    Kingdom of Sardinia-Piedmont Military: 70'000 infantry 4'000 cavalry 90 guns For centuries, Italy had been a disunited cluster of states, subject to the arbitrary whims of greater powers. However, in the revolutions of 1848, Italy was shaken by nationalistic desires to unite and although they ultimately failed, the seeds of amalgamation were firmly sown. Sardinia-Piedmont was in a favourable position, merely a year ago they had won the support of Napoleon III who had signed the Pact of Plombieres. With French aid, they had managed to wrestle control of Lombardy, Modena, Tuscany, Parma and the Legations from Austria-Hungary and in exchange, Sardinia would cede Savoy and Nice. Meanwhile, in the south, Giuseppe Garibaldi had been campaigning restlessly against the Kingdom of Two Sicilies and had the upper hand, having secured much of Naples. The British Empire's offer for the sales of arms was also accepted, Sardinia-Piedmont would begin to arm their men with the relatively technologically advanced British weapons. The Papal States would be asked for military access so two corps led by Fanti and Cialdini of about 45'000 men could be sent south to facilitate Garibaldi's campaign. Meanwhile, Victor Emmanuel would ask for British or Prussian aid in training the Sardinian armed forces, the Italians' armies were notorious for being a ragtag, undisciplined militia. Sardinia planned to rectify this by building a stable core for the new Sardinian Army, foreign military aid would be required though in the form of officers and training.

Having swindled his elder siblings out of their inheritance, Ardenus had managed to succeed his father as King of Kvach. The Kingdom of Kvatch had remained largely unaffected by the sedition, factionalism and secession that plagued the Empire and its successor states. Yet, Ardenus was discontent with just a mere throne, he yearned for more... for the Imperial Crown. The choas caused by Alessia and the contested Emperor's deaths would allow him to conquer the weakened states that had only recently gained their autonomy before the Legions of the Heartland and Colovia could. His eyes were fixated to the west, towards Skingrad and the port town of Anvil. Though he was a good adminstrator and diplomat, Ardenus lacked military aptitude and so he had to be prudent in who he attacked, he was also sorely in need of a military alliance, namely with the Heartlands and since he was unmarried, he would propose to marry a close relative of King Tulius. There was also an issue with the military, the soldiers were inexperienced, lacked discipline and there was an evident lack of officers. King Ardenus planned to rectify this by sending out word to his marshal for the soldiers to begin a strenous military regimen and training, in hopes of making a force that could atleast contend with that of nations like Colobvia. TL;DR A missive asking for a marriage proposal and non-aggression pact is sent to the Heartlands. Increased military activity in the capital and western border

    Third Mexican Empire With crisis averted, the Mexicans breath a sigh of relief. Though, a pandemic disease has been identified in Mexico City during a check-up. Though the outbreak is highly infective, the mortality rate is low, much to the solace of the country. Infected patients are simply quarantined whilst a cure is developed. Meanwhile, the Coraza project was an astounding success, just months after the construction and testing, a dozen prototypes are released for willing troops to test, however, due to the short time taken, Mexico begins to work on improving the model, such as improving the mobility of the armour by adding jump boosters and decreasing the restriction the user has whilst inside, including expanding on the integrated Viper Shades' HUD (1 page). Mexico has also become increasingly alarmed at the fighting in Latin America and withdraws 45'000 of their 50'000 men from Western Cuba to Panama. The previously dug in 400'000 who were preparing for an eastern defense are also called south. They are then armed with freshly assembled Charlie Rays recently assembled at the factories in preparation for total war. 500 Wolf Tanks are also sent south. Emperor Maximilian also asks the U.S for the new Cyclopes drones and if possible, the blueprints too.

    Mexico Reaction Post Mexico eagerly accepts the USA's offer for technological collaboration and thanks the U.S for supporting their Coraza project. If interested, the US could acquire the schematics to assemble the Coraza if the prototype is successful.

    Third Mexican Empire Mexico's morale is at an all time high, their occupation of western Cuba and various other military successes have bolstered recruitment considerably. The recruitment drive done 3-4 years ago was a resounding success as an extra 500'000 frontline forces augmenting their 350'000 though only 100'000 of them are armed with Charlie Rays. The reserve personnel numbers only increase by an additional 50'000 though. Once again, Mexico prepares for war. Factories are sent into overdrive in an attempt to meet a quota of 900'000 Charlie Rays and 500 American Wolf Tanks (8 pages) to reinforce the Mexican army. The elite units are called from maintaining stability in the south and are shipped to Mexican Cuba in preparation of something big. The bulk of the army, numbering about 400'000, is positioned to defend the eastern coast. Mexico begins to fortify and entrench the coastline, their congregation of dated ships begin patrolling the Mexican Gulf. The Emperor meets with the US President, Henry Baker to discuss their strategy in the event of total war. Mexico also wishes to contend with the European powers in terms of technology and has begun to work on a few projects with their recently educated great minds, brought on by the widespread encouragement of public schooling. The most notable of which is this: The Coraza (12 pages) Mexico is not exactly reputed to being a leading technological power with genius scientists but it has improved considerably since the early 21st century to aspire to such bold undertakings like this. Using the same technology as the American Wolf Tanks and Charlie Rays, Mexico has begun to develop a suit of armour intended to be mobile and capable of high shock and weapon resistance. It would contain vital organ monitors, a communication device and incorporate American Viper Shades into its helm. Though, due to the Mexico's lacking research ability, the armour is not expected to be released until the next decade. This project is highly-classified, the only people aware of it are the Emperor himself and the USA who are asked if they would like to partake in this ambitious project (4 pages taken off time if USA does accept // P.S please tell me if this is powergamey and I will adjust it accordingly)
