Affixed atop a plateau of rock are great spines and towers wrought of stone. Banners of Red and White furl and unfurl in temperate winds. Inside a great city resides an even greater people. Lithe and fair, intelligent and proud - the Blessed Elves of Aegis, for ours is a lineage which spans millenia. Millenia of toil, struggle, hardship and drive is what has brought us from depths low to our Mountain home of hope.

Yet questions now arise in the hearts and minds of all ‘thill. They are questions most fundamental. For ours are not a people of war and hate, ours are not a people of a brutish nature yet those who lead us do so into war and death - unprovoked and unjustifiable.

The hour is late and we stand before the threshold of a new sun’s rising. Dawning on this realm will be a sun illuminating our world in hues of red and quickly thereafter shall the streets of the innocent rush to imitate such a diffusion.

For whom shall the bells of vainglorious ambition and wanton malice toll? For whom shall tombs hewn from rock and stone be arranged? For whom shall songs of lament and sorrow be sung? For whom shall trumpets sound as the dead return to the living, never to be awoken?

Acknowledgement

Many years ago Haelun’or stood as a Bastion of innovation, stoically declaring to the world our brilliance and determination. We championed the Sciences, Magic, Culture and even harbored a powerful Military. We gazed upwards into starlight and etched into the very sky itself, the reflection of our steepled rooves and bustling abodes. At the peak of our society we held outstretched, our hands to those beneath us that they may join us in our majesty and aim for better. 

Today however, Haelun’or is a husk of its former self. It does not deserve the namesake from which it is derived. Larihei weeps at the tragic loss of her peoples’ vision and determination. Wretched are those whose lust for power - whose hands have led us into darkness. Doomed are those who cling on to those blighted tendrils in hope. When we forfeit our voice to those in authority, they speak for us. When we forfeit our aims to those in authority, they steer us.

The fate of our Nation’s well-being historically, as is the case with most Nation’s, is tied to whoever is at the helm. There have been times when great leaders have risen and taken Haelun’or from ruin to glory. There have been times when great leaders have risen and taken Haelun’or from doom to prosperity. There have been times when poor leaders have risen and taken Haelun’or from greatness to destitution. Thus the fate of our Nation is at the mercy of those who grasp for the reigns. This has been our fatal flaw and I say this as someone who led our Nation dutifully from vice to virtue, from death to life as Sohaer and then Maheral.

Dissonance

How then, are we to rid ourselves of this blight? The answer is simple. We ought not be led by Tyrants, rather we ought to be led by the Silver Maiden. We hold as our core guiding philosophy, Maehr’sae Hiylun’ehya - Yet this principle to many of us  is just a collection of words. There is no depth to them, nor is there depth to our culture. It would appear that Tea Parties and Gala’s are the pinnacle of what our culture has to offer - nay, these trivial things are but a distraction. Those who rule us do so in ABJECT FAILURE, for they neglect the very essence of what our Nation is. We were set apart from the world, we were great once - a people of esteem and pride but now we are merely another pawn to be sacrificed in the affairs of greater powers. 

ENOUGH

It is time that Haelun’or reasserted itself as one of the great and leading powers on this land. Not a Nation, but the Nation. And to do this, we need to refocus our efforts and adjust our aim.

The solution is quite clear and would end forever, the corrosive stagnancy and power struggles which have historically plagued our blessed civilization. Though the powers that be will not tolerate such a solution. As a former NL, there is definitely a need for some kind of repercussions for when your character is killed. My rule of thumb was that if there had been sufficient RP and if it was of good quality, that I would PK and I was actually going to PK once when I was captured (though my captives decided to let me go).

I always refused to PK not only as NL, but in general, when the RP was just qualitatively muck - little to no effort put in, memey, etc.

Tldr; NL's should have to PK provided that the RP lead up and the quality of RP surrounding the occasion, was of a good standard.

(Yes, 'good standard' is more of a subjective thing, but we all recognize good effort)

What circumstances led to this ban?

I had posted a Transphobic meme in the Haelun'or discord targeted at a certain member of said community. A few days later, I was banned from the Server. This can easily be avoided in the future by simply not engaging in that kind of behavior.

Are there aspects of the ban you agree and/or disagree with?

