Saint Julia with Godwin, Andre Confornan

In honor of Saint Julia, the wife of the Exalted Prophet Horen, a day is granted for

celebrating her most holy and blessed life. Saint Julia is the patron saint of mothers, religious sisters, and motherhood, among other things. Her jubilee season is to be celebrated in jubilant company and splendid fashion. By the truly great will of the High Priest, His Holy Highness Callixtus Primus, this season has been proclaimed to be: The Grand Harvest of 1608 - 1610.

The season shall be filled with pleasantries for both the young and the old. Couples will be blessed by His Holiness and other ordained men of the cloth for the sake of the Saint herself along with a special gift from the Church of the True Faith being placed on every believer’s doorstep. Children, or those who believe themselves to be young-of-mind, can compete in a scavenger hunt throughout the city of Aleksandria. A foot race will be held through the streets of the city as well, with anyone over the age of fifteen allowed to partake and win the possible prizes. Other attractions are available and are listed below:

    Scavenger Hunt:

Small chests will be placed around the city, some being difficult and some being easy to find. The goal is to find these hidden chest to retrieve the prizes hidden inside. Prizes range from food to flowers to small trinkets.

Roses on the Doorstep & Blessings from His Holiness:

Roses are placed on the doorstep of each believer with a small note calling all married couples to gather in the Church District within Aleksandria to have a blessing placed upon them. Those who are not married can spectate the event that the High Priest should preside over.

    Apple Bobbing & Foot Race:

In the square several large tubs will be filled with water and apples and people will race, for a set amount of time, to pull out as many of the apples by only using their mouth. The winner will receive all the apples they pulled out plus a trinket Holy Cross of Lorraine.

    Playground and Flower-Picking:

A small playground with toys, and other things commonly found in a pleasant setting such as this, will be open to all individuals attending the festival. Flowers will be placed around the area and children will be allowed to pick them for any reason, although the suggested purpose is to give them to their mothers to show their appreciation.

    Hot Air Balloon Ride:

For those who wish to ride through the skies and to see the beautiful city of Aleksandria

from the clouds a hot air balloon will be present at the feast. For some mina everyone

    The Holy Magisterium doth proclaim:

The sins of the Regnum Hansaetiarum et Ruskae and their nobility has been proven to Us, the Holy Magisterium, as well as the people of Courland. Thusly We, the holders of the True Tradition, the True Laurels and the True Faith does proclaim a Holy War for the Crown of Saint Joren, who weeps from the Fifth Skie, for his children through their multiple sins against the faith. The Holy and Most Blessed Church of the True Faith gives the following reasons for its declaration of Holy War and Holy Crusade upon the people of the Highlands:

    I. Repeated offenses to the State of Courland, the bastion of Faith and to its nobility, villeins, commonfolk and serfs, by raiding and kidnapping personages of royal and noble blood, as well as the murder of the Martyr Meric Staunton who wished to bargain for peace. His Holy Highness, Callixtus Primus, High Priest of the Assembly of Old Believers, Curate of Johannesburg, Bishop of Akrigatem, Sulteren, Johnerierrae, Senexit, Multerunt and Anpanovesia, Successor of the High Priesthood of the Church, Supreme Head of the Church of the True Faith, and Vicar of Vicars of the Church, repudiates this behaviour as ungodly and undeserving of his Holy Pardon. These acts of offense to the people of courland are the sins of WARMONGERING & MURDER.

Thusly, We, the Holy Magisterium, do proclaim a CRUSADE against the Crown of Joren. Any men willing to take up arms against the bastion of heresy will be granted a plenary indulgence so that he, who bares the cross (Be It Old Believer or Canonist), shan’t spend time in the First Sky atoning temporarily for his sins, and to those who die fighting for the Glory of God, let them be revered as Great Martyrs of the Church.

The Church, however, as much as it can punish it can also forgive. The call for Crusade shall be lifted if:

    I. His Majesty, King Marius Primus submits to whichever peace deal His Majesty, Tobias Primus Staunton wishes to impose.

II. His Majesty, King Marius Primus, his family and all who he has enfeoffed land and now pay him vassalage and denounce their Ruskan Orthodox heresy.

III. His Majesty, King Marius Primus, rejects and renounces the Crown of Joren and all estates and lands, donating half his wealth to the church and takes an oath of obedience and becomes a Monastic in the Church.

