[] I didn't plan to just leave like this but I felt I can bring much with my new character x.x I also blame my OCD and perfectionist side, but alas I feel bad for Alice. I feel this will leave Alice broken. Which saddens me IRL as well. I hope to meet you on my new character and gain your friendship there because role playing with Alice was an amazing experience, and it'd be fun to RP more with her, should I be able to befriend her. It was great, and hope to RP with her again soon! []

Upon laying on his bed, Monk Raka fell to sleep quickly. Nothing seemed wrong, nothing at all. But upon the next day, Monk Raka did not awake. He had died. Through his life, Monk Raka had been developing a disease he was unaware of. When he slept, he did not awake for the disease had caused his heart to fail in an instant. While he had wished for a peaceful death in the end, this was a death like he wanted. He felt nothing as his heart gave out in his sleep, indeed a peaceful death... As a monk, he had helped all he could, but alas, he could go on no longer. [] This death was due to a developing roleplay idea I have developed in my head and wish to carry out. While that is one monk down, I will help elsewhere, and more monks pop in every day it seems, I think they will be well off. I wish you luck monks of the Cloud Temple, and goodbye, until we meet IC again, as different, more developed people. While I did leave the monks, I do encourage anyone to join them if they are thinking of doing so. I was a monk but a few days, but my life was HECTIC. So much went on I had to miss dinner one night due to constant roleplay, but I enjoyed it. Being a monk is a valuable roleplay experience to have. If you listen to all those in the land... []

The Wilven Sanctuary Monks Application Thread
Raka replied to Lita's topic in Asulon Roleplay Archive
Your Minecraft Username: Survivalism Your Monk's Name: Monk_Raka Have you read and agree to follow the rules?: Indeed, I have. Your Monk's Personality: Raka is a defensive Kha'. He can be aggressive, but also kind and caring. He has once had a hatred to all "Apes", but now has a tender side towards them. He is willing to help those in need, despite the cost. To this end he will often sit at the sanctuary, or travel, in order to help others. Should anyone ask of Raka's assistance, his assistance they will indeed get. A Very Brief Bio (Just a basic bio, not nearly as long as the one you used when applying for the server): Raka was once a Kha' of hatred, a hatred to all "Apes", those not Kha'. One day, upon visitation to the Cloud Temple, he witnessed a situation of a Shade threatening a monk. Another Kha. This greatly bothered Raka, who was one who distastes anyone willing to harm a fellow Kha'. Soon she was threatening another monk, and with this she attacked him, gravely wounding him. Later harming another in the temple. This helped spark Raka's change in his views of apes, their ruthlessness went too far in his opinion. But he saw another Kha. A Kha' in the temple being sweet to a halfling. This was an inspiring thing to Raka. Raka felt new feelings in the temple that day, feelings of kindness to the apes, and a wish to aid them. Raka still feels loyal to his empire, and he has not lost all his aggressive thoughts, but his thoughts of sweetness overpower his aggression, and bring him back to the days where he was a kitten. He loves the feelings of being a kitten more than much, and wishes to aid those in Asulon, and repeat the feelings he felt that day. Who were the Celestial Triumvirate?: Lord Tariel of the Stars Lord Keldrith of the Sun Lady Rellenia of the Moon A Lost traveler come to the Sanctuary and asks, "Monk, where am I and how might I find my way?" How do you respond?: Raka looks at the traveler and smiles lightly and kindly, "You are in the Cloud Temple Sanctuary. Where are you looking to find sir?" The man in which replies to this; "I am looking to find my way to Arethor". Raka nods to the man, and guides him to the path marked blue in the temple. "Down this road you will walk, straight, and upon the time you see water, you will see a carriage. If you ride this carriage, for a small price, you will be in Arethor. If you do not have the required Mina to pay, I will gladly pay for your expenses." The man replies "Thank you so much! I can afford the trip. Again, I thank you kind Monk!" The man then proceeds to Arethor, and Raka goes to help others in need. A Screenshot of Your Monk's Skin: http://tinypic.com/r/vy49ab/6 Anything else you'd like to say: While I believe I am making a major character change on this event, it is a synopsis of the kindness Raka has seen, so there is more buildup from RP than appears here. Raka will always be aggressive and violent, but not in the sake of harming innocents, only in acts to protect them. -Overall I just enjoy helping new players any way I can. Because of this I often go very much out of my way for them, sitting in WSC and helping in literally any way asked. Being a monk is just a wish for me to increase the ways I may help, along with have some fun roleplay. -
