Shaeles chuckles lightly, playing with a strand of his golden hair. "This, boys and girls, is why you do not become impure. Your government collapses and you start a civil war with yourselves across three separate realms. Hopefully they'll see the folly in their actions and just return to the cihi." He shrugs lightly. "Unlikely as that may be." He turns and walks back into the gates of Haelen'or.

I'm assuming homonculi are more advanced alchemy secrets and not general knowledge to an alchemist?

How do you start off with alchemy? Is it like magic, where you need a teacher? Or is it something that'd just make the process easier? (I'm new so I don't know what to do entirely x.x)

So is it all IC?

I was wondering if it's possible to craft a brewing stand, and how. If not, how do I level up alchemy?

Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Shaeles was born to Illithar and Laren Silverthorn in Haelen'or (I think I am spelling that right) in Anthos. His parents loved him very much, even if his father had an odd way of showing it. He was incredibly strict with Shaeles, constant punishment, constantly pointing out Shaeles flaws. He would always say "It's tough love, Shaeles. This world will not be nice to you, and I will not coddle you only to throw you into death's hands." It took Shaeles many years to understand that this was his version of love. He truly was looking out for Shaeles. He only realized it when he was robbed and beat to near death by an Orc whom he spoke an elvish greeting to. He had not known that Orcs had been so cruel, Dwarves so greedy, Humans so racist, and the Scourge so cruel. During the time of the Scourge, he would have many encounters with them, though him running in fear of them would be a more appropriate wording. The only time he actually fought was against a corpse roaming around the Conclave of Malin when the Scourge attacked, even then, he alone could not have done it. He could barely understand what drove the other races, and finally came to understand his father's words: It does not matter if you understand it or not. The world does not care if you understand it, the world will continue to move and exist and beat on you no matter what. Your understanding is not needed. As such, Shaeles stuck to the walls of Haelen'or, where he felt like he belonged and truly understood how other people acted. On rare ocassions, he would go out to trade for certain things of interest. What are they like? (personality): - Snobby, rarely interacts with the "lesser" races, but friendly (though I use the word losely) to his fellow Mali'aheral. What are their ambitions?: - To have a deeper understanding of magic and alchemy, both a very deep interest to him. Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - He is, like most Mali'aheral, very intelligent, nimble, and slim. However, as such, he is not one for close combat, and in such a confrontation, he would surely be defeated rather easily. His racism towards the other races often gets him into trouble, and his "Tough love" look on life is not accepted by most, making him seem to be an abusive, narcissistic jerk. Which is very accurate.
