthering of his connection with the Aspects.

What alignment is your character? (chaotic neutral, lawful neutral, true neutral, chaotic evil, lawful evil, neutral evil, chaotic good, lawful good, neutral good) This helps determine “how” your character might go about using their magical ability. Callax’s alignment would be neutral good. Being Arch Druid, he believes it is his place to act responsibly of kindness and generosity towards all folk of all races and earn their respect for the Order and what the druids stand for. He tells the truth, keeps his word, and helps those in need of guidance. He does this all, though, out of respect given to him, whilst not showing any bias towards any particular folk and maintaining order.

Write up a short situation of how you would go about RP’ing magic? Such as methods, requirements etc. (This section allows for you to write how YOU would RP magic in your own environment without being put into a situation your character wouldn’t be in.)
Upon exiting the druids’ grove, Callax takes notice of an odd brown lump in the grass across the lake. He eases himself over the leafy bridge, approaching whatever it is that has caught his eye. The lump seems to be expanding then contracting slightly, as if it was... breathing. As he looms over the now identifiable lump, it appears as if it is a brown rabbit. A brown rabbit that had recently been caught in the jaws by a wolf, but left lying for better game.

Callax kneels down beside the rabbit, he places his hand gently on its side then takes a deep breath. Closing his eyes, he clears his mind and focuses solely on the rabbit’s own being, an attempt to connect to its mind. With the Aspects guiding, the rabbit’s thoughts and feelings flow through his arm and to his own thoughts. He feels the paint that was inflicted, and now identifies what needs to done heal the poor creature.

A dedicant approaches and begins to speak to him, only to be immediately hushed so Callax can acquire the proper concentration needed with the Aspects. The damage to the rabbit is mostly internal, and with Callax’s hand still resting upon its side, he mutters a small prayer to the Aspects, asking them to grant him their powers for a short while. Callax hums as he feels the Aspects the working with him. His hand seems to emit a slight yellow glow, and the glow spreads onto the body of the rabbit.

The light changes green as the rabbit’s wounds close up, and the damage now healed. Feeling the Aspects being leaving his mind, Callax ceases his his humming and removes his hand from the rabbit’s body. The little creature perks its head up, giving a twitch of its nose in thanks before hopping up from the ground and scurrying off into the nearby forest. Callax eases himself up, using his staff for support. He is breathing heavily from slight exhaustion, so rather than speaking he motions the dedicant to follow him into the grove.

A biography of your character, five paragraphs at least. Illustrate your character's life and what lead him/her/it to the practice of magic:
As a boy, Callax grew up outside the walls of Alras in an apothecary. He lived with an elderly man whom went by the name, Darius. Callax learned to read at an early age, and came to quite liking the connection that was formed between his imagination and the great books he came upon. He took to an early learning of herbology as well and would often be given tasks by Darius to gather certain things for his herbal remedies he experimented with. And so Callax would, rather joyfully, wander off into the forest and seek out whatever was needed.

Before he would EVER leave the house though, he had to grab a book to read on. As a young boy, he grew to a deep connection with the forest through his peaceful hours of reading. His love for the forest, the herbs, and the creatures was equally as high as his love for studying and learning something new every day. When he was there, he could feel at peace with himself under a tree and simply enjoy the life around him.

It was on the first Itnan of the Grand Harvest one year when Callax had turned sixteen. He picked up the usual book from the shelves, and this one dealt with information of the Druidic Order. Upon his trip into the forest that day, he found a nice tree to lie under and began to read the book. His interests were immediately sparked into learning of the druids. For the next four years, Callax would read books written about druids and the order. He had discovered what he wished to do with his life upon feeling the connection and love with nature that he shared with the druid people.

When he turned twenty years old, it became time to let go of his simple life with the elderly Darius, and set off to begin his own life. With this, he set forth to seek out the druids in hope to become what he learned to be called a “Druid Dedicant”. He travelled over the lands in search of the great forest called Elandriel, also known to be home of the Druids’ Grove. Once there, he took to rest for a day or so at the roots of the Mother Tree, Ethanriel. He was eventually woken by an old Elven druid. Beleran was his name, and he was one of the Arch Druids at the time. Beleran asked him what he was seeking there at the grove, and Callax explained to him that he wished to join the Druidic Order. The Arch Druid told him he would be given an interview before accepted as a dedicant. After a few hours of questions, Beleran decided to accept Callax as a dedicant under his guidance.

