  1. MC Name: QGloaf Character Name: Bofthal Treebeard Character Age: 35 Appearance: Typical Forest Dwarf except for the red hair and beard. Short Biography: Content with his peaceful life in Kal'Arkon, Bofthal worked hard with his clan to help their trade, but he was without any special ambition. His clanmates often called him out on this, saying he was not fit to be a Treebeard if he didn't aim for the skies of luxury and comfort. However, after witnessing the massacre committed by the unknown beast, he decided he wanted to help in some way. He thought long and hard, and eventually came to the conclusion that his best bet would be the Druids, with his inclination towards helping others, so he packed up, and left his clan's luxurious abodes to find one of the Druids' Groves. ((I didn't know I'd need to apply to the Treebeards to use the name - if it's not okay I can change it. Also, if there's any other detail needed, please tell me.)) 3. Out-Of-Character Information What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: - QGloaf How old are you?: - 22 Have you ever roleplayed on a minecraft server before? If so, where?: - Yes, on /tg/craft for a short while. Have you applied to this server before? (Please link past applications): - No. How did you hear about us?: - Searched for "Minecraft server with actual roleplaying" and this one came up. What do you think the server will be like? - I hope it'll be acceptive, mature and a great roleplaying environment. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes. What’s the rule you agree with the most?: - The "no ERP" rule. Do you understand combat rules, and what you can and can’t do if you do choose to roleplay as a villain?:- Yes. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so maybe we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules):- Do I understand correctly that if my character dies, I don't need to make a new one, and they forget what happened to them that led up to their death? Definitions These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers or check on our wiki, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! What is roleplaying?: - Creating a character of your own, and acting as if you were in their shoes, playing out their personalities, quirks, and motivations. What’s metagaming?: - Using knowledge "outside of the game", knowledge that my character cannot possibly know in-universe. What’s powergaming?: - Being oppressive in roleplaying, i.e. "I can easily defeat you, you die screaming without being able to do anything". It's like telling the other players that from now on they cannot harm you in any way. In short: god-moding. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Content with his peaceful life in Kal'Arkon, Bofthal worked hard with his clan to help their trade, but he was without any special ambition. His clanmates often called him out on this, saying he was not fit to be a Treebeard if he didn't aim for the skies of luxury and comfort. He thought long and hard, and eventually came to the conclusion that his best bet would be the Druids, with his inclination towards helping others, so he packed up, and left his clan's luxurious abodes to find one of the Druids' Groves. What are they like? (personality): - Peaceful, almost meek, a very hard worker often disregarding his own comfort and placing others' benefit first. He tries very hard to repress his curse of greed, shared with his whole race, and generally tries to lead other dwarves away from it, except those from his clan, who are in his opinion are already too deep in it. What are their ambitions?: - To become a Druid and help wherever they can against the horrors of the world; and to weaken the curse's grasp on his race. Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Bofthal is a talented woodworker, and generally skilled in farming, breeding and various peasantry-related tasks. Because of spending his life with this, he has scarcely any fighting training outside of being adequate with a bow - he had to hunt some days. Give us a description of how they look?: - Gaunt features hidden by a thick red beard and long, slightly shabby hair matching in color. (I couldn't find a long red-haired skin) He often wears comfortable work clothing suited for long trips in the woods. His green eyes often avert their gaze from others. His voice is coarse from all the pipe-smoking, a habit he picked up from his uncle which developed into a steadily stronger addiction to tobacco. Please give us a screenshot of your character’s skin: - This is all I could muster, I hope it'll be enough. Also, sorry for the occasional weird English, it's not my native language. If there's anything wrong with the backstory, please tell me and I'll rewrite.