Thank You Very Much :>

MC Username: Survivalism Rp Username (be sure to include the correct prefix, look up on info thread): Raka (No prefix due to the nations' "Kharajyr scatter") Character Skillset: A skill-set basis set by use of 75 credits. (Values seen inside [ ] means final skill level) [100] 25 Wrestling [50] 25 Fishing [50] 25 Cooking [50] 0 Farming Appearance (age, SUBRACE, gender): Raka is a 30 year old male Kharajyr with the subrace of Kha' Pantera. Raka is a Kharajyr reaching a height of 6" with a weight in the 200's. Raka has short hair, which covers his body in full, all of which is of a jet black hue. Raka also wears a dull yellow cloth around his waist to cover that which is necessary. The tail of Raka is long and silky, a beautiful artifact in its own. On all four of his paws are dull pearl claws, capable of stripping the meat from simple animals with inspiring speed. Raka also has tiny grey whiskers, a very common physical trait of the Kha'. The dull colors of Raka are to help hide him should light shine onto his body so needfully cloaked into the darkness. The eyes of Raka are of a piercing gold, this sight alone in the dark can strike fear into a commoner. The ears of Raka are thin and large, yet still proportionate. These ears come with great hearing. Raka's nose is of a dark shade of grey, capable Of smelling capable hunts from afar. These three physical traits are a key part of Raka's survival. Raka uses his sense of smell, sight, and hearing to surprise his targets with his bow, giving him the advantage. Raka's strengths do not outweigh his weaknesses, but the opposite. He is in need of much training, and even at its completion he will be always outbalanced by weakness. Raka's greatest weakness is that of size. While Raka has much muscle mass, it cannot become bulk. Raka is a gracefully thin Kha'. He embraces his lean figure for the speed in which it brings him, an important quality in stealth. The only other main benefit of Raka's muscle (aside from the beauty it brings to his shape) is that of a powerful muscle-backed punch or scratch. The main result of Raka's lack in muscle mass is his inability to ever be able to wield hindering equipment. Raka prefers the stealth of his fists and his leather armor, but due to his size he is unable to wield any armor heavier than leather, or use any weapons of barbarians. Sword and the ax. He is also unable to do tasks such as blacksmithing, lumberjacking, and mining, for they require a sizable amount of strength. All his benefits are in stealth. With weakness of the body comes strength of the mind. Personality: Raka is nimble in the mind. Raka can plan with ease, and form plans in instants to aid his hunting. Despite his intelligence, he is not religious. He still holds Metztli above all, and the Tlatlanni just below her. Despite Raka's extreme gratitude to Metztli for her creation of in his eyes "The Perfect Species", he does not tend to include himself into religious ceremonies often. Generally an excuse is formed, if such a chance can occur. If not, he will watch in gratitude to avoid trouble with Metztli's love and care. Raka is one who is intelligent enough to learn to adapt and survive, his primary goal. Raka is not one to accept those who have come from Aegis, those who have brought their island nation fall. Raka has a heightened hatred of the orcs, the direct force that brought them to ruin. Raka hopes that one day his nation and its people will rise again, and take their home back once again. Raka only has feelings of warmth to other Kha', those whom aided is rise through life. Raka may be willing to accept the Aegians some day, but that change in mind would not come easily. Raka, despite how he may feel towards anything, will always be ruthless. When feeling endangered, or even if feeling suspicion, he will take down his targets with no regret. Raka. A Kha' both warm and cold at heart. Please include a short bio of your character's life: Raka grew up playfully wrestling with other Kha'. The kittens would all play for long periods of time, and as they grew, their hits grew in strength with each session. This was all they had. Raka had no