For quite a few years, Callax held the title Dedicant. He went through many tasks and trials given to him by the Arch Druid and came to developing the mindset a druid should have and also gained further knowledge of everything about the druids and what they stood for and practiced. Once he felt ready that he had learned all he should as a dedicant and felt he was ready to become one with nature at last, Callax discussed with Beleran of his attunement. First, however, he would have to perform a Grand Task to prove his bond with nature and that he should be accepted as a full druid. Over a few more years, Callax went about the lands growing groves and gardens, writing a few books and distributing them to libraries across the lands, and spreading his newly gained knowledge about the druids and the Order. When he was finally complete with his Grand Task, Callax could never seem to meet up with Beleran at the same time within the grove. Eventually, after another couple years, he met an old druid called Wolf Druid Ouity. Ouity agreed to perform his attunement, and it was done. Callax became known as the Solstice Druid, now around thirty years of age, and his dream was fulfilled.

Over the next ten years, Callax spent much time with his brethren, gaining more knowledge, forming a closer bond with nature, and paying great contribution to the Order. He went about the lands preaching of the druids and meeting many friends by doing so. When no Guide or Arch Druids were around the grove to assist those whom sought out the druids for their assistance, Callax would be there to guide them in any way he could. Eventually, he was made a Guide Druid by the Arch Druid Valas due to his devotion and knowledge within the Order. As the new Guide Druid, he took to giving tasks to a couple dedicants, and serving as their mentor. As a Guide Druid, Callax was offered much more respect and acknowledgement than he had previously received. His devotion to nature and his dedication to the Order grew and grew. The Druidic Order had become his life, his family. In Asulon;’s later years of being a home to the races, the Arch Druid who had brought Callax into the order decided it was his time to go. A new Arch Druid was to be appointed, and all of the fingers pointed to Callax. His contribution, dedication, knowledge, bond with nature, and kindness were recognized by the entire Order. He graciously accepted the title of Arch Druid.

Now, dwelling with his brethren at the grove of Elysium, he sought to take the next step into his path as a druid. For his bond being so close with nature and his heart with the Order, he decided he would further his path by taking the time to accomplish two great things. He had always wished he could speak to the animals and plants of the lands, communicate with them, for it is them whom he serves and protects under the Aspects’ guidance. He had also come across many people and animals over the times in Elysium that needed healing, and with his limited knowledge, he could only offer them so much. He recognizes that he has come very far on his path as a druid, and with his closeness to the Aspects, will strive to learn the arts of Druidic Healing through their blessing. He meditates daily to keep a tight grip on his being of one with nature and shall learn to communicate with the wildlife to understand their desires so that he may better hold protection over them in all he does. Though, he knows he shall need guidance along the way so that he can better understand how exactly to connect his own mind with that of the Aspects and nature. Upon this knowledge, he decided to approach his fellow brother and Arch Druid, Saviticus. Saviticus, taking notice of Callax's true intentions and his tight bond with nature, gladly agreed to guide him through his learning and they shall begin with focusing further on how he shall go about speaking to plants and animals.

    Open ended response questions (O.E.R.Q’s):

If your character would be unable to perform , please just write “-N/A-” as an answer. This question may be answered with an RP format. Note that you may answer this part as if your character had already completed his/her magical training.

