  1. Banned for a clear, intricate knowledge of color theory.
  2. 6/10 Nice avatar, but so dark. Too metal for me.
  3. You humble me with your presence, wordsmith.
  4. Out-Of-Character Information The simplest section of the application. Answer these questions so we can get to know you a bit more. Please do your best to correct spelling and grammatical errors, this is an RP server and writing is the main form of communication! What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: - TheTinFlute How old are you?: - 17 Have you ever roleplayed on a minecraft server before? If so, where?: - Yes I have, though they weren't strictly RP servers, (Wraithaven & CrazyCraft). Have you applied to this server before? (Please link past applications): - N/A How did you hear about us?: - The Admin of Wraithaven directed me towards LoTC. What do you think the server will be like? - A roleplay server that focuses solely on roleplay, not being diluted by things like Hunger Games or Skyblock minigames. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Why, of course! What’s the rule you agree with the most?: - "Don’t leave floating leaves when cutting down trees! If you decide to cut down a tree, ensure that you do so fully, rather than leaving unappealing and unRP floating blocks behind." Do you understand combat rules, and what you can and can’t do if you do choose to roleplay as a villain?:- Yep. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so maybe we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules):- N/A Definitions These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers or check on our wiki, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! What is roleplaying?: - Creating a unique character, (or being lame and using someone else's character) fitted with their own individual physical appearance and personality and behaving as that character would in the roleplay scenario. What’s metagaming?: - Using outside (OOC) information, whether from a private message, Skype, or a non-RP post on the Forums in RP, usually to the benefit of your or a buddy's character. What’s powergaming?: - Roleplaying in a way that doesn't give the other party a chance to react to your actions, such as the example of Damien swings his sword at Josh, cutting him in half. This is obvious powergaming, because poor old Josh is dead because he didn't have a chance to duck under the swinging sword. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. What’s your character called?: - Tin What race are they? (and sub-race if applicable): - Human (Northerner) What gender are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 19 Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Tin was raised alongside his older brother Philip by his loving Mother and his strict, highly-expectant Father. Tin's Father was a lumberjack by occupation, and loved serving the Oren Empire with his work, constantly uprooting his family as his work required, moving about the outskirts of Abresi, assisting large teams of lumberjacks in felling great forests to sate Abresi's growing demand for lumber. As Philip and Tin got older, they were expected to help out with household needs, whether it be getting jobs themselves, or assisting in the upkeep of the home. Tin himself was rather weakly in nature, and could scarcely fell a tree over the course of a day, while his older brother whom had been assisting his father for a period of time at this point, was making great progress in his physical strength. Naturally, Tin's Father aided in Philip's hiring as a lumberjack for the Oren Empire, while Tin was sentenced to what was viewed as woman's work, helping his Mother in cleaning the home, and gardening with her and gathering various herbs for dinner. It was in this stage of Tin's life that he truly was shaped into the man he became, forming a very tight bond with his mother and her loving ways, while instilling a strong disdain for his brother Philip; whom the entire time was launching insults at his feeble young brother. By the time Tin had arrived at the age of sixteen, a clear schism in the family had surfaced. Tin, whom was well over working age was still helping his Mother doing woman's work, on top of which was receiving a meager education from her, a useless trait in the eyes of his Father, which brought about his great disappointment in Tin. This was strengthened by Tin and Philip's clear hostility towards each other, in which Philip was the Father's clear favorite, seeing as he was a patriotic lumberjack, just like himself. Tin on the other hand, in fact opposed lumberjacking, though he never dared to tell his Father as such. Tin saw it as selfish, especially seeing as they never replanted any of the trees they felled. As years passed, this schism reached a defining point, at which the Father stated that Tin become a lumberjack like Philip and himself by his seventeenth birthday, or he'd no longer be allowed to stay with them. The decision was clear for Tin, he lacked both the physical strength and mentality to become a lumberjack, and he soon found himself packing a rucksack with food and a journal so he may practice he newly learned ability to read and write, as taught by his Mother. On the day of Tin's seventeenth birthday, he was ready to depart from their home when he was stopped by his Mother. She passed unto him an old, weathered tin flute, a family heirloom of her's that had been passed down for countless generations. They exchanged hugs and farewells, and Tin was off on his own accord. Tin's wandering began in a rather clear path, leading him to the nearby town of Abresi, which he had always gravitated around in his family's home, though never actually entered. Upon entering the city, he found himself heading into the library of Abresi, scouring through the various book held within. Of all the books within the library, he found himself most captivated with The Myth of the Great War, a tale about the origins of Druids, and their ideals, the protection of nature particularly standing out to Tin. And while he adored the ideals of the The Druidic Order, he wasn't ready to tie himself down to an Order yet, he had just achieved freedom for the first time! He continued to wander for a while, practicing playing his old tin flute, though he could only stuff so much food in his rucksack, and he began to run low on food. In the end, he returned to Abresi, and now out of food, began slumming about the streets of Abresi, and begging for minas despite his parent's teaching against begging, so he may afford some bread. This carried on for a Seed or two, until a kindly old man happened across him, and offered him a job alongside him as one of his farmhands, as Tin regarded the man with such politeness. Tin worked as the man's farmhand for a good two years before stopping into Abresi once more, happening to catch sight of a copy of The Myth of the Great War. It was then that Tin decided that he was going to do everything in his power to seek out the Druidic Order as a seeker, and attempt to join them as a dedicant; fully ready to dedicate his life to the Order at this point. Promptly after this revelation, he gathered up all his minas, purchased as much bread as he could fit into his rucksack, and asked the old man's forgiveness as Tin could no longer work as his farm hand. With the old man's pardon, Tin headed off as a seeker to join the Druidic Order. What are they like? (personality): - Tin is a very loving and compassionate young man, who is utterly selfless when it comes to helping others in need. Though generally happy and content with everything he has, he feels a void that needs to be filled, as he is lacking a purpose. What are their ambitions?: - To join The Druidic Order, thus reverting his family's taint that has been held on nature for a great length of time, and protect nature in general. Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Special Skills: Tin is especially talented in playing his old tin flute, and is an excellent gardener/farmer given his lengthy experience in doing so. Weaknesses: Tin is a very weakly character, and cannot achieve much in terms of physical strength, which includes all form of combat, as well as lumberjacking or push-ups. Give us a description of how they look?: - Blonde hair, 5' 9", rather lanky, white, green eyes. Please give us a screenshot of your character’s skin: - http://imgur.com/LfI54Rf,jPtsrhz#1