The church of the True Faith is divided amongst many archdioceses and dioceses, often called archeparchies and eparchies. Each diocese is held in trust by a Bishop who in turn is also a member of the Conclave of Episcopates, a council of Bishops tasked with participating and voting on the Ecumenical Councils called forth by the High Priest. Each diocesan bishop is tasked with aiding his See’s faithful and delegating priests to smaller parishes, for a Archbishop his task is to appoint Bishops to his sub-dioceses,

Most Blessed See of Pontian and the Ancient Priestly Lands:- His Reverence and Most Pious Bishop Nikolas.

    SECTION III - SCRIPTURAL APOCRYPHA:

It has come to the attention of the most Holy and Blessed See of Aleksandria and to the Successor of the Diarchs; Callixtus Primus, that scripture currently in the Canonical Scripture of the Church of the True Faith, namely the Scrolls of the Gospel and that of Auspice is of dubious and unholy nature for the reason listed:

    1. Both Gospel and Auspice have been written by earth-bound rulers of mankind, while many may claim this a sign of divine providence, it is clear, especially due to recent events, that God does not favour those of direct prophetical lineage. The Church affirms that both Godfrey and Siegmund were too earthbound to lead Godly lives and to be called to prophethood whilst Horen was an humble leader of his tribe and Owyn was a destitute orphaned prince who purged God’s enemies. Why would God call worldly and sinful men to deliver his message?

    2. Both Gospel and Auspice are the only unfinished scrolls of the Church. The scroll of the Gospel is nothing more than the mere history book of Holy History, which should be respected, but should not be viewed as something of a sacred and infallible nature, for, unlike both Virtue and Spirit offer no moral teaching and is wholly incomplete. The history within the Scroll of the Gospel should not be viewed as infallible but as part of the Holy Tradition and History of the Faith. The Scroll of Auspice is the worse of the supposed Canon of the Church, for it is the most unfinished piece of ‘Holy’ Text, it lacks any development besides a few beginning canticles. The church affirms that both Scrolls, due to their incomplete nature cannot be considered the fruit of God’s manifestation onto this earth, for if it were would the scrolls not be finished after centuries of the last ‘prophet’s’ death?

    3. Both Gospel and Auspice also lack historic legitimacy, which may not seem to be important, but, with the multiple deviations made by the Canonist Church and its predecessors in both liturgy, tradition and Dogma, how can two scrolls, made by ungodly men, be accepted by the True Faith, if the men who “received” them supported, and many times ruled, a fallible and corrupt church?

It is with these points that through the divine Godhead which imbues this document with Holy Truth that we so declare the Scroll of Auspice as Apocrypha and the Scroll of the Gospel to be simply denoted as the Church History. All copies of the Apocryphal scroll are to be burned by divine mandate. All Holy Days pretraining to Godfrey and Siegmund are to be dropped, all icons of said men are to be cast into the flame.

    SECTION IV - MILITANCE:

Through the divine authority of the Holy Magisterium of the Holy and Blessed Church of the True Faith, created by the Divine Mandate through Owyn and vested to the First High Priests, Diarchs Evaristus and Clement, we, the Holy Magisterium, do enfeoff to the Order of Saint Lothar, known in High Imperial as Ordo Fratrum Sancti Lotari with full authority in regards to the Church Militant and Church Justice in all the realms who accept the True Faith.

    SECTION V - CANONIZATIONS & BEATIFICATIONS:

The following people are recognized as being in a state of grace and now dwell in the Seven Skies: Exalted Horen first Prophet, Exalted Owyn second Prophet; Saint Julia of Paradisus, Patroness of Women, Exorcisms and of Courland; Saint Godwin of Paradisus, Patron of Kings and Royalty; Saint Joren of Paradisus, Patron of the Highlanders; Saints High Priests Evaristus and Clement, Patrons of the Church and the Priesthood; and Saint Lothar of Balian, Patron of Warriors and Militant Monastics.

The following people are recognized as being in a lesser state of grace, dwelling in the Fourth Sky: Blessed Hilarion, he who wrote the Docens.

The following people are to be considered as possible candidates for beatification: Aleksander Staunton. Reasons for the conclave’s refusal of beatification: was a canonist lord, miracle of the mass baptism uncertain.

    SECTION VI - CELIBACY:

The church does proclaim that celibacy among the clergy is not needed, although individuals may take the oath of celibacy before the altar of God, celibacy is not compulsory and all oaths of celibacy taken under the Canonist Church are considered null. However, once married a priest may not either request for an annulment nor remarry after their wife as passed away. Brothers and Sisters of the monastic orders must make the oath of celibacy, however. This is due to the recent origin of the oath of celibacy, coming from High Pontiff Lucien II. Neither the Exalted nor the early church were celibate, thus neither should the clergy feel obligated to abstain from one of the sacraments of the Faith to be able to fully honour God.