You have a small box. How might your character lift it using magic?
*Callax raises an eyebrow at the small box. He scratches his chin through his beard, pondering for a moment as to what sort of creature he should call upon.
*He gives a nod to himself upon hearing the chattering of a couple squirrels in a nearby tree.
*Turning his gaze to the tree nearby, he focuses on the squirrels.
*Callax takes a step forward and reaches his staff out towards to two squirrels, squinting his eyes and allowing only their chattering to enter his mind.
*Callax takes a deep breathe before he thrusts his staff into the ground before him. The squirrels ceases what they are doing and look towards the sudden ‘THUD’.
*With his staff held out and his mind focused, Callax orders the squirrels “Come, my friends.”
*The squirrels cock their heads to each other at first, then scamper down the tree and rear up to their hind legs before Callax.
*Callax swings around and points his staff at the box, then performs a lifting motion with his other hand and nods at the squirrels.
*The two squirrels wiggle their noses and they both hop on over the box. Confused, they cock their heads at Callax.
*Callax motions his left hand by holding it out flat then thrusting it down at an angle and lifts it straight up.
*The squirrels twitch their noses again, then look down at the small box. They push their tiny paws under the edges and, struggling a bit, lift it up a couple inches.
*Callax grins then gives them a nod. They let the box back down, then scamper back to his feet.
*Callax pulls a couple nuts from within his robes and hands them down to the squirrels.
*The two squirrels take the nuts then scamper back up the side of their tree.

As you walk towards the Human Lands, taking the southern road, you pass a group of Tribal men, followers of the Blood Mages. They are arguing with a group of cloaked, masked men, concerning their “Red Gods.” The two groups spit venomous words back and forth and, soon, everyone draws their weapons. One of the tribal men suddenly turns to you, yelling out: “Whose side are ya on?! That of the Red Gods, or these heretics?!” What do you do?
*Callax looks to the man who shouted at him, giving a sigh then says bluntly, “I am on my own side. The side of the Aspects.”
*The man gives him a stupid look, “Oi! You be on the side of these heretics then?!”
*Callax shakes his head, rather disappointed. “You are all foolish. I shall not be taking part in your petty disagreement,” he spits.
*The man glares at him, “We have the right to strike anyone who speaks unkindly of our Gods!”
*Callax speaks up in a rather angry tone, “NO. You do not! Why don’t you all be on your ways? Why shed blood over something this pointless?”
*Another man shouts angrily at him, “We shall act as we please!” He raises his sword in offense.
*Callax takes a deep breath and closes his eyes for a few moments, transmitting his thoughts to the bee hive in the tree nearby. He mutters something in a strange tongue as the bees gather outside their hive, buzzing their way in a frenzy towards the groups.
*The first man shouts again, “Well?? Ye be with us, or aga- What the hell is that?!”
*Callax raises his head and watches as the swarm of bees separates the two groups and sends them off flailing their swords in the air and screaming in opposite directions. He gives a smug grin to himself and walks away, whistling a merry tune.

Travelling along the Western Road, you hear muffled yells and shouts from nearby. Moving towards the sound, you stumble upon the entrance to a dark, damp cave. The shouts echo loudly from the cave’s maw and you slowly advance into it only to find the inside sticky with web. Screeching echoes emit from inside and you quicken your step and as you round a corner you are immediately knocked back by the large leg of a gigantic spider. A small cut appears on your stomach as you stumble to your feet; you barely note the injured man to your right as an armored woman suddenly steps to your side, her sword drawn. The injured man is armored and armed and appears as if he could fight, were he in good health. What do you do?
*Callax ignores the cut along his stomach, and recollects himself from the sudden action and takes notice of what is going on.
*He shouts to the woman, “KEEP IT OCCUPIED!” Then eases his way to the injured man beside him.
*Callax observes his body then places a hand over his chest and closes his eyes. He tones out the sounds of the hissing spider and calls upon the Aspects in his mind for their assistance. Feeling the sensation of energy inside him now, he pushes that energy into the being of the injured man, guiding it to flow throughout his body and seal the wounds. Callax takes another deep breath as he feels the Aspects’ presence leave, and he opens his eyes looking upon the man.
*The man makes a sound of distress but then his expression lightens up and he gives off a comfortable sigh. He grabs around for his blade then jumps to his feet and gives a nod to Callax.
*Callax reaches around for his staff, but takes notice of his own wound. He repeats the actions to connect with the Aspects, but he is too tired at the moment from his previous connection to call them.
*He decides to rest against the nearby wall until he can re-focus. In the meantime, the man and woman work at defeating the spider, then try to help him.
*Callax motions them off as he takes time to regain enough energy to then heal himself.

