Have you ever roleplayed before - if you have, how?: - I have spent years roleplaying on Habbo.com and Habbo.no. That was mostly mafia rp, but it is the same concept. We roleplayed in the chatbox like we do here on minecraft. I’ve also roleplayed on a few Minecraft servers, until they got closed.
Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: - I have, but it was not so long, so I can’t remember the name of them.
Have you applied to this server before?(Please link past applications): - No
How did you hear about us?: - I was googling on the internet for a good minecraft rp server. I got lucky and found this. I spent many hours reading about the server, and the lore. It was complicated at first, but it seems exiting to try it out.
What do you think the server will be like? – I hope it will be much roleplaying, where I can be a noble farmer near a town, trade with people and roleplay as much as possible. The other minecraft rp servers I’ve been on had little roleplay because few people was scatted around a huge map, and you never saw people. I hope this is not the case on this server.
Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Of course. Im here to roleplay, and there is never good roleplay without rules.
What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - You don't need to permanently kill your character when you die. However, if you commit suicide, your character is perma-killed. When you die, you simply go back to the Cloud Temple and forget all memory of the death. You can't go back to where you died for a full thirty minutes. If you perma-kill your character, you have a one week grace period in which you can return your character from the dead. After the one week is over, your character can no longer be brought back from the grave.
I think this is my favorite rule, sins it is often frustrating to have used a lot of time to make a good character, worked hard in the world , and then everything disappears because you die.
Definitions This is simply so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not another website / person's! What is roleplaying?: - roleplaying is to be able to create your own character the way you want it to be. You will be able to control the character the way you want it to be. Do what you want, say what you want. It is only the imagination that puts a limit, as long as you follow the rules of the game. It is not RPG, like Skyrim or Wow: Here we create the game ourselves, and the story is formed by our actions.
What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming in rp is when you mix OOC and IC. If you have information about something/someone OOC, you can’t bring that in to your character. For example if I read in the chat that someone wants to kill me, but I didn’t get to know it as the character, I am not allowed to avoid situations with the other player, or try to kill him, just because I know OOC what he wants to do to me. That ruins the roleplay. I have to be in character, and wait for either him to try to kill me, or to I get to know it IC.
What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is to be over powerd in the game. If I always tries to win what happends in the RP. That causes extremely bad RP, and is one of my favorites rules. For example if I get in a combat with another person, and I say *throws a knife in the head of XXX* that is bad rp and powergaming, sins I am over powered. I must say something like *aims at XXX head, and throws the knife in that direction* Then the other player have a chance to react, to create good RP. He can then go down, or get hit. Depends on how he roleplays.

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Henrik Olsen’s mother and father, Helga Olsen and Torvald Olsen, were both Northerners, but moved far away from Anthos when they where young. Henrik was born in the land of Bergsdal. Here he grew up on the family’s farm, located in the steap mountainside of the Berg fjord. The climate was harsh, but as Northerners then where evolved to live in these areas. He is used to work hard, from sunrise to sunset. He was the oldest son of his parents and was therefore the one to take over the family farm when he grew up. He married a woman named Maria, and together they got two sons. At the age of 94 and 96, his parents died. First his father, and then his mother. He continued the life on the farm as before. But only a few years later, his wife Maria got sick and died. This was a tough time for Henrik, and he got separated from the rest of the society for a while. Both of his sons grew up, but neither of them wanted to take over the farm. They both took job on a trading ship, because they wanted to see the world. Henrik, who did not like the idea at all, tried his best to avoid it. But it was no good. It all ended with a huge fight, where they all became angry at each other. They both sat sail on the same ship, and Henrik was left alone up in the mountainside. He continued living on the farm a few years longer, but got worried when he stopped getting letters from his sons. The last one he recived was from Anthos, and that was one year ago. He sold the family farm and bought a ticket for a ship sailing for Anthos. As most humans, he has a close dwarf friend, Dwgin. He already moved to Anthos a few years ago, and when Henrik whent to Anthos, Dwgin promised to help him find his sons. Henrik is now looking for land to start up his new farm, to get income so he can start an expedition to find his lost sons.
What are they like (personality)?: - After a long life in the cold and isolated fjord, he have become a bit out of the society. Especially after his wife died, he lost contact with people for a long time. This makes him a bit quiet, and does enjoy time for himself. But eventually he always must return to civilization, and enjoys to drink some ale with other people. Mostly with dwarfs. He often is a cold person if someone tells him about their problems, sins he thinks people should take care of their problems by their self, and fix their life them self like he did.
What are their ambitions?: - After living a long life, he does not have huge other plans in life. The only thing he can think of now, is to make a farm go well, so he can find his sons.
Do they have any special skills?: - As most Northerners he is a great fighter. He was always the one who had to protect the family’s farm, and neighbor farms from monsters and the Undead. But because of his age, his skills are not as good as they used to be. But at the same time, he is a knowledgeable man. With great age comes great wisdom.
What are their weaknesses?: - His age is starting to become a weakness, both in his farming work, and as a fighter. He can’t hold out as long as before, and he can’t travel as much as before. He is aware that the trip to Anthos most likely was the last trip of his life, and that this is the place where he will live his rest of his life, and die peacefully in his home.
Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - His body and face shows that time as done its job. He looks much older that he actually is, because of all the hard work and stress that has been over him for all the years. His blond, thick hair has now become thin and grey. His back is troubling him almost every day. This makes him always have a crooked back, and often uses a walking stick.
Anything else you want to say about them?: -
He is alergic to apples and carots, and therefore he never grews them on his farm. He is quite cold against people if they are telling him about their problems, but he has a big hart when it comes to help people. If somebody is wandering past his house late at night, he often offers them to come in and rest, where they get some food and a warm bed for the night.
