  1. Kyhahahah                            Let us go, we are done here,

Kill him of course                                             Your order is nothing without Alatariel

Show me the strength of this plane!                      Shar...                         Shar Azardul....

Surprisingly fast...                                                     Shar Azardul....        I see the darkness...

    Release them.

Within the Order of the Golden Lion's keep Aeolus of Khamees stood staring at the waterfall. His sight blurred, the illuminated white hall vanishing, replaced by flickering shadows that danced around his mentor, sapphire mist keeping them at bay. She said not a word, gave no indication of life, akin to stone.

He paced...paced across the blank slate of his mind space, only occasionally looking to the statue. "What would you have done differently?" But there came no reply.

He neared the unmoving Alatariel. "Is this what it means to be a Keeper? I cannot will you to be as you were in life here? Is that why you don't answer?" Still, there was no response.

Around the darkened space the scene of An Gho's abduction played out. Necromancers held the azdrazi off from descending, darkstalkers hacked into his flesh. Aeolus entered...and loosed the Daybreak Spear, striking one, but the lich escaped.

He stood in front of the statue, measuring his worth against its own. Silver mist sparked to life from the Keeper's shape and the Azdrazi's cave and fight vanished. They were on a mountainside, above a waterfall, a centurion stood in front of him and Alatariel fell from sight. In a flash the spear was raised, plunging deep into Aeolus' chest, viscera and bone spewing forth, the water below turning crimson. The paladin looked up, to see the centurion again, but his face was replaced by the statuesque form of the An-Gho. The bells of Tor-Azdroth sang overhead, his mindscape filled with ash. He looked down, a taloned hand held his still beating heart, crushing it. A voice, the helmet of the centurion loomed over him:

    "You reek of the dragonkin."

The paladin awoke, gasping for air, drenched in sweat. He doubled over but nothing escaped his stomach.

It was all in his mind, wasn't it?

What magic(s) will you be teaching?

             Paladinism

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

Paladinism is the name given to the deific magic of the Aengul, Xan. It is a three-slot magic, requiring a valid MA to roleplay and a valid TA to teach. There are three aesthetic colors the mist may appear as: Gold, Silver, and green. During connection and disconnection the paladins involved will have sapphire mist temporarily. The exhaustion system used is known as ‘embers’, with each spell costing a varied amount. From tier 1 to tier 5 a paladin will have in order: 4, 6, 8, 10, and 14 embers respectively. Once the halfway mark of their embers has been reached a paladin will begin to suffer crippling exhaustion until combat has ended and their embers regenerate.

Paladins, while strong against those Xan deem wicked, have one notable weakness: The void. The void, being the antithesis of creation, destroys and weakens a paladin’s power. Xannic fervour and vindicator’s mantle can be outright destroyed, should it be directly hit by voidal magic for more than three emotes. Guardian’s bulwark is also affected, with voidal projectiles counting as physical strikes. Atronach spells will be doubled in the prior terms defined.

Xan has several creeds that must be adhered to, though disconnection is chaos and even those who follow all creeds may find themselves on the receiving end of other paladin’s fury. These range from a demand to not worship him as a god, to not trading paladin magic or gifts for personal gain, to a demand that paladins not aid darkspawn in their nefarious schemes.

Most paladins will begin as an initiate, unembered, and under the supervision of a mentor to ensure they will be a worthy paladin. Trials are conducted in most cases, flavored and varied depending on the group and teacher’s preference. Once the tasks are done or not humored, mentor and student will descend into the chancery, where the student will undergo various aesthetic connection routes depending on their mentor, and be ordained, their soul ignited by Xan’s embers.

There are several basic spells all paladins are capable of casting so long as they have been taught, are at the required tier to use, and have the embers left to cast it: Xannic fervour, mist healing, xannic armaments, sunlit salvo, and lion’s roar. Some spells, such as sunlit salvo and lion’s roar will have differing aesthetics depending on the secondary path taken (Vindicator or Wyrmstalker).

At tier three, after completing a trial to prove their worth, a student will be taken into the chancery by their mentor and ordained once more as a vindicator or wyrmstalker. Wyrmstalkers are capable of manifesting ranged weaponry, creating traps, or even leaping back at a rapid pace to avoid being struck. Vindicators are more melee-based, capable of creating shields, summoning melee weapons, and even flooding a darkspawn with xannic mist, burning them and causing enough pain that, should the grasp be held long enough, they will be left unconscious or too wounded to continue fighting.