I agree entirely with the ban, I did something that went against the server rules and so my ban was warranted. Fundamentally, the server rules exist to protect players, when that line is crossed and players are harassed, the rules should be enforced, and in this case, the staff did their duty to the playerbase and removed someone who had intentionally broken the rules.

What motivates you to return to LOTC?

I'd like to be unbanned as it has been close to 7 months since I was banned and I have apologized for the wrong that I have done. I want to return to LOTC as I enjoy playing on the server and have done since shorty after its launch. I have definitely learned my lesson and am truly sorry for my actions.

I want to extend a sincere apology to not only the individual whom I targeted with the transphobic meme, but also to the Haelun'or community and wider server community in general. It is never morally acceptable to harass another individual, whether provoked or not. I apologize for any harm caused and would very much like to move forward from this incident. The individual whom I harassed, I reached out to shortly after I was banned, before I had appealed to apologize for my actions.

I had sent a transphobic meme, intended to insult an individual of the community. This can be avoided in the future by simply not insulting others, as such behavior in unacceptable and I very much regret my actions, having taken the time to reflect upon them.

I wholeheartedly agree with the ban, as what I was did was very obviously wrong.

What motivates you to return to LOTC?

I'd like to be unbanned as I have played on this server since shortly after its launch and have enjoyed it for as long as I have been apart of it.

I would like to apologize to both the community, and the individual in question whom I intended to offend. It was wrong of me and I should not have engaged in such foul behavior. I understand the error of my ways and will not repeat them in the future.

"I have always been passionate about creating safe and positive online communities. I believe that every person should feel welcome and respected while using the internet, and I want to play a role in making that a reality."

While we are all prone to making mistakes, myself included - being unapologetically prejudiced and bigoted against both Religious and Conservative people directly contradicts the quote above and isn't a mistake, but rather a deep rooted and hateful attitude towards certain people who happen to see the world differently from you.

What circumstances led to this ban?

Over a period of several weeks, an individual in the Haelun'or Discord had harassed me multiple times and acted in a bigoted and hateful way towards me because of my Religious and Political convictions. I brought these instances to the moderation several times to no avail. The abuse continued to happen and so I decided to test a theory, to see what the outcome would be if I targeted this person over something that they held dear, in this case, the fact that they are Transgender.

Ultimately, I was banned for posting a Transphobic meme, and the owner of the Discord reached out to inform me that due to 'optics', I had to be banned and that they couldn't be banned, as it is a worse offence to insult someone because they are Transgender as opposed to someone being Christian or Conservative. Which led to me actually leaving the Discord and community - A community I had been apart of for 10 years, without issue.

With regards to how this can be avoided in the future, I will endeavor not to react and reply. There is a lot to be said about being the bigger man in situations like these, and the only person I'm letting down is myself for stooping to the levels of others. I should have been more mature and sensible and not posted the meme, I should've simply stopped replying and contacted the moderators again, or pushed for a ban report on LOTC.

Upon some introspection, I am fully in agreement with the ban, though I would've appreciated some more understanding as to where I was coming from, the ban was certainly warranted and in fact, I am thankful for the ban as it has allowed me time to reflect upon my actions and has led me to a better place today.

What motivates you to return to LOTC?

I'd like to be unbanned as I've played on this server for many, many years and though it has its faults and sour moments, ultimately it is a force for good. I don't think one mistake should define someone and I'd very much like to continue playing on lotc. I do see the error in my ways and what I did was not right, if I could take it back, I would without hesitation.

The argument that I was putting forth was that NO abuse ought to be accepted, on any front, by anyone. It should not be tolerated nor should it be ignored. The point I proved, is that it is alright to insult people if they are Christian/Conservative, but it's an evil to insult someone if they are Transgender or Progressive.

Not happy enough that I was out of the community, someone decided to push for a ban, apparently quite a while after I was banned from the discord.

For the record, I couldn't care less whether an individual is Transgender or not, Black or White, Religious or Atheist, etc. I was simply trying to prove a point, and I did.

Given the nature of my insult, that it wasn't born from bigotry or hate, that it was simply to prove a point - and given that it was targeted towards someone who had been harassing me, I don't think a ban from the game was warranted. The discord? Of course, in fact I argued that I should be banned from the Discord and that the other individual should also be banned as they had broken the very same rules I had. My issue, was that the moderation in the discord had deemed offending Christians acceptable.