    To the assorted clergymen of the one True Faith, Old Believer and Owynist sects;

In this sixteen hundredth year of our Lord the High Priest of the True Faith does summon thee to sobor for the first time in our new Holy See of Aleksandria. Since our foundation in the MDXCVIII year of Creation we have not yet had an opportunity to officially unite and decide pressing matters within our church. With the coming festival of the True Faith looking us directly in the eyes I feel that more so now than ever a meeting must be held to further our development as a faith community.

    The following will be addressed:

    • Creation of Eparchies

    • Appointment of Episcopates

    • Order of St. Lothar

    • True Faith Communion

    • Canonization

    • Etc.

His Holy Highness CALLIXTVS PRIMVS, High Priest of the Assembly of Old Believers, Metropolitan of Aleksandria, Curate of Johannesburg, Bishop of Akrigatem, Sulteren, Johnerierrae, Senexit, Multerunt, and Anpanovesia, Successor of the High Priesthood of the Church, Supreme Head of the Church of True Faith, and Vicar of the Church.

  10. The True Faith

The following is the amended constitution of the True Church of God, derived from the second Prophet of our Lord, who rules atop the seventh sky, and written upon the MDXCVIII year of Creation. Let all the clergy be educated and let all the faithful be enlightened, for this is the true polity of God, derived from Holy Tradition through the works of the Holy Brother, Hilarion of the time of High Priest Everard Primus.

    Council-of-Trent.jpg

    Section I. Origin

Since the dissenter clergyman separated themselves from the Canonist Church to form the ‘Lotharic Communion’ there has been a rift between the Bishops within. On the side of the first Princeps, Princeps Valentyn, there were the reformists. These clergymen focused too much on becoming anti-canonist and too little on preserving the sacred tradition that they had inherited. However, on the side of Bishop Abraham, an early founder of the Communion, there existed a sect of clergy who wished to bring the church back to the days prior to the Canonist Church and the Pontifical tradition itself. These pius few had the intent of going back to the time of the High Priests. These clergymen had a single obstacle; since the time of High Priest Pontian no documentation on the old rites and traditions of the church were known of- at least not to the church. Once Bishop Abraham was elected Princeps he sent his flock to scour the land looking for documentation of that time. Most of the works that the clergy recovered would be translated by Bishop Vladimir ‘the Golden Hand’ into the ‘Docens’ or teachings in flexio. This new document would be used as a basis for everything in the church, from the liturgy to clerical garb.

Part 1. Fallibilitas All that is mortal, made from the clay of which God created the first man and the first woman, is fallible. No mortal men or people may claim to be infallible unless it is done by the divine Godhead, be it through revelation or through a Holy Council of Synodal Episcopates.

Part 2. Deus The most fundamental concept of the True Faith is a rigorous monotheism, called the Doctrine of One. The Creator is architect of the universe and progenitor of humankind. He is unique and inherently one, omnipotent, omnipresent, and omnibenevolent.

Part 3. Aenguls et Daemons The Faith holds that Aenguls and Daemons are true, physical beings with a presence in the world and powers granted by the Creator. According to the Canon, they possess free thought, and worship the Creator in total obedience. Aenguls and Daemons are alike to humans and can choose between good and evil. Their earthly duties include communicating revelations from Creator, glorifying Him, recording every person's actions, and taking a person's soul at the time of death. They are also thought to intercede on man's behalf. The Scrolls describes Aenguls as "messengers with wings—two, or three, or four (pairs)”. Each Aengul and Daemons are assigned to a particular aspect of life, be it death, life, etcetera.

Part 4. Exaltatus  The Faithful identify the exalted prophets as those humans chosen by the Creator to be his managers in the mortal realm. Prophets, known as the Exalted. were chosen by the creator to bring the "Will of the Creator" to the peoples of the nations through their actions and through the divine scrolls and so they were the Regent of Heaven in the mortal realm, and the successor of the Creator. The Divine must be descended from Horen but not all sons of Horen are divines.

Part 5. Praedestination The Faith’s teaching of predestination, or divine-preordainment is derived from the fact that The Creator has full knowledge and control over all that occurs. Yet The Creator has given us free will, thus, He knows all that can happen and let us choose which path we are to take.