At tier four a paladin may, once taught connection, begin embering their own student, though a tier four will only have one slot available.

At tier five they may be taught disconnection, a prerequisite for chancery creation.

At tier three, as well, a paladin may begin to learn Xannic enchanting, learning various blessings. At tier four they will learn orisions or enchants which are more powerful but require a lightstone to utilize, and may even create MArts.

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

All paladins are the same, save for their chosen mist color (gold, silver, or green) until t3, at which point they will undergo a trial and ritual to become either a Vindicator or a Wyrmstalker. Wyrmstalkers will have their mist change to a static or erratic based aesthetic while Vindicator’s mist will take on more of an at-peace flair. Beyond that, outside of the spells each bears, there is little difference between the two types of paladin.

Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

Aeolus of Khamees’ golden, glowing eyes, studied the field for several heartbeats. Golden static twitched across his right arm, down to his outstretched palm, and began to condense down, solidifying into a golden bow within his grasp.

Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?

“Today you’ll learn how to cast sunlit salvo, are you familiar with the spell?” Aeolus asked.

The student shook their head. “Only in passing.”

“”You’ll connect to your mist to begin. To use Sunlit Salvo you must be in direct combat and not be struck. At the start of your cast, you will send your mist to your weapon, then you will begin condensing it into the tip, and finally you will send the mist outward from your weapon in a strike against the opponent.”

    “What does it do?”

“A Wyrmstalker’s sunlit salvo will knock the darkspawn back, for vindicators it will scorch the skin, burning it severely.”

“What if the darkspawn is armored against the vindicator?”

“Then it’s better to not waste your embers.”

Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

I punch them in the face and tell the ST to salt their crops.

In reality I review what we roleplayed, talk to them about what they did wrong/what misunderstanding they had, and go from there. If they continue to not follow redlines/roleplay standards I let ST handle them and remove them from my TA.

What magic(s) will you be teaching?

             Tawkin

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

Tawkin is the esoteric addition to advanced alchemy. Centered around creation, its focus is on life and the bastardization of it. Those with knowledge of tawkin are capable of regrowing appendages, mutating bodies, growing new bodies for the living, and even creating new false life beings known as homunculi.

Requirements to perform this feat are as follows: The character in question must have an accepted base alchemy FA and have reached the final tier of that. The character must then find a teacher in roleplay with an accepted TA, post their FA, and be accepted. To utilize a part of this feat you must first be taught it, no part will be innate.

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

Tawkin as a feat has several core features:

    Homunculi:

(Requires a valid CA to play)

Akin to Frankenstein’s monster, likely inspired by it even, homunculi are created by gathering the various parts of corpses and binding them together before the specific solution of symbols are combined and poured into the being.

Composed of body parts, a homunculi may take any form within reason, so long as it adheres to the generic standards of descendant size, appearance, intelligence, and physical ability depending on which race it was most shaped after. The main tell of a Homunculi will be its eyes. Bearing no soul, a homunculi will have a glassiness to its gaze alongside a silver or golden hue.

Beyond these things, the sky's the limit for a homunculi, so long as the alchemist can be innovative. Feathers, fur, other aesthetics far removed from a normal descendant can be applied, mutations and add-ons related to tawkin will be easily accepted as well, the pain and recovery time a fraction of that when compared to a descendant (one day of adapting as opposed to normal, non-vessel, descendants three days).

Lacking a soul they are unable to learn magic and the voidal arts will have a significant impact on them. Anything that would normally kill a descendant will be fatal to a homunculi too. Beyond this, a Juliet potion may be used to permanently kill a homunculi.

    Kloning:

Death is not always the end. Those with tawkin who learn how to clone themselves know this well enough. By using Bodgan’s clay, a tawkin alchemist with the know-how is capable of creating a pygmy that, when given a descendant’s biles, blood, and phlegm and left to grow with the Vitae of Rebirth in a tube undisturbed for 3 to 6 weeks (depending on whether or not swiftness and vigor were added). Any disturbance to this container, any contamination, will lead to the pygmy not growing as it should and failing to fully form.