Another area of the ban that I disagree with is that I was never informed or asked to clarify or anything, just banned, without any notice or context. Shoot first, ask questions later isn't a very good way to go about these kinds of things, especially when they're more nuanced than simply "I don't like trans people".

What motivates you to return to LOTC?

I wasn't aware that I had been banned as I had been playing on the server for a while after this incident occurred. I only found out a while ago. I've been on this server for many years (shortly after launch) without issue, I don't see why that shouldn't continue.

An analogy to sum it all up would be imagine you're in a boxing match against someone and they consistently go for low blows and illegal moves. You look to the ref, but he says fair game. You take enough of these low blows and decide to go low yourself to see if the ref will call it or not, to which the ref does call it and you're immediately disqualified.
 

Several moderators in the discord agreed that the entire ordeal was handled poorly and that they should've intervened sooner (When I had brought this to their attention weeks prior). I can compile quite a few screenshots if required.

Purity

What is Purity?

There have been many interpretations offered regarding the nature of  Purity, though there has yet to be a definitive answer given, from which we can teach our youth and go forth. I shall, in this treatise, pronounce the ultimate interpretation, if my analysis of what Larihei Lomahnih is, holds.

If indeed, as I have previously argued, Larihei, is of divine nature, and our souls are that of thilln, then Purity is a metaphysical construct- it is not something which can be empirically studied, nor can it be weighed, nor can it be counted. Though, being Pure demands that you belong to the category of Mali’aheral, for it is only those who have souls of silver.

Historically, the question “Thilln ito nae’leh?” has been premised upon two things;

Blood and Mind. Are you of Pure Mali’aheral lineage? And do you subscribe to the teachings of Larihei - maehr’sae hiylun’ehya. This is premised correctly - being of Pure lineage and being of Pure mind are necessary to one being Pure. However, Purity in and of, by definition, cannot just be those two things. Rather, Purity is the condition of one’s soul. Following maehr’sae hiylun’ehya provides us with many benefits. Firstly, it is the best philosophy by which to live our lives. Secondly, and more importantly, it is what maintains the thilln of our soul. It is what keeps it thilln. The Impure of the world do not live by our philosophy, as such their calling towards perfection - towards Larihei is diminished. They care not for her nor our ancient ways. As a Mali’aheral slowly begins to withdraw from our lifestyle, they grow more and more accustomed to lesser ways and vices. Whereas when one resides amongst Pure kin, pursuing a Pure life, one's Silver Soul is in its Purest and healthiest state.

Given the immaterial nature of the Soul, its ‘thilln-ness’, is not observable or knowable to us, though when our fates are decided at the end of our lives, it is The Silver Maiden alone, who will see us for what we are, whether we have lived a life worthy of being graced by Her presence.

To be Pure, is to have an untarnished Silver Soul. Purity then, is the endeavor to maintain the Thilln of one’s Soul.

Lomahnihst Rites

Given the utmost importance of maintaining all aspects of our Purity; The Soul, The Mind and The Body, it is important from youth, that we engage with a culture that emphasizes these very things. As such, I have devised several Rites which all Lomahnihsts are obligated and required to undergo - to both maintain their Purity and to continue to live out a life of Purity. 

The Rite of Sanctification

Upon reaching adulthood, all Lomahnihsts shall undergo The Rite of Sanctification, to be observed by their fellow Society members. This Rite is a requirement for all expectant Avernan, wherein following a ceremony, they shall be submerged in pools of Gold, effectively placing them in a state of ‘renewal’.  As Larihei offered the gift of rebirth to our ancestors, we shall offer all initiates the ability to cleanse themselves of previous transgressions against the Lomahnih way. This Rite shall conclude the initiation of the Avernan as full members of The Silver Society of Larihei Lomahnih.

The Rite of Marriage

As one meanders throughout life, having come of age, one naturally has the urge to create a family - to continue the ancient legacy of one's ancestors. It is without question that the familial unit is the fundamental unity within our blessed society. Therefore, both culturally and civilly, one is obligated to continue our way of life, and so when two wish to become one, they shall be wed in ceremony, before their peers, receiving the pools of Gold together, serving as both a renewal of their promise to be pure, and as a promise now to each other.

