  1. From the sunny fields of Valles, a young messenger boy was seen dashing through the rigid alleys of the Viscounty. He entered a straw hut rudely awakening the weary tenant, "Lord Markov, urgent news!" Markov awoke from his sleep, his eyes slowly adjusting to the frantic atmosphere, "What is it?" The boy handed over the missive. Markov eyed through the missive, gesturing over to the boy, "Grab my horse, we mourn for my dear cousin. May Godan strike down the heathen who committed such a heinous crime."

  2. The young man of Kralta would look at the proclamation, sitting on the streets of Providence next to Steffan Himmel, he would remark looking to the revived crusader "It's time." Himmel peered up to the young man's remark, "For what?" he inquired.

    He would not know..

  3.

The streets of Providence were soaked by the sun and it's radiant lights, yet the gossip was overshadowed by the recent crimes and calamities that have befallen the Orenian people. The Chief Comissioner of the Ministry of Justice, Avner Dayan a native Adunian from Redenford sat in his office watching the burnt buildings, and carriages from a far. Taking a puff from his cigarette he would begin to write down on a piece of parchment,

"Another day, another bombing, fire, murder, a nonstop influx of crime that seems to be unstoppable. The Solicitor General, William Aubert, has asked me to become his new Chief Commissioner under the impression that I will make fearless inspectors out of his employees. I found the request to be rather fitting. Many techniques I have learned during my life as a man of the Intelligence Service that could be put to use when it concerns these criminals. The days of the tasteless detective uselessly interrogating conniving and craven criminals are over.

As I was always taught leaving a 'paper trail' is essential in our business, so one might refer to this letter as such. Beyond such introduction I find it important before making my evidence hopefully public, to outline and preface the fundamental issues that have be-ridden our people. Why in my sound opinion our criminals do what they do and why we as a ministry are unable to deal with such.

    1. The Stahl-Elendil ministry. I do not hold in contempt Jonah as he is a close friend though there is much to blame him in the weakness of our legal system and specifically our ministry. There was clear enablement or even ignorance when it concerned organized crime. The appointment or Ser Trilian to the position of Solicitor General practically turned the ministry handicapped and incapable of dealing with criminals. The fearlessness and ingenuity displayed by former heads of the ministry such as the late Joseph Adler, or Farooq Grey became overshadowed by incompetence and inability

    2. Procedure. A man of the law is a man of the law, he shouldn't waltz with the ORC when dealing with absolute degenerates, if you lack evidence to prove a feeling that is based on some minimal amount of evidence, a detective should do whatever he can to support such evidence or else it becomes a tiring matter and quickly discarded. I did not have any problem to poison criminals to divulge information, nor did I have any problem acting under the guise of a related criminal organization to receive information either, and I am quite glad to inform all that it can work quite well.

    3. Criminals take no risk. This is the main and most important reason behind all of this. Since the days of Ser Trilian we have enabled our criminals to engage in crime and receive no repercussion for such. That is the difference between us and them, we fear the consequences they do not. The day the criminals proved to be more fearless than our lawman is the day they won against us. My vision is to make my inspectors into true men who do not fear the consequences and who will not stop at nothing until the criminals are off the streets.

I am sad to say this addmittedly though, with all hope and sound mind, that I believe it is far too late. After a visit to Dobrov, Ostromir Carrion who was quite a nice man offered to change my appearance if I were to kill the high pontiff. How many criminals have underwent such procedure under Lord Carrion? Let alone the Falcones who's last assassination attempt on Edward Napier included the cooperation of a now deceased ISA captain who was to carry out the deed.

Criminals today are well connected, well trained, and pertain certain talents such as alchemy or even magic, that our lawmen do not. This is a difficult feet and the monster has grown far beyond our reach.

It may be too late yes, but I believe that with this new ethos and vision our lawmen may yet succeed in taking down these criminals and see just how far the thread has gone. The mistakes made in the past may yet still be remedied. Our constulbary shall be strong and the criminals will rue the day they chose to engage in foolish actions that endanger themselves and others.

I have been told by my close friend Ricky O'rourke who helped me build the moshav in Redenford, that Falcone went under the radar yet I am not entirely convinced. I spoke with Aubert about a possible raid on their residence on Swint Street, yet if the house is empty it is no use. I plan on visiting later today to find any evidence that maybe useful.

It is an odd predicament, I spoke to Roi Zeid yesterday, since I've left Redenford he claimed that the land has become barren, and that the river between Hadar and the Browlic is no longer blue, but a sickening green color. Out of guilt I decided to return home to work the fields as I did when I was younger, we sat and ate poike, me Roi and John Napier. They asked me what stands behind this conviction to constantly pursue these criminals? I simply claimed that to me every field is barren or every river is green when we stand idle to injustice.

