Rudolph strokes the ground lightly with his hoof. The other Reindeer have been horrid to him, and he's upset, he notices you approaching, and looks up. "Neigh!" He says in a miserable groan, his nose a dark shade of red.
Saint Nicholas approaches his face grim. "Ah, I see you've met Rudolph here", he says whilst rubbing Rudolph on the head. "He's been having a hard time lately. The other Reindeer have made life difficult for him, because of his nose y'see... He needs something to cheer him up."
Saint Nicholas looks up at you, a small smile growing at the side of his mouth, "Rudolph enjoys a good read y'know... And you look like the type that'd be a fine writer, friend - why don't you try writing a little piece for him?".
Saint Nicholas continues on, and explains what he wants you to do.
Write a short piece (under 500 words) that involves Christmas. It can involve Rudolph, Saint Nicholas, Presents, Snowmen - anything, but it must be cheery. The piece must be posted in this thread by the 20th of December. The piece must be entirely your own work. The winner will be chosen by Rudolph on the 25th of December, and revealed the same day. The winner shall receive: one of Rudolph's special badges (once the award system is up), and perhaps a little bag of minas to spread the Christmas joy.