Kha' to call brother or sister. Only parents to raise him, both lost in the orc victory assault. He escaped the island before his life was compromised. In any case, Raka grew up poor. Only able to sport a yellow cloth at his waist. In order to feed his family, Raka would often sport up fishing. The fish he caught were amazing in flavor with the small amounts of seasoning his mother could obtain. This is when he learned to cook. One season of fishing was an extreme success, Raka caught a surplus of fish. He managed to sell the extras to obtain a small amount of money. With this he purchased a set of leather armor. These were the tools that he used to train his wrestling skills. The start of his stealthy life. Raka would venture into the jungle to hunt, more sources of food for his family to dine on. Eventually Raka's intelligence enabled him to learn how to produce leather armor, albeit poor quality. He gained no blacksmithing experience through this. During his nations final stand he found no wisdom to fight. He felt he needed to escape, keep his species surviving and perhaps one day thriving. With these thoughts, he left the slaughter to continue his species survival. Character's ambitions: Raka's ambitions are that of survival, power, and rebuilding the Kha' nation. He wishes to survive in an attempt to see the day his people rebuild, and perhaps gain power in the process to gain the wealth he never had. With the Kha' once again a powerful nation, he feels that some day they will be able to regain control of Asulon, and appease Metztli once again. For these ambitions in which he wishes to obtain grasp of, he will go to any end, as ruthless as need be. _---Situational Rp Questions---_ 1. As you travel through the Karakatuan jungle, you spot a human trespassing on your nation's lands. He approaches you, obviously distressed, and asks for any food, water, or shelter that you can provide, then tells you that he has been lost in the area for days without any proper supplies. How do you react?: Raka stares at the man, his piercing eyes looking straight through him. This unnerves the man, causing him to shift. The man slowly backs away, but unsheathes his dagger, obviously willing to attack Raka if need be. Raka see's this as an act of aggression, and swiftly pounces to the man, punching the back side of the elbow of his arm holding the dagger. This breaks the mans arm, causing the yell in pain and drop the dagger. With the man distracted from the pain in his arm, Raka tries to land another blow on the mans face. A success, the man falls over dead. Raka then proceeds to search his body for usable scrap. 2. As you romp through the lands of the "apes", you come across a tavern. Inside this tavern, a Dwarf notices you and starts gawking at you, then begins to speak. "Oi! I gots a bowl of cream for you, Kitty! Ha! I'd bet you would make a nice throw rug, wouldn't ya, ya mangy furball?!" He continues act generally as racist as possible. What do you do?: Raka shrugs at the remarks of the dwarf and leaves the tavern, slightly annoyed by his remarks against the Kha'. He proceeds to make his way onto the taverns roof, silently and unseen. He waits until the dead of night, the time when the dwarf finally leaves the tavern. Raka stalks his prey for a few miles until finally, the two are alone. The dwarf sits on the gravel of a path towards what must be the town he is from. Raka thinks to himself "Such small filthy prey, tired after such a short journey. Such a pity." and runs to the dwarf, in an attempt to impale the dwarf in his skull. The dwarf turns, but its too late. Raka lands a fatal blow. 3. One of your fellow Kharajyr and a close friend of yours comes to your dwelling in the middle of the night and begins to pound on your door. After you let him in, he confesses to killing another Kharajyr over a slice of cake. What do you do in response? Raka shakes his head in pity. He realizes the delicacy that is cake, but he does not feel that justifies the murder of a fellow Kha'. Allies may be required to achieve his ambitions, but corruption in ones race is not a way to obtain power and unity. Raka uses his intelligence to persuade his friend to turn himself in to the Tlatlanni himself. One must remember that actions all have a consequence, good or bad. And you must be willing to accept what your fortune unfolds to you. Do you swear to follow the Tlatlanni and uphold his law, and do you swear to hold Metztli and all of her actions as sacred? I, Raka, Kha' Pantera, Hunter of the Night, swear to follow the Tlatlanni and uphold his law and swear to hold Metztli and all her actions as sacred.
