  1. Asarielle steps out of her home. Her ears flickering before looking up, staring at the looming ruins over head. "Oh...dear. Better inform mother~" she would whisper softly. Her form then turning as she casually walks down the street towards the keep. Her arms folded behind her head as she hums softly.

What is a GM’s role in the community, and how would you see yourself fitting in it as a GM?:

A GM's role in the community is to help moderate and assist players.  They are there to help with events, oversee certain problems as they occur and help resolve arguments, and make sure everyone is following the rules.  I see myself fitting in as a GM because I wish to help others and help solve issues and problems that require GM intervention.  I am very familiar with the responsibilities involved. I was a moderator for over a year on Herocraft. I am also Menarra's wife and so I'm well aware of how things work for the staff on LotC.

Why are you applying to be a GM?:

-I have extensive previous staff experience as I spent over a year as a Moderator on Herocraft alongside Menarra. I am well aware of the responsibilities and I handle them well.

-I am a very unbiased voice, I don't care if I am affiliated with a person or group. I will evaluate them fairly and I have had no issues disciplining friends in the past, including passing a couple bans on friends of mine back on Herocraft.  I'm not afraid to voice my opinion and call someone out if I feel they are being unfair or abusing their position.

-I have been on the server since early Asulon and I have seen most of the changes the server and community have gone through, for better or worse, and I would like to help support this server that has given me so much fun RP over the years and give back to it, and help bring it back to a higher standard.

-I am (hopefully~) well respected in the groups I have been a part of on the server, I've made many friends and people seem to turn to me to help them with issues, be they IC or OOC, and I'm always happy to help them.

-I intend to work for the community to the best of my ability and work for the betterment of the server as a whole.

The most impactful GM’s the server has had have always done more than the basic duties of a Global Moderator. What aspects of LotC aside from universal GM duties would you be willing to delve into?:

-I would be interested in helping with events when the ET or another GM needs help with one, I find them fun.

-I am interested in lore development, and I help Menarra when he is brainstorming for lore and events, I'm helping him with his current Druid event planning.

-Once I'm settled in some, I would like to look into the Lore Team maybe or help ET with event building or acting. Some of the things Menarra chats with me about when he's doing loremags , plus several of my friends that are ET talk to me about with events sounds interesting and I would like to help.

What members of the staff and/or community could you look to for guidance of these additional responsibilities?:

-Menarra, he's been helping me a lot to prep me to join, having me give opinions on ban reports, and having me look through evidence with him when he's deciding on a punishment for somebody ingame, seeing what conclusions I make from it and talking me through his decision and why he would make it.

-Tsuyose, I know he just stepped down but for the past few weeks he's known I had an interest in joining the staff, and was showing me AT procedures and having me look over various Whitelist Apps with him and doing like Menarra, seeing what I think of them and asking if I would approve or deny them and why, and then explaining his decision on them and why.

-Birdwhisperer, I'm a Guide in the Druids and chat with Bird in the druid chat, and I don't know much about forum moderating so I would ask her to show me the ropes of what I would need to know about the forums and the basic moderator functions a GM needs to know.

-Timelord_lalve, I have started to know him more for the past several months due to RP and he has helped me with lore and facts on certain magics and making sure people are doing them correctly.

-ZeroMasterZx, Like Timelord_lalve, Zero has been helping me with certain magics and lore facts as well as making sure they are being used correctly.

What faults do you believe other members of the community see in you, and how do you intend to improve on these perceived faults, if necessary?:

I was banned once for cybering, and that was my only offense since I joined LotC.  This was years ago on Asulon, and the rules really weren't all that clear on the matter. It was in the rules but it was more of a side-note than anything and I had overlooked it, as had many other people apparently since I was among the first in a wave of almost a dozen people the same day or two when it happened. The one I cyber’d with was banned first and when I found out, I turned myself in to Freya and I accepted the punishment. I wanted to be honest about it and turned myself in before she had to come and find me. So I decided to accept my punishment and be honest and make my appeal. And after our banning, we talked to Freya for quite awhile and she realized that the rules regarding cybering needed to be stated more clearly, because so many people had been ban all at once, including us, who Freya believe honestly had no intention on breaking the rules. I did several appeals, some public and some private, and eventually got unbanned.  Other than that, I have not had any real complaints brought up to or about me that I can recall, I've made friends of most of the people I've met on LotC over the years and kept in touch with many of them, including ones that have left.

How much free time do you have? Will this change in the foreseeable future?:

I work mornings, usually from 6am to 2pm EST, after that I am fairly available and spend much of my time either on LotC or WoW, more LotC usually as there are many people who want to RP with me, plus I am a Druid Guide so I try to make myself available for Tasks, lessons, and questioning people who want to become Dedicants.  My availability shouldn't change at all really, maybe the occasional busy day but that's just like anyone else. I am still in college and will take time for homework as needed.

  3. I wished I would have known him earlier than I have. I have enjoyed both RPing with him and talking with him OOCly. He has good intensions for the server and wishes to actually get stuff done. I actully didn't realize he was 15 either due to the fact he is quite mature. +1 for me.

  4. Arinislia stands high up on a stretched out branch of the Father Tree. Her silver colored eyes gazing down upon the elven city of Laureh'lin. Her lips part as her hand grips her carved birch wood staff ever so slightly. "Children...." she would whisper, her voice angelic and soft though the tone sounding disappointed. Her face unreadable as she continue gazing down upon the city before slightly shaking her head. Her body turning slowly around before walking back down the branch. A faint hoot being heard high up in the leaves above her as a pure white owl takes flight, flying off to the south.

  5. Arinislia gracefully walks through the Frandria Forest. Her movement almost silent with each step as her silver colored eyes gaze ahead in a rather calm, emotionless way. Her form suddenly stops, feeling the very ground shake beneath her feet. Her ears flickering some as her eyes narrow and start to scan around the dense forest. The sound of some smaller trees snapping and birds suddenly spooked and flying away. She stands still for a few moments before moving quickly after whatever creature making those sounds. Before long, she comes to a halt, her eyes widening as she stares shock at the back of the giant creature moving towards it's den. Her face seemingly unreadable before she turns and swiftly moves towards the edge of the forest and up the hill, moving behind the Elven City, towards the druid grove to find her guide.

  6. I completely love this guide. Great job! I have done/seen many torture/killing RPs from great players and it can be a wonderful experiences. Just keep in mind that it's not just a hack and slash. Have fun with it, let your character toy with your victim's mind and body. You can do so many things than just stabbing them and taking thier stuff. ^_^
