In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character: Full Name: Safrill Tinuvriel Current Age: 55 Sub-race (if any): High Elf Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Safrill is a Mali’aheral born in the elven city of Lin'evaral. The reason his birth was unique was that he was born with a twin, Zaniil. Both were noted for their exact complexion, and their parents dressed them differently to tell each one apart. Safrill was known for his curiosity and creativity that would get him into trouble, as multiple times he and Zaniil would sneak out during the middle of the night to explore different locations in the deep forest. One time, they snuck out into the forest and encountered a sword. To them, it was unlike any other thing they had seen, built from the finest of dwarven craftmanship, not knowing it was from them though. They looked over and saw a dead body, presumably the man who carried the fine blade. They saw from the shadows another of elven kin approaching, with skin as dark as night itself, and deep red eyes like that of blood. They ran back home, only remembering the body of the figure looking at them. They would not dwelve back into the forest again until they were in their 20's. Safrill had become bored of the city, he was a grown adult and worked as a librarian, and desperately wanted to leave. His brother Zaniil, had also become bored, spending his days practicing with his bow, firing arrows into targets, and seeing how many he could make in a row. They had nothing to do, as they could not get high positions in society due to their age. They decided to leave unexpectedly, packed their bags with supplies and headed out, leaving a small letter behind to the citizens that helped raised them in the cithi. They had no idea where they were headed, only that there was an end to the deep forests they saw. Ambitions for the Future: They currently do not know, but they wish to obtain a higher position in society, or even run an inn. Personality: Safrill has a very bland personality, due to his HIgh-Elven nature, he seems serious at most moments. However, he has shown other emotions, albeit rarely. Skills: Writing and medicine, a skill that he takes pride in. He can also make clothes due to his expertise in needleworking. Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): http://imgur.com/9aX9j2b Any other details you wish to share about your character: None as of current. Open-Response-Questions Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point. ____ 1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react? Answer: Safrill walks through the forests, wandering around attempting to find a friend who told him to meet him there. He looks around, hearing the sounds of people talking, perhaps children. He walks towards the area where the voices are coming from slowly walking to make minimal noise. He sees a group of other children mocking a small elven child, bringing anger in him about it. He stands up, and with a stern tone says "Leave him alone and get out". The children turn around to see Safrill standing up looking down at him, gripping the sword on his left thigh, as if to gesture he'll use violence if not. Safrill slowly counts down "10, 9, 8.." tugging the blade from his scabbard by the number, looking at the children run away in fear. He puts his blade back in his scabbard, and walks to the small elven child asking "Is there a place you should be right now?" and "Do your parents know you're out here? The child says yes, and asks if he could take him home. Safrill smiles saying sure, and offers the child to ride on his back, with the child nodding, as he takes him back home. 2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do? Answer: Safrill walks through the forest, writing in his book about the local wildlife of the forest. As he closes his book, he sees an old man collapse infront of him, as he falls to the ground. He looks over and sees he holds a small fortune, with a bag of gold coins opening. He decides to help him, gathering all his coins and putting them in his bag, then sealing it shut. Then he helps the old man up asking "Are you alright, sir?" giving him his walking and bag back. The old man replies "Thank you, you are very kind." "No problem, please be more careful next time, you could have been robbed" Safrill replies. He then shakes his hand and continues on his way. 3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved). Answer: Walking through the forests, Safrill encounters a merchant caravan, hearing a man inviting him to see his items. Safrill looks at his selection, amazed at the his collection and asks for an offer "How much for that sil? Safrill asks, pointing at the specific item. "Aye, that? Tis' a blade of human-craft, rather reliable if you ask me" the merchant answers. "Ehh, I'll pay you 35 gold coins for it." Safrill replied. "Nah, 45 look at the scabbard! strong weaving, will never break for you! Safrill looked at the item carefully "40 coins, the scabbard isn't as good as other blades I've seen" Safrill said. "Well ya know, I guess yer' right, but for being my first customer of the day, I'll give ye' a better one for the same price" The merchant said. He then picked through the pile and laid out a few blades and said "Pick and choose." Safrill examined each one closely, and then looked at one that he could recognize. It was a dwarven blade, made much like the one he encoutered long ago. Extremelly durable and sharper than a dragon's tongue, he knew that was the one he wanted. "Give me that one" Safrill said and pointed to the blade. The merchant looked at him and said "Well then, here ya go." Safrill nodded and started walking back, anxious to give his brother a present he always wanted.