The Rite of Dying

To die, is a consequence of having lived, and as one nears the end of ones life, the last act of purification is granted. A ceremony, presided over by the Masaneyir, and attended by the family of the one who’s time has come to an end, shall be held wherein they shall be purified once more, by the blessed waters. Then, their bodies shall be cremated and laid to rest within the crypts of our ancestors.

Mali’thill do not hold the view that there is no deity, but rather that it is irrational to worship an invisible deity. Furthermore, Mali’thill believe in the existence of a creator, and so the idea of a deific figure is not one of controversy. 

Reason speaks to another tradition of the Mali’thill, that of worship and veneration. Though today, we shun the worshiping of deities, this perhaps, was not always so. 

As a son of the Mother of Thilln, I hold that Larihei Lomahnih is not merely mortal, but of higher origin. I do not hold this lightly, nor have I reached this conclusion with ease. I shall lay out my reasoning for this belief here in what I consider to be feats of divinity.

Foresight

Larihei was Malin’s most senior advisor, having aided him greatly in both the defeat of Iblees and in the founding of his Kingdom, and it was she who warned him of the impending danger of the Word Altars, which eventually led to the warping of forests and the dangerous magics of the Fae. The forests would grow wild and feral, killing many elves. Malin, horrified at this, outlawed and buried deep, these Aspectic altars of power.

Creation

It was Larihei, already bearing the physical and mental characteristics of a Mali’aheral - though they did not yet exist, who led our ancestors to the Golden Pools, where they would eventually become the first of the Mali’aheral - reborn in the image and likeness of Larihei Lomahnih.

Gifts

Larihei gave to the Mali’aheral, many great gifts. The most senior of these gifts were received by the Mali’aheral upon their bathing in the pools - their Silver Soul. Secondary to this, were the powers of the Void. Thirdly, she gave to our ancestors, the very code and philosophy which guides us still, to this day, after millenia - maehr’sae hiylun’ehya.

Sacrifice

It was the mother of Thilln who sacrificed her mortality - her physical and worldly presence, in the creation of the portals which would save our kin from certain doom, leaving behind the mortal plane - separating herself from her children, so that they may live.

Apotheosis

Lomal the traitor led an assault upon Larihei and her flock, as such the mother of thilln ordered her kin to retreat, not wanting her children to suffer more bloodshed. She created for them, a portal to a new world, where they would be safe from Lomal and his mutants. Half of her children followed, the other remained behind, though Larihei was not to be found in this new realm - she had vanished.

Larihei had suffered enough. She had fulfilled her worldly purpose, her flock were safe and had her teachings to live by - it was her time now, to return to the Creator, one of his finest instruments, a divine extension of Purity, Perfection - Grief.

In her creation of the Mali’aheral Larihei wept, grief stricken - for in their endeavor of attaining perfection, her children would suffer the ills of a lesser world.

This is the Ancient Creed of the Sillumiran - the Weeping Blades of Haelun’or, invoking Larihei’s attention to their suffering - a mother to weep for the losses she would endure.

A mother is one who creates, who gives birth to new life. A mother is one who suffers greatly, so that her children may live a better life. Larihei, creator of Blessed Haelun’or, she who gave birth to elMali’thill is the eternal mother, and to her we owe our lives - to her, we give praise and worship, for without her, we are nothing.

When at last, we are fated to meet our end, as Larihei embraced us when we emerged from the Golden Pools, born anew, she will embrace our Silver Souls when we are relinquished from our mortal coil.

The denizens of Malinor brought fire and ruin to the homes of the Mali’thill. Violence became the language of those Mali who were bitter and jealous, and they were quick to greet their Silver cousins. Thus the path became clear - it would be an Exodus of the Thilln, that would seal the fate of Larihei’s flock. 

No more, would they hail Malin, No longer would they suffer the ills of Malinor. The age of Silver had begun.

The Genesis of the Mali’thill begins with one, Larihei Lomahnih. It was her thirst for knowledge, her discontent with stagnation, and the want to better the lives of her people, that led her to strife with Malin and into the Great Caverns. It would be within these rough, cold and damp caves, that Larihei and her flock would discover pools of Magegold - The Golden Pools, and it would be within these pools, that Larihei and her followers would bathe, becoming the first of the Mali’aheral.