  4. Walking through the brisk haeseni winds, the young man and the recently revived crusader, Stefan Himmel, stopped on the curb to rest by the fire. The crusader held his frigid hands against the warm fire, muttering under his breath, “I still don’t know what is happening.”

The young boy remained silent, sitting down, his arms wrapping his knees, gaze staring at the fire, unhinged by its flames. The crusader growled and exclaimed, “Creator help us all! I am going mad with you as my company!”

The boy looked up, his cold stare fixated upon the crusader, “Karosgrad was no coincidence.” The crusader interrupted, “Yet we did nothing to help.” The boy looked back to the fire, stating coldly, “You weren’t ready.” The boy rises up pointing north, “It’s this way to providence.” The crusader looked at the boy with his brow raised, “What’s in providence?” The boy chuckled, “The evaradine college, they are the only ones who can help us.”

  5.

As the crowd initially gathered in Karosgrad for the monumental diet, the recently revived and beautified crusader, Ser Stefan Himmel, viewed from a dusty and abandoned loft in the Haeseni capital. Holding against his finger the ragged curtain, he looked down upon the gathering, his face void of any expression.

Behind him the young man who recently revived him began assembling a certain relic, the crusader looked to the boy, inquiring, "Why are we here.." the boy chuckled continuing to fidget about with the materials, "There's always a purpose." the crusader moved over to the boy, "I am revived by a boy who claims to be of Kralta, only to be dragged to squat in this frigid place?" The boy looked at him frustratingly, placing down his materials, "Anymore complaints?"

The crusader sighed moving back to the window, he would look from the window again remarking, "Something's happening down there." the boy sighed pushing together two metal bars, twisting them together, "I know."

At the very instant the weapon was assembled, a large explosion erupted in the cathedral, causing Himmel to fall on the ground, "Creator help me!" the boy walks over, staff in hand offering Himmel an arm, "Get up, there's much to be done."

From the ctypts of selm, back in Arcas, lied down William Barrow also known as Branaford IV, his lifeless visage strewn about the muddy floor. A young boy stumbles across the body, pinching his nose from the stench, he would move away the lifeless goon. He would glare upon the statue, admiring its might he brings it with him to Almaris. The statue was placed on Selm street in an alley next to Chamberlain street.

Morning came and the young boy heard of the news of the death of empress Anne he came immediately to the statue of Steffan Himmel, his tears falling upon the stone eyelids of the famed crusader. The boy felt a warm touch instead of cold stone, and saw the famed crusader turned back to life. The crusader asked the boy, "Where are you from?" The boy reponded muttering, "Kralta."

  12. Giancarlo stands before the people, clearing his throat,

I am Giancarlo Gradic II, the youngest son of Ratko Gradic, I carry through my family name the competence and ingenuity that each man  in my bloodline possess. My desire for statesmanship and deep passion of the law  began at the ripe age of 15 when I  began volunteering for the poor, having roamed through the bustling streets of Helena and through the brisk autumn winds of Haense, gathering as many supplies as needed for the people. Through my  journey I saw the hardships of my fellow citizens and decided to become a barrister taking only minimal pay for my work, knowing what was right for the Orenian citizens. I see it as my solemn duty and utmost pleasure to be honored with such a responsibility. Thank you.

It was a weak frown that was forced upon Branaford IV’s face when he heard of the death of his dear companion Simon Basrid. He knew that in his final year of life he had to fulfill the final vow and task that was bestowed upon his frail being. Waking up from the concrete in Helena from a rude and awfully ugly pedestrian, Branaford IV rubbed his eyes with his dirty and smelly hands gazing at the urban sprawl of Helena, and of course at the unattractive man who woke him up. He reaches into his pocket, spreading across his palm a small map leading to Selm. As he arrives in Selm he follows the path to a dark tunnel bellow the crypts of the city. Once inside, Branaford fell to his knees, a tear falling down his face. He has found what he has been looking for, he could finally fulfill the task that was given to him. The statue of Steffan Himmel the renowned and beautified crusader who was tragically turned to stone during the crusades of the Tarchary stood before Branaford. He walked close to the statue extending his arms onto the man who was turned to stone, pulling the stone’s temple onto his. Planting a small kiss onto the stone statue’s lips, Branaford fell to the ground having felt a crippling pain in his chest. He screamed in agony, “Is this not what you wanted?!” it appeared to the old and smelly man that it was not. “Is this all I lived for? To make a smelly pastry and kiss a statue!”  as he began to regretfully contemplate the nature of his pointless life, Branaford lied down and forced upon his face a smile. Having lived a shameful and pointless 150 years of life, Branaford IV, also known as William Barrow, had died in the crypt alongside the famed crusader.