You arrive in the dark, shaded woods of Elandriel. As you walk through the shade of the trees, a cloaked slave of the Mori’quessir suddenly leaps from behind the trunk of a tree, grabbing at you and knocking whatever staff, sword, or other weapon you may have strapped to your side or back to the ground. They quickly kick it across the floor, approaching you slowly with a wicked laugh, slowly placing their hands on the shackles at their side. You dart your eyes around quickly, seeing no one in sight to assist you, the area full of trees and verdant green grass. What do you do?
N/A - The Mori’ and the Druids shared the Elandriel forest in peace.

You stand on the edge of the Arethor docks, staring out to the crisp blue sea. As you turn to leave you hear a loud “thud” from beneath you and hear two men cursing to each other. “Damnit! I told you to be bloody careful!” one of the men spits out in a harsh tone. “Sorry, Cap’n...I didn’t mean ta’...” the other man replies in a timid, almost scared tone. “Bah...Whatever. Jus’ hurreh it up. We’ve gotta finish this n’ get back ta’ the bakery fer’ wenches and ale!” The man lets out a hearty laugh and you cautious crawl over to the edge of the dock, peering underneath it you spy a small row boat stocked full of crates of TnT. Men in raggedy outfits who stink of the sea are lugging it under the dock, obviously preparing to blow the whole thing. What do you do?
*Callax raises both eyebrows in surprise, and knows he must do something to prevent their intentions.
*As the men rummage around beneath, Callax peers out into the water and takes notice of a school of large fish at the underside of a ship.
*He thrusts his arm into the water as he peers at the wavering shapes of fish. He calls unto the Aspects to will the fish his way while he envisions them leaping onto the small row boat, throwing the men and the boat off balance so it all tips over into the water.
*Callax whispers a chant, his eyes closed tight, and the fish react by hoarding toward the boat. Callax stands up and raises his arms out towards the sky as he shouts a strange word, ordering the fish to act.
*The large fish speed up through the water, thrusting themselves at the men. As the are hurling themselves, the men fall over against one side of the boat, and it thrashes about in the water, tipping over and dumping the explosives and the men into the water.
*Callax then focuses with the school of fish once more, allowing them to leave their well performed scene.
*Callax then rushes off when he hears the men thrashing around above the water and cursing about their failed mission, to find a couple knights and inform them of the men.

  10. Callax sits back in a rocking chair he formed from the roots of a tree; he holds the leather-bound tome in his hands. The roots creak sotly as he rocks back and forth and reads the tale with a faint and amused grin. Upon completing the story, he closes the book softly and rests it on his lap, just against his staff. With a distant gaze into the forest, he strokes a spindly hand over his beard and ponders over his love for both goats and tales. He examines the conclusion and introduction of the tome for an author's name, but can't seem to find one. "I think I'll keep a copy of this one," he thinks to himself assuredly, "and the original will be kept in our Grand Library!" He continues to rock in the root-chair for a time, waiting for someone to pass by so he might recommend the book to another.

  11.

if you're in the Spring Circle, just switch "Heirophant" with "an older druid". There would still be that vision/notification/whatever process, it just doesn't make sense for the other circle to be the ones the Aspects warn

Hierophants aren't tied to any particular circle. The Druidic Order grants Hierophancy to a Druid to release him or her from responsibilities tied to the Order, and the current Hierophants were all decided at a time when there were no multiple circles. Hierophants are what they are -the elder Druids, pillars of wisdom and guidance to all Druids- regardless of how many circles there are, unless and until one makes aware his or her alignment to one by obtaining an "official rank", such as in the Inner Circle.

  12. *|~

Somewhere in the realm beyond death, Callax walks the eternal forest of the Aspects with his brothers and sisters who have been long since deceased. Beneath the shadows of the trees' thick canopy, grasses and mushrooms bloom in his footsteps only illuminated by a parade of fireflies trailing far along and behind him. At once, however, he comes to an abrupt halt and stands still and silent; the forest becomes dark and undisturbed, and even the fireflies extinguish their lights. The frail old man's eye lids flutter shut and a tender, warm smile spreads across his lips. The smile is genuine, as no other time would he manage to lift the draping white locks from his chin. With a single tear trickling over the lines of his wizened face, Callax speaks out in a hushed and raspy tone of voice...

    "Welcome back, my dear."