Bound are we, Mali’thill, to millenia of tradition - the inheritors of an ancient heritage. To it, we are loyal and from it, we shall proceed - and this shall be the guiding principle of this blessed society.

Hierarchy

Masaneyiran

The Masaneyiran, or ‘High Speakers’, are those who lead and guide the Society. It is through their wisdom and their adherence to maehr’sae hiylun’ehya, that they exude the virtues of the pure. There shall only ever be one Masaneyir at any given time, and they are responsible for;

The guidance of elmali’thill, as exemplars of the model of purity, as echoed by this Silver Society.

The maintenance and upholding of this Silver Society, its values and goals.

The oversight and selection of the Saneyiran and elHeial’saneyiran.

The maintenance of relations with those outside of the order.

The vetoing of any decision made by elHeial’saneyiran deemed anathema to the values and goals of the Society.

Saneyiran

The Saneyiran, or ‘Speakers’, make up elHeial’saneyiran. They follow and implement the directives of the Masaneyir, ensuring that junior members of the society are aligned with the visions and values of the order. Saneyiran are also responsible for the tabling of new directives, policy and laws, where applicable. They shall;

Oversee the recruitment of students and their subsequent training and induction into the order as Avernan.

Call meetings of the elHeial’saneyiran.

Enact council directives.

Implement council directives.

Avernan

The Avernan, or ‘Wanderers’, make up the majority of the Order. They are those members who have been recruited by elSaneyiran and have been formally sworn into the Order, to live as students of the Lomahnih way.

Values

Members of the Society adhere to traditional Mali’thill values - at the core of their very being, the philosophy of Larihei Lomahnih herself - maehr’sae hiylun’ehya. Furthermore, as divined by elMasaneyir Ni’leya, there are three pillars to which elMali’thill are beholden.

Bloodline

Members of this order hold the integrity of their bloodlines to be a fundamental part of their being, their lineage being a gift from the Silver Maiden. The safeguarding of their ancestry and bloodline cannot be overstated in terms of importance. Thus, no member of this order shall sully their bloodline and ancestry by bearing offspring that is not of pure descent.

Soul

Members of this order hold that within all Mali’aheral, resides and directs, a Silver Soul. Larihei, the first of our kind, long before she had discovered The Golden Pools, is known to have already maintained the physical characteristics of the Mali’aheral - pale skin, platinum hair, azure blue eyes.

Thus, when Larihei bathed in the Golden Pools, through her very being and will, she willed it that all who bathe within these pools, shall be born anew, in her image - the transformation of their vulgar soul into that of a Silver Soul. The Genesis of the Mali’thill begins with one, Larihei Lomahnih. It was her thirst for knowledge, her discontent with stagnation, and the want to better the lives of her people, that led her to strife with Malin and into the Great Caverns. It would be within these rough, cold and damp caves, that Larihei and her flock would discover pools of Magegold - The Golden Pools, and it would be within these pools, that Larihei and her followers would bathe, becoming the first of the Mali’aheral.

Masaneyiran

The Masaneyiran, or ‘High Speakers’, are those who lead and guide the Society. It is through their wisdom and their adherence to maehr’sae hiylun’ehya, that they exude the virtues of the pure. There shall only ever be one Masaneyir at any given time, and they are responsible for;

The guidance of elmali’thill, as exemplars of the model of purity, as echoed by this Silver Society.

The maintenance and upholding of this Silver Society, its values and goals.

The oversight and selection of the Saneyiran and elHeial’saneyiran.

The maintenance of relations with those outside of the order.

The vetoing of any decision made by elHeial’saneyiran deemed anathema to the values and goals of the Society.

Saneyiran

The Saneyiran, or ‘Speakers’, make up elHeial’saneyiran. They follow and implement the directives of the Masaneyir, ensuring that junior members of the society are aligned with the visions and values of the order. Saneyiran are also responsible for the tabling of new directives, policy and laws, where applicable. They shall;

Oversee the recruitment of students and their subsequent training and induction into the order as Avernan.

Call meetings of the elHeial’saneyiran.

Enact council directives.

Implement council directives.

Avernan

The Avernan, or ‘Wanderers’, make up the majority of the Order. They are those members who have been recruited by elSaneyiran and have been formally sworn into the Order, to live as students of the Lomahnih way.