Mutations, grafts, altered ages, hair, et cetera allows for the alchemist to make the clone as they see fit, so long as it follows the basic standard for a descendant. If the descendant attached to the clone were to die from the fourth to the fifth week an alchemist must roll to see if the pygmy would have defects, as well as the severity should they roll for any. Clones inhabited that were sped up with the aforementioned symbols must also roll for defects, which range from minor to critical. Minor defects include different hair colors, freckles, etc, essentially harmless defects. Lesser includes slight shifts to muscles, noticeable deformities such as scales or misshapen fat, etc. Major begin to affect the function of the vessel to a more unbearable degree, albinism, deafness, minor issues with processing color, and various genetic diseases. Lastly, critical defects which range from weakness of the body to respiratory issues, tumors, cancer, things that may not outright kill but will lead to an early death.

If the vessel is deformed, or if the alchemist simply wishes to shift from one to the next, they may drink a Juliet’s Potion. It will kill the body they currently inhabit and the soul will go to the next. If no body exists they will be PKd. If the alchemist destroys their current body to escape conflict they will PK. If an alchemist dies while knowing cloning and has no body to transfer to, they will also be PKd as the monks will refuse to revive those who circumvent death outside of the monk’s own power.

    Transmutation:

There are several sections to transmutations:

Moulder’s tincture allows the alchemist to mould a living organism’s flesh as though it were clay, enabling the alteration of a body within limits (and nothing as advanced as what mutations are capable of). Moulded flesh will settle over a few narrative hours and if done incorrectly will lead to the disfigurement of the one it was practiced on. A severe blow within the first IRL day will lead to the moulded flesh becoming notably deformed permanently.

Grafting, which is the source of Bodgan’s clay which was mentioned earlier, is used to repair, maintain, and modify the body. It can be used akin to a scab to seal over a wound, replace limbs, and other organs of the body within some reason. Hearts and other vital regions cannot be grafted. Depending on the changes made with a graft and the size, complexity etc, adjustment to the attached clay will take anywhere from a few IRL days (a finger) to an entire week (an arm/leg/eye).

Mutations range from lesser, which includes physical changes such as skin, hair, eye color, slight modifications to body composition, webbed toes, et cetera to common mutations such as healthy body, augmented senses, etc, as well as MArt mutations, such as the ability to change appearance at will. A descendant may have a maximum of two major  mutations at once, unless otherwise noted as with some MArt mutations. Lesser mutations will be recovered from with minimal hassle, while a descendant being injected with a major mutation will take three days to recover unless they are a clone vessel, in which case it will take one IRL day to adapt. Mutations may also be extracted, though to some detriment as the descendant must learn to live without what has become ‘part’ of them.

Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

Aeolus of Khamees retrieves the four vials from the descendant, both biles, blood, and phlegm. Looking them over he’d ensure each container had enough of the fluid before departing to the lab, setting them on the table beside him. He’d retrieve wooden bowls, filled with pre-prepared symbols: Two earth, four life, five connection, four growth, three endurance, and one grace. Combining these into one bowl, he’d pour them into a container of lard, mixing it well, and finally kneading it into a pygmy.

Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?

Aeolus of Khamees’ glowing golden gaze settles on the student across from him. With a singular glance upward to the stairs, he’d finally respond There are things we were never meant to know, yet here we are. Combine the symbols I’ve given you and place them in the lard, shape the clay, and then place it into a container of clay and let no one disturb it.” He’d gesture for them to begin, adding as an afterthought. “And stay out of trouble until it’s fully grown.”

"Why?" Inquired the elf across from him as they mixed and kneaded the clay. "What are we making anyways?"

Aeolus of Khamees looked off to the staircase above once more. "Because if you were to die there'd be no recovering your soul, if the pygmy wasn't grown yet...and we're creating a second chance at life for you, should you die. Now- put the clay into a vase and add the liquid you created earlier, and tell no one, understood?"

Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

I punch them in the face and tell the ST to salt their crops.

  5. Spoiler

Paladins and people with access to the Order of the Golden Lion's library would be able to read the missive. Not others :3

There are multiple types of darkspawn: Descendants who corrupt their souls, amalgamations of flesh or soul that is repurposed for dark works, and that which is otherworldly. As Paladins of Xan we learn of these, how to combat them, how they are made when applicable, how to cure them when we are able. Most every Paladin will have had these lessons at some point in time.

