What is roleplaying?: roleplaying is when you play as another character and acting out how he/she will be (Physically or mentally/emotionly). What is metagaming?: Metagaming is when you use Out of character info, in character. For example on this RP server if you shift and right click and you see the personname without knowing his name through RP you basicly just Meta. What is powergaming?: Powergaming is allowing the other player to have no action in what you've done. Ex : Billy took his sword out and sliced of sally's head. In-Character Information Character’s name: Lief Hyle Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Human Character’s age: 18 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Lief Hyle was first born in Petrus with his Mom and his Dad. His Mom would work the farms while his Father was working as a knight for the Oren Empire. Usually at these times Lief wouldn't see his father as much as he wanted to but he always loved his mother. Lief would always stay with his Mom when she was working at the wheat fields in Werdenberg,his mom also taught him at a young age how to read, write, and learn to cook. Lief loved to read and be with the animals, with the extra minas his Mother had she would usually let him have a book to read. His Father wanted Lief to become a man so he later on at age 12 trained Lief on how to use a sword, a bow, and how to survive. Lief hated this he could barely use a sword without complaining that his hand hurt or getting frustrated when he couldn't get the arrow onto the bowstring. His Father was disappointed in Lief as he wanted Lief to become a knight, his Father wasn't happy with his Mother also since he was acting of more of a Women then a man in his Father mind. Lief hated his Father for training from his Father so he later on told his Mother about this and she tried to stop his Father from training him. Disappointed in Lief his Father stopped training him and Lief would usually be back to his usual routine, but not his Father he would usually be humiliated by the other guards or knights about his son being such a girl and learning professions a women should know. Over the humiliation his Father would always have to drink and come home drunk. He then started to hated his Wife for teaching his Son what she learned. Then after thinking about the consequences of death and the humiliation that his Father was facing, His Father abandoned Lief and his Mother. Lief's Father was never seen again. His Mother didn't really know where his Father was but to keep Lief happy she would usually make an excuse for why his Father wasn't home. His Mother would then had to move somewhere cheaper so they had to stay at a home much cheaper in Petrus which was very small. Lief then learned about what happened to his Father at 17 when his Mother told him. As Lief was usually reading outside he would be nervous women around his age and would never talk to them after thinking that he was a nobody and would hide his face in his book. At 18 his Mother knew it was time to "Kick the little bird out of the nest."So She told Lief that it was time for him to make his own choices. Lief gave his mother a hug and then his Mother gave him 250 Minas from a small little chest she kept to spend to start him off to survive in the world of Athera. Personality Traits: Kind, friendly, eloquent, positive, clumsy, shy. Ambitions: To find a new home and meet other people he could call friends and get a job. Strengths/Talents: Reading, Exploring, cooking, drawings, loves to write also. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Physically weak,not a good at fighting of any kind , cant swim, scared of undead, cant ride a horse, gets nervous around girls/women.