Members of the Society adhere to traditional Mali’thill values - at the core of their very being, the philosophy of Larihei Lomahnih herself - maehr’sae hiylun’ehya. Furthermore, as divined by elMasaneyir Ni’leya, there are three pillars to which elMali’thill are beholden.

Bloodline

Members of this order hold the integrity of their bloodlines to be a fundamental part of their being, their lineage being a gift from the Silver Maiden. The safeguarding of their ancestry and bloodline cannot be overstated in terms of importance. Thus, no member of this order shall sully their bloodline and ancestry by bearing offspring that is not of pure descent.

Soul

Members of this order hold that within all Mali’aheral, resides and directs, a Silver Soul. Larihei, the first of our kind, long before she had discovered The Golden Pools, is known to have already maintained the physical characteristics of the Mali’aheral - pale skin, platinum hair, azure blue eyes.

Thus, when Larihei bathed in the Golden Pools, through her very being and will, she willed it that all who bathe within these pools, shall be born anew, in her image - the transformation of their vulgar soul into that of a Silver Soul. Literally was just forced into a discord group where I am now being once again, forced into an action - that being to give my support via comment and + 1 to this submission, which I do so happily and freely, of my own accord.

I can only really speak to the Haelun'or conflict from my own perspective, but it was clear from day one, that the motivating factors in taking over Haelun'or were entirely OOC'ly based, with a sprinkling of RP to justify those actions. While this isn't necessarily a bad thing, it turned into one when it was made clear that Twi was going to stop at literally nothing to become the PRO of Haelun'or, even if that meant the destruction of a 10 year old community. 

Twi could've went about things so differently, and I recall being kind of shocked at her willingness to straight up try to brute-force her way through to what she wanted. 

At an IRP debate that was scheduled, not only did she show up late, but she then refused to debate (now, everyone knew that this debate would work out in favor of Haelun'or, but that's not the point) and the only words she spoke icly were "Surrender", before she ran without RP'ing and SS'd out. From day one, it was either "Give me your Nation or Die.". This kind of thing, in my 10+ years of playing on this server, never really happens icly, unless there are OOC factors involved. Never did she try work things out diplomatically or peacefully, it was always "Give me what I want or suffer", and this of course translated into the OOC smear campaign against not only myself, but the entirety of the Haelunorian community. It was often said to me that I, as NL at the time, was responsible for the actions of my community. If this is the case, then the same applies to Twi, and I can guarantee you, that we received enormous amounts of abuse and harassment.

While I am not against a hostile takeover of a nation, it must be done irp'ly and it should be motivated irp'ly - with the RP being more than just a means of justifying an OOC plot. Unfortunately, this response is entirely accurate in its portrayal of how Twi acted during the Haelun'or conflict.

Laurir Usamea An’asul has put a question to elmalauriran and by extent, to the Blessed State of Haelun’or, and this is a simple question based on two simple premises.

“Should Homosexuality be legalized in Haelun’or, provided that one has reached the age of infertility and has contributed offspring to the State?”

While at first glance it may be appealing to consider this question seriously, I urge you to disregard these grievous ramblings for reasons that I shall now make apparently clear by way of logical argumentation.

The argument as presented by Laurir An’asul explicitly suggests that homsexuality, which is unmistakingly regarded as impure, ceases to be so when an individual has both reached the age of infertility and has provided children to the State. This individual, is now free to engage in homosexual acts and relationships. This is absurd and it is quite clear that Laurir An’asul lacks in abundance, even a basic understanding of our philosophy on Marriage, Love, and Sexual Relations. I recommend to you, a book entitled ‘The Dichotomy of Lewdness’, written by none other than Malaurir Lucion Sullas. 

It is beyond the intellect of any Mali’thill to seriously consider whether or not Homosexuality ought to be legalized, and by extend, accept as something ‘good’ or indeed ‘normal’. Given this, I shall not waste my time arguing against it. All I aim to do is expose the absurdity behind the logical argument presented by Laurir An’asul.

I must apologize to you, dearest reader for what I shall now lay before your eyes, however it is a necessary evil to expose the danger which Laurir An’asul wishes to place our blessed society into the hands of.

In fact, this individual would go even further, claiming to ‘love’, this Uruk. Why should they not be allowed to marry? For this Mali’aheral has reached the age of infertility and has provided children to the State? Are they not entitled now, to engage in any and all acts?