What of mercy, what of redemption? How many Paladins are born to parents who led this life, how many Paladins seek to do good and live holy lives fighting that which offends their morals and mortality? Yet, how few are those who were once darkspawn that sought redemption among our ranks? Why are they few and why do those vampires we cure do the inevitable relapse into the communities that corrupted and tarnished their souls originally?

These are pointless questions. It is a descendant’s nature to seek: Power, love, comfort, safety, community, the list goes on and on. We, as Paladins, often fail those we seek to protect and those we love are often failed by us as partners, friends, and parents. The age old saying is that you may be a good Paladin or a good parent, you cannot be both. Xan’s cause is an important one, but it is also an all-consuming cause. We may not be required to worship him, yet we honor and obey him as a loyal knight serves a just king.

We serve one half of his title, Aengul of Guardianship and Order. We maintain Order by killing and hunting, we obey the creeds and aid no darkspawn. Yet do we guard the descendants? Do we comfort them when they suffer and struggle, do we treat those who are capable of redemption as normal descendants? Or do we scorn and shame them, thereby forcing them further into hiding among those who exalt the dark.

Too often do the tales of Paladin cruelty spread through the descendant realms. Of babies burned in carts during the Inferi invasion, of vampires staked outside and left to burn, anguish, and lament for hours before being cleansed. What self respecting or loving descendant would think highly of our cause after being forced to experience those turmoils, and that’s without considering their families. The way Paladins treat and redeem the darkspawn who can be saved needs to change. We cannot save all, and putting undo trust in those who will betray is foolish, but they are set up for failure from the start.

The proposal to oust and scorn and massacre darkspawn and those who live on the edge of society has been suggested by plenty, especially those outside of the keep. What does massacring the innocent, those who will likely fall down a path of dark, achieve except to force them further into shame, hatred, and dark arts. Nephilim and other evils of this world often reach out to those on the cusp of society, those rejected who wish to shine and rise to something acknowledgeable. The way we treat these descendants must change for the better. We already fight an uphill battle against immortal beings, gloating that we continue to wage our wars in the afterlife. Why must we make it harder to do for those who will come after us once our candles are lit and the prayers with our names forgotten?

Reconsider the treatment of those at the frayed edges of society. Welcome them, nurture the good in them, and know if they turn on you that it was their choice, not the action of all other descendants. Redemption is as much the Lion's vision as the slaughter of evil and protection of the innocent are.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Azdrazi are a semi-old descendant derived soul transformed creature that have existed on LotC for several years now, though in lore they are claimed to have existed since and pacted with the original king of mankind, Horen.. Historically in lore they are the ‘children’ of Azdromoth, usually heralds that bore his draan and proved themselves worthy of attaining a draconic form, thrown into fire with a wardren as a descendant and returning from it clad in scales with horns and reptilian eyes.

Supposedly the protectors of humanity by way of this Horenic pact, they have often worked against the humans, the Ibleesian curse on Azdromoth himself likely a corroding factor in their own mental state, factored alongside the despair that occurs in a life lived near immortal unless betrayed by their own siblings (severance) or their mind and turned to stone willingly or unwillingly, or if Azdromoth himself decides to sever their draconic soul.

An azdrazi’s journey starts with the tasks assigned to them and held within a sphere or cube of steel, known as a wardren. The power of blood can be seen in influence, even here, as the power of this object is given by shedding the descendant’s blood alongside their teacher’s. Because of the rebirth they go through in fire and flame, an azdrazi has what is known as an Inner Flame. While an azdrazi has blood, as all other living things do, their magical abilities are channeled similar to most other deific magics, limited by how many units of inner flame the azdrazi in question bears.

As time passes in combat and they call upon this source of their magical flame they will begin to feel steadily more exhausted, beginning at six units with a slightly out of breath sensation, down to being unable to move at all at eleven units used. The inner flame cannot regenerate in combat and they are unable to learn slotted magics, though they are able to comprehend and utilize both basic and advanced alchemy, though parts of it are impossible to utilize on themselves due to the nature of a draconic soul.

