Whilst browsing the internet for a good roleplay server after recently deciding to try it on minecraft. DEFINITIONS: Roleplaying: Immersing yourself in the POV of the 'Character' you are playing rather than the POV of yourself. Metagaming: Using out of universe info to effect in-game choices (for videogames at least.) Powergaming: Ignoring aspects of games such as storytelling and atmosphere to become more powerful/maxamising progress. IN-CHARACTER INFO Characters name: Garret Charaters gender: Male Characters race: Human/an Ancient Characters age: 473/32 (i'll get to that, if not allowed ignore the first biography and read the second biography, the first one was just an idea that sprang to mind) Biography: Centurys ago their were and an ancient race of mages called the Ancients that were decendants of the great Horan. They kept to themselves and remmained almost completely unnoticed their entire, rather long existance and intended to keep it that way untill one fateful day with a storm brewing on the horizon and the sun taking shelter behind the clouds, an army of demons, decendants of Iblees that had descovered the Ancients began to swarm the underground lost city of Auranos. The ghastly hord of demons continued their onslaught througout the city, murdering every man, woman and child in sight. The elders of the city began to hatch a plan to save their race but possibly at a great cost. they would merge all of their power to create one being able to live a thousand years and at the same time, deliver a blast of energy that would wipe out the entire city and stop the demons from reaching any other beings on the planet. This 'Saviour' was to be named Garret after the former High Elder (before the councel of elders was formed) and was to be placed under human care so that he may one day discover his true identity and bring back the Ancient's way of life, and perhaps, one day, help rebuild the city of Auranos to its former glory and claim the throne as High Elder. So now, forced to conceal his true identity as to not arouse suspicion of his origin he continues his quest to find the lost city of auranos, gather the last possible remaining Ancients and guard the people of Aegis from the hidden threats of the void once more. Biography 2: Garret was born and raised in Oren with a decently well off family, however, things were not as perfect as they may have seemed. Garret, once he had come of age, had moved out of his family home and began to travel from place to place, visiting large kingdoms and small towns trying