Part 6. Misericordia Dei  Repentance is the activity of reviewing one's actions and feeling contrition or regret for past wrongs. In religious contexts it usually refers to confession to God, ceasing sin against God in order to gain forgiveness or absolution. It typically includes an admission of guilt, a promise or resolve not to repeat the offense; an attempt to make restitution for the wrong, or in some way to reverse the harmful effects of the wrong where possible.

Part 7. Divinitatem The Godhead is the light and wellhead of the creator that interacts with the mortal realm. It suffuses all things and is the most essential and timeless aspect of the Creator; also termed the Holy Light, it reflects the infinite will of the Creator and his influence over the mortal world. It exists in all creation, though its strength is empowered by one's spiritual proximity to the Allfather. It embodies the concept of unconditional reality, which transcends the limited existence of mortality or even personality; it is a singular, driving force of purity and radiance which acts as the spiritual body of the Creator. The Godhead is also the progenitor of pre-ordainment, acting as the primary mover behind all things that occur.

Part 8. Apocalypsis The Holy Scrolls are the records which most Faithful believe were dictated by the Creator to Tesion and Artifai, The Faithful believe that the verses of the Early Scrolls were revealed to Horen by The Creator through an Archaengul on many occasions during his lifetime.

Article II. The Sacraments as they are written in the Docens are as follows:

Baptism: the entering of the covenant with God.

    Consecration: the blessing of God.

Divine Word: the hearing of the Scrolls of God.

Reconciliation: the act of beseeching for mercy.

Matrimony: the bond of a man and a woman in the sight of God.

Ordination: the anointing of a cleric of God.

Article III. The Creed of the Church as it is written in the Docen is as follows:

I profess, with perfect faith, the belief in the unutterable Glory, Omnipotence, Omniscience and Omnibenevolence of the Lord,

Who created the world as an outpouring of His divine love,

Whom for all Humanity's salvation delivered the infallible Holy Scrolls onto the Prophets.

I acknowledge one baptism for the dedification of my body to the Lord,

In His holy church I obtain the precious sacrament of the divine word.

By His Holy Light I acknowledge that he is made manifest and fillest all things,

And through the sacrament of reconciliation I shall make penance for my wrongs against those things which ought to be as God hath foreordained them.

Section V. - The Liturgies and Sacred Buildings and Vestments-

Article I. The True Faith is to use the revised Liturgy penned by the Conclave of Episcopates in the First Ecumenical Council of Aleksandria which harkens back to the ancient traditions used by the Church Fathers.

Article II. For a temple of the True Faith to be fully consecrated and used as a holy place, it must:

Part 1. All temples of the True Faith are to posses a confessional where the servants of God might go to seek absolution for their sins.

Part 2. All temples of the Truth Faith are also mandated by this text to posses an altar to which the worshipers of God will face as the sacred liturgy is conducted. The altar is to be crafted out of the finest materials as a representation of  the tabernacle of Horen which is found in the Scroll of Gospel.

Part 3. All Temples of the True Faith are to posses a veil made of wood, a physical barrier between the tabernacle of the temple and the outside world, with a lining of gold between the gate so to keep any unholy being from crossing. Around the frame of the Iconostasis images of the Saints, Aenguls, and Prophets are to be placed to symbolise their real presence watching over us from the Skies above.

Article III.  For a clergyman to be fit to do the holy Liturgy and deliver the sacrament of the Divine Word he must wear certain vestments, each with their meaning, said vestments are:

Part 1. An alb, which represents the pure state of a clergyman while hosting the Liturgy, a priest must confess before administering the sacrament of the Divine Word.

Part 2. A stole, which represents the divine sacrament of ordination which allows the priest to administer the sacraments through God’s grace.

Part 3. A cross of lorraine, which represents the ever presence of God, the cross must be worn next to the heart to represent that the cleric has God in his heart as he administers the sacrament.

Part 4. When a Bishop is administering the sacrament of Divine Word he is to be dressed with the Laurels of Horen, but unlike the High Priest, they are to be green thus freshly cut.

Part 5. When a Bishop if administering the sacrament of Divine Word he is to have his crosier for the first and the last blessing of the liturgy.

  11. I've know Ziko for over two years now and from my experience with him I know he is highly qualified to take on this position. Whether it be on our friend's build servers or on LotC itself his skills are really impressive. I remember the builds he crafted when he was an ET a year or so back... they were the best event builds I've ever seen. Since his absence I haven't been impressed with what I've seen recently. Good luck Ziko!! And of course... +1