While, in a sense, immortal unless what was mentioned above occurs, they are still capable of temporarily dying, especially if their heart is pierced or they are beheaded. When this occurs, if a drakeshrine exists in the world for them they will respawn there, else at cloud temple. Though they are unable to utilize any of their inner flame for four days after as they recover, they are able to walk around and exist in their draconic form. Suicide is still a PK and PVP deaths when the nephilim calls for pvp will count towards the drakeshrine mechanic.

They, as all reptilians, are weak to the cold, as with all darkspawn, they are weak to Xannic mist, and necrotic plague will rapidly affect them, more-so than a normal descendant. Thanhium and Xannic mist are capabel of removing their polymorph, frost magic will drain their Inner Flame (down to one at most), and Azhl will affect them the same as it would a normal descendant.

Magical beings, they have multiple spells at their disposal, both passive and combative, some akin to that which they would have learned as an ordained herald, such as Enwreathe where they cast fire over their weapon over the course of two emotes or the ability to speak draconic, though it should be noted that they are capable of fluid speech in both high and low draconic, whereas all heralds are capable only of guttural, rough low draconic, and for only a few sentences before their vocal cords would be too harmed to speak for a while.

Beyond the abilities that all azdrazi have, there are several that can be chosen from and never changed, but only two from the list can be chosen per nephilim. They have their benefits and downfalls, such as Primordial Descent which allows them to grow stronger and larger, up to orcish strength at most. They may grow wings in this form but they cannot use them to fly, and while in their draconic state they will be unable to speak anything but Draconic, nor to understand anything but draconic. Other spells include: Emboldened strength which builds up over two emotes once connected, giving their next four hits increased strength at the cost of two units of dragon’s flame. Cindering ward, a magical tower shield which physical blows will pass through with ease but specific magical attacks will be halted. The last is imbued roar, capable of granting those who hear the words spoken from it will be blessed or cursed by the draconic terms, though it can be cast without words utilized, allowing a loud roar that causes no harm to be cast.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

An abomination in truth, an azdrazi grows up to a foot taller than their original height, breaking the 6’6 limit for descendants quite often. Over time they will grow more draconic in nature usually, with three tiers to this granting one feature per tier. Each tier lasts four weeks and these aesthetic differences range from more horns to longer talons, or even colorful Dragonsflame that ranges between yellow and red, though none of these give any combative advantage, they are merely aesthetic and flair for roleplay purposes.

In draconic form an azdrazi can vary from red to black, even grey scales are possible. They will all have horns and talons, other things reminiscent of a reptile or dragon- though never nearing the size or power of one.

    Explanation

I am sick of the player Gloonkey harassing me. This started way back last map in Celia'nor when I logged off to go to bed during rp that wasn't serious. It was just a discussion about various languages and elven irp and it was late. He proceeded to DM my partner about me logging off, assuming they were me. I asked him to not bother them about me in the future and he's been obsessed and hateful and insulting towards me ever since. Today he decided to mention me and my relationship in OOC. when I called him out he called me a narcassist. When I asked him to stop bothering/talking about me today he doubled down and tried to claim I was told not to interact with him, its a two way street and always has been. I'm tired of his harassment, I'm tired of him being obsessed with me. I just frankly want him to leave me alone. I don't give a shit if he's friends with 60th, I want Gloonkey to stop bothering me and I feel like moderation making an official verdict is going to be the only option there.

  12. "Cute excuse to be absolute ******* about yet another war. You come as crows? No, you cower like chickens..." Muses a particular white haired 'Thill as he sets about brewing the next batch of potions. With a shake of his head, his attention turns from the cowardice of Haense, back to the protection of Adria.

    [!]

On noticeboards, walls, windowsills, doorsteps - a missive was left.

    To those who would steal the tome of the Prophet from Tor-Azdroth;

You've a day to return the book. No punishment will be exacted upon you - IF you return the book.

I hope, whoever you are, that have no ill-will. Promptly give back the book, and learn the lesson - not all things of mystery are to be retrieved, examined upon. Permit this book to collect dust.

However, if you intend to keep the book despite our warning, know this; you steal from the dead. You desecrate a memorial, a place of solemn remembrance. This injustice will not go unchecked, whether it take a day, a year, or a millenia. We will punish you for this sin. I serve to protect the Descendants, but for you, thief - I will break my oath.