This reasoning leads to an acceptance of Interracial Relations.

An individual has reached the age of infertility and has provided two children to the State. This individual has an attraction to their sibling. In fact, this individual would go even further, claiming to ‘love’ their sibling. Why should they not be allowed to marry? For these two Mali’aheral have reached the age of infertility and have both provided two children to the State? 

This reasoning leads to an acceptance of Incestuous Relations.

Two married individuals have both reached the age of infertility and have both provided two children each to the State. These individuals, though married to other people, have an attraction to one another. In fact, these individuals go even further, claiming to ‘love’ each other. Why should they not be allowed to marry? For these Mali’aheral have reached the age of infertility and have provided children to the State.

This reasoning leads to an acceptance of Physical Fraternization outside of Marriage.

Let me explain something really quickly to you both, as you seem to be on this moral high horse @Venomous_Pup, @Havsbris_. 

This conflict was a nasty one, OOC'ly speaking. People on both sides of this conflict were nasty, so let's drop the dumb pretense that it's Haelun'or and solely Haelun'or who is bad here. If I truly am this evil, hateful, toxic person, then why haven't I been banned? Why, in my 10 year + history on this server, have I not been banned for anything related to these things? Have I suddenly, in these past few months become this totally different kind of person? Where is your proof of this? The reality is, you have none. There's a reason why Kiwi is banned and I'm not. Furthermore, I'm not the one who reported her. I've been called a sexist, a misogynist, a pedophile, a racist, et cetera, by your best buddy. You've all seen the shit that has been said about me in your various group chats. So let's drop the victim complex okay?

Secondly, to touch on your point Venom, to say that I have bullied Kiwi is the whackest shit I've ever heard. Kiwi is a serial bully. It isn't even funny how many people she has harassed on this server, across multiple communities. It's funny though, Kiwi was blacklisted from Haelun'or until I became NL. I let kiwi back in to Haelun'or.

Regarding your settlement, I couldn't care less about Celia'nor and what your community does. I in fact, advocated for you guys getting your settlement when Twi and I were speaking with admins at the end of this conflict. At the start of this conflict, I raised the question of why you guys weren't just doing your own thing and building up your own settlement. I don't care what you guys do. It's none of my business.

Regarding your comments, Havsbris; Idk what you mean by 'master' of Haelun'or. I came back to Lotc in the summertime. I've never once held a position within Haelun'or prior to this. I'm not motivated by power, I never have been. I wanted to help Haelun'or out, as one of the old players who actually understands the culture and what makes Haelun'or successful. And guess what? When I became NL, Haelun'or not only recovered, but was doing extremely well. I'm not complaining about anything at the moment, but I will complain when I feel that things are fucked up. For example, and I don't know why you guys act as if this never happened, but Kiwi literally put up an OOC section on a forum post declaring how she was doing this to **** over this nasty, racist, evil community. This literally happened, yet we're still playing dumb here as if this was all an RP conflict. 

Haelun'or won this conflict because of one thing, and one thing alone. When it came down to actual Haelunorians RP'ing, it was us who had a clear majority. The vast majority of your numbers, came from Fenn. This is why you lost. You didn't have the support of the Haelunorian playerbase and you never made any attempts to win over their support. Instead, you resorted to conflict and rallying people to destroy us, which actually bolstered the support for actual Haelunorians such as myself.

Absolutely, every RP action has some level of OOC to it. The difference is, the entirety of the RP was motivated by OOCly wanting to destroy a community because she didn't like that community. That's the difference.

These people weren't involved with Haelun'or towards the end of Iverach's leadership (In summer), and this conflict began when I became NL. On day one of me being NL, we had 0.5% activity, and dropping. By the time I had to step down due to OOC stuff, we were on 7.5% and climbing. This was done in a relatively short time period.

"Reviving Haelun'or" doesn't make sense as a pretense for this conflict, given that they weren't involved with Haelun'or, at least not twi, and that Hnor was the most active Elf Nations, and one of the most active Nations on the server. Kiwi and co were involved and got more involved midway through my stint as NL, but Twi's only interactions with Haelun'or was based in conflict.

This was an OOC conflict aimed at destroying the Nation and Community, which Kiwi stated herself.
