Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person!
What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is similar to acting in a play or movie, where in which one puts themself in another person's (often fictional) mind and acts, speaks, and thinks as they believe that character would.
What is metagaming?: Metagaming is when one uses information obtained out of character (when you aren't roleplaying as your character) and uses it in roleplay. This is often information that the character did not obtain themselves in roleplay, and so they shouldn't be able to know it. Essentially, metagaming is the use of information your character does not have access to.
What is powergaming?: Powergaming in roleplay is when someone attempts to control another character's actions in order to succeed in their own action.

Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don't contradict history.): Colel lived a normal live within the Karakatuan Empire. Her parents weren't particularly wealthy, but they did well for themselves, and Colel was granted the normal freedoms of childhood as all kittens were. As Colel grew into a cub, the pressure of The Trials began to weigh down on her. She was excited but...nervous at the same time. Her parents encouraged as much as they could though, and with the future in mind, Colel began to prepare for the trials as best she could. Colel spent her days practicing her crafting and hunting skills, slowly honing them to a point where, she hoped, would be good enough to pass the coming trials. At night, Colel would pray to Metztli, and offered what she could to the revered deity. For Colel, this was all the preparation she could do, until she came of the age 15, when her trials finally began.
Colel had practiced for years for the Trials of Maturity, and as the trial of crafting began, she couldn't help but smile to herself. With so much preparation, there was no way she could fail. Colel returned from the trial with a fine wooden flute, craved from a deep dark wood, and of which played beautifully in the hands of the musicians. She had passed her first trial, only to be met with the next. Colel's Trial of the Jungle, while it did not go as smoothly as the first, was a pass. With the resources granted to her by the jungle, she was able to create a weak balm that was just enough to please the Aelkos. During the Trial of survival, Colel passed when she returned from the jungle with a fine boar dragging behind her, the spear that had killed the beast still protruding from the creature's unmoving chest. At the Trial of Faith, Colel hesitated. While she knew she would be healed, such a sacrifice seemed great. But eventually, with a deep breath, and a whole lot of courage, Colel was able to complete the Trial of Faith. She was then met with the final trial, of which she never speaks of, but she is very grateful she passed all the same. At the end of the Trails of Maturity, Colel was given the title of So'Colel.
Now that So'Colel was considered an adult, she decided it was time to choose the path of which she would go down. She decided that she wished to travel and so, despite the protests of her family, So'Colel became a merchant of her people. She was given the new title of Ki'Colel to represent her new roll, and she quickly made off. While Ki'Colel wasn't the best of Merchants, she did well for herself, and she continued to sell her merchandise for several years.