This is a warning. Heed it.

    Return the Book.

[!] A note was left below the missive:

You have no one to back this claim of 'we'. I will find you. You will die screaming. I will avenge them. The book will remain lost to you forever.

    "Prophet of flame.."

An elf pondered over a stone idol.

"Even in Sleep, you command us."

Elsewhere, a one-eyed elf of brown hair and blue eyes cold sweats. He shivers and shakes, murmuring often of the baleful eye, of pillars beneath soil, and of a darkness to come. Silenced only by the wroth of that which he served, whispers turning to stillness, a loneliness of sound quelled only by the dripping of blood from his now broken nose.

    "No riddles."

The son of a Dorfer would be confused... "When did the town kill priests?" He would ask himself whilst reading the missive.

A once young farming girl of Arichsdorf, now an old, tired woman, knits by the fire. Her grandson, unrelated to the other Dorfers of yore, somehow manages to read the newest missive to her. She'd stop mid stitch, the rocking of her chair, rhythmic in its creaking slows, then stops all together.

"What'd yew say?" She'd ask, wondering if perhaps her hearing had finally left her.

"They claimin' yous all killed priests in Arichsdorf granny."

"Dumbass." Tutted the older woman, frailed by the decades as she continued to knit. The fire crackled, shadows danced along the stone walls. "This boy claims to be Jrent does he? Bastard house, full of mentally ill products of incest. They married brother to sister, did you know that? Nasty people, those Horens, not like our good Manfred and Laurentina. This boy, Cassius or what have you, must've gotten in one of the old Moon Rock stashes still hidden in town." She'd say decidedly.

    "Caius, granny." Corrected the boy.

"I said what I said. Dorfers don't forget." She'd scold, pushing herself up from the chair, knitting cast aside. "...Dorfers don't forget." She'd echo a moment later.

"But m'sweater." He'd protest, looking to the discarded wool.

"Can wait. We don't take insults from little men wit' pens an' paper for weapons." Alice retorts at last, pulling away the tapestry that concealed the bee shrine, and, more importantly, her old set of chainmail.

If he were not stone, the An-Gho would have shown Nehtamo a variety of letters addressed to himself by a number of princes and officials of excellent repute. In the end, the crime of association was made by most. In the end, his race was so turned into the political smear of noble feuds who jabbed soiled fingers at each other to wash their own. In the end it did not matter; all cared so much for their own sake. And how could memory and ethic but fail an imperfect body, soul, and mind the likes of the descendant? Only the Lectors had stayed true. And for that the An-Gho respected them - and hoped them well rewarded amidst saint and ancestor.

But the An-Gho was stone - and so was his expression. Stone knew the hipocrisy of the race of Men from ages bygone; it was not moved by the notion, but held it to its heart and for that was mightier and unchanging. The World remembered a trial given to a seeker of flame; « Break this stone. » and it laughed by sighing wind through the branches of old oaks.

The three eyed visionary, reborn twice: First as Gamling, then as An Gho, with his flesh and scales now turned to stone, unforgotten as he was, could not give this insight. Yet, somehow, through some unspoken magic, some wavelength of understanding the two had shared, Nehtamo knew well what he would have been shown, of what he would be told. "Even the ash is worthy of reverence." He'd murmur, smothering his campfire for the night. Unlike the An Gho, his slumber would be dreamless, dreary, grey.

  17. Left leg crossed over and atop the right, a 'Thill of white hair and blue eyes would hear of the pontifical missive, the excommunication of the duke whose land he lived on. "To the An-Gho, I hope this letter finds you in good health..." He'd ponder, contemplating a very particular letter a certain man of ecclesiastical cloth had wrote. "Now I come to you seeking an audience in a place belonging to your kin. I hope to hear from you again..." He'd recite the words written and well preserved on paper.

"Don't you think it's odd..." He'd finally ask the alchemist he served under, once they were far from prying ears and eyes. "How valah always seek to pact with Azdrazi in secret and condemn them in public?"

if something doesn't work, it should have an actual reason as to why. not just "i don't like that it's this way so i want it to not be this way"

how many of these people have kani and/or have actually read and understood the lore?

It doesn't make sense to be able to bind something to your soul and call it at will if you can't physically carry it and channel kani too.

    As for your other point
