  1. John VIII, who had been flicking through the channels of his canonflix sky-TV system, paused at a channel relating to his descendants, who had forsaken his name. He looked over at a certain zealous companion @Harald. "This young princeling seems to be a rather confused one. The notion that these new households continue to forge a legacy distinct from their ancestors brings me great joy. The youth can only achieve greatness comparable to their predecessors if they understand that history is not a thing to be replicated and infatuated with, and instead choose to design their own reality. However, the act of condemning the culture from which they derive is an ill-advised pursuit. Indeed, how is the modern peer of this ambitious generation to establish his own identity, if he insists upon suppressing his origins. This young lords story, and for that matter the story of this generation, cannot be told without first telling its beginning, which is unavoidably grounded in the history he now distances himself from. I am left to wonder how it came to this point, that this lord finds his own ilk in Balain more repugnant than the Ferrymen, who suppress his identity and history. Is it fear, hatred, disgust, ignorance, or mere boredom that fuels him?"

John tossed a handful of popcorn into his mouth, chewing thoughtfully, before looking back to his old friend. "Maybe we'll find out next week." He shrugged, and flipped the channel to a football match between the best athletes of the fourth and fifth empire, because, of course, there was a channel for everything in the seven skies.

  2. John VIII sips a daiquiri on his favorite beach in the seven skies. At his right hand side, a certain eternally loyal friend of a Galbraith @sergisala mentions the news of a Heartland unification effort amongst their corporeal descendants. The deceased Emperor exclaims his approval, "well it's about damn time!"

  3. George I, the Black Knight of White Peak, Prince of Temesch, Landgrave of Aeldin, Arbiter of Justice over the southern territories receives this missive. Chewing a cherry tomato, juices dripping down his chin, he waves for his cart carriers. "We must depart immediately. To celebrate this momentous occasion with wine and wenches. The wedding of a century..." he would have continued but was suddenly overcome by a fit coughing, having choked on those overripe tomatoes.

Most importantly within the Augustine is His Majesty’s many courtiers, and staff that certainly keep the palace moving as it always has in allowing for a mark to be made on the Empire as a whole from within the pristine walls of the palace.

Personal Appeal (Optional): Being honest I'm not the best builder. I am up for any suggestions or feedback on things I can add to make it better if needed. I prefer to keep the open spaces the same if possible. the building portfolio is the building and area I plan to put in the spot. Also I can give a Litematica Schematic of the building and area in the pictures.

The Land Directive Board of Review accepts this application. The Home Secretary @Jameson_hshall assist you in improving the build. You are invited to meet with representatives of the board of review after this Saint's Evening's court session, for your in person interview before the final review stage. Contact the Vice Chancellor Markosi#3008 to arrange a time.

Also. I was interested in a tavern as well, But lack the 2000 minas. Is there any way to pay a little each week in addition to the tax to run one? Just wondering, and the farm is much more important to me if I had to choose.

The idea behind taverns is to have communities grow around them, which is the purpose of the price point. Ideally, you can get a few investors interested in starting up a unique community and Imperial sub-culture, and willing to drive activity and events. Contact me on discord for more information, but the price point is fixed. zombieman#5125

  10. His Imperial Majesty grants assent to the Petrine Laurel Reinstatement Act.

His Imperial Majesty withholds assent to the Powers of Succession Amendment of 1823, on the following conditions:

    • We advise that Section I is amended to give the House of Lords the ability to identify the proper heir of a deceased Lord, according to the Oren Revised Code's succession laws. They may not have the power to designate an heir, or withhold a title, but instead their recognition of the rightful heir might be a point of reference in the event of a succession dispute. Succession must occur immediately upon the death of the previous peer to their legal heir.
    • We advise that Section II specifies that the peers in question must be convicted felons by the Imperial Courts.
    • We advise that Section II requires the Emperor's assent in order to enforce succession. This succession would be granted as advice from the Lords to the Crown.
    • We advise that Section II Part A is rephrased so as not to imply that the peers of the realm maintain their titles in any governing capacity.

I am concerned about the growing reports of cultists and dark magi throughout Almaris and the Empire. More and more reports of these unholy cults have been cropping up around the world. They must be stopped at all costs, for the safety of my subjects and the realm." @bee
