  2. I feel like this is punishing those that have to take a hiatus or are gone for several days and can't maintain thier voting. Not to mention those with schooling and irl jobs to focus on. More chore than enjoyment.

  3. I definitely like this rewrite. There is one major thing I really want to see however and that's a section defining what types of corruption effect Azdrazi, how does it effect them, are there physical/mental changes, what happens if it's not removed, how is it removed, etc etc etc.

Corruption is always mentioned in each rewrite but never truly defined and it's confusing beyond measure on what actually is considered corruption.

Another question, how does thanium effect Azdrazi?

Other than that, I can't think of anything as it's way early in the morning.

MC Item description (the exact description that will be used for the MC item if this MArt is accepted):

An sequoia wood-carving idol in the shape of a bluejay. The body of it is painted with a variety of colors consisting of honorable blue, ivory, steely gray, tricorn black, and other shades. With Kulia dust mixed with the paint, it gives off a shimmering glow which corresponds with its respective color. Should a Druid hold this object, they will suddenly be aware of the deep Druidic energies that truly course throughout the idol. Though within the possession of one that knows the Druidic Art of Transcendence, its secret is unleashed. For when placed in a Fae Ring with the Druid in question, it will begin to give off an enchanting melody of a bluejay, calling upon a departed Druid(PK) to appear within the circle of mushrooms to converse/interact with.

    Effect(s) of the Artifact:

The artifact itself is simply an item used to be able to call a departed Druid(PK) to the Fae Ring to converse with for 2 irl hours. The departed Druid in question needs to be played by either an ST member(if non-player) or the character’s player(player character) in order to interact. Transcendence Feat is required for one to use this idol.

    Red Lines of the Artifact:

-If a non-player character is summoned, it must be played by a ST. If it's a player character, the player must play the character or give permission to have it played.

-Server rules apply. No knowledge of how the Druid died can be obtained from the departed Druid in question.

-Up to two irl hours can the interaction hold until the departed Druid returns to the Fae Realm.

-A Druid with Pale Blood Magic may use this item as they themselves are not traveling to the Fae Realm. Only calling from the Fae Ring with this item.

-If the departed Druid tries to leave the Fae Ring, their spirit form will immediately disperse and return to the Fae Realm.

-Once the summoning has occurred, the item cannot be used again for 1 irl month.

-One must know the Transcendence Feat in order to use this MArt.

-When using this MArt, this counts as using the ability of Transcendence itself. Thus the Druid using this item must also wait 1 irl month before using this MArt or preforming Transcendence.

-The departed Druid summoned cannot teach any subtypes or feats.

-As per server rules, You cannot interact with your character. Meaning, you cannot summon a previous character of yours to interact with your current.

-Summoned non-player Druids must have lore and history behind said character. (Do your job, ST :3 )

Explanation of the effect(s) (i.e. how it does what it does - slight bending of magic lore is allowed):

Over several centuries of studies upon the Fairy Ring, Moon cycles, Mani interactions and beacons, the Eternal Forest, and discovering a way to traverse between the realms of Mortal and Fae, the Owl Druid meditated, used her knowledge to infuse pure natural energies from herself  into this object, to hold an enchanting song that would call upon those departed brothers and sisters long since gone to come speak to those who seek them. This follows the same principles as a Mani Beacon, giving a focal point that may draw or have them hear the enchanting melody to move towards and appear within the Fairy Ring. However unlike the usual Mani Beacon, this MArt can only call upon departed Druids.

Number of duplicates of this Artifact:

             None, there is only one

Do you agree to keep the MT updated on the whereabouts and ownership of this Artifact by using the Magic List Errors?:

             Debatable (yes)

Have you applied for this Artifact before, and had it denied? If so, link the app:

If the issue is purely that it’s coming from an OOC place, a redline can be written that states something along he lines of a Kha’s fur cannot be bleached/dyed because it will fall out, or something similar.

This would definitely make more sense to me than just specifically stating one color.  As I said, it was just one color instead of them all that I found odd.

    Love you benbo ❤️

  6. @Wretched I think you are misunderstanding what some are saying. Lore wise of a kha not being born with white fur is really completely fine and understandable. There's nothing wrong with that. What many are saying here is that forcing a statement of 'you can't even dye fur the specific color white' is a bit in and of itself just flat unrealistic. Will ones ever do that? Probably not, but that's really for a character to ICly decide than placed in a lore redline. If some kha wants to constantly dye thier fur, that's on them and they have to deal with the consequences of their actions. Especially, as many point out here, it's not exactly a good thing to dye one's fur all the time without some negative effects going on. But when you look at this as well, it's odd even declaring one specific color at all when it should be really all colors and dyes in general if you want to step in that area.

That's really where I'm at least coming from. It just seems odd to me. And something that ICly people would handle.

  7. Thank God. Good kha lore.

My only thing is the firm 'no kha can dye thier fur white'. As if that's a pure lore restriction when it shouldn't be what so ever. Aesthetic changes like that aren't ever held or restricted in such a manner when it wouldn't make sense.  What's exactly preventing say someone dumping white paint or force dyeing a kha white? I would find it odd that it just magically wouldn't work.

The redline in question be best stated as if any kha attempts such, they be most likely shunned or killed given the cultural significance behind it. Rather than just saying it's not possible at all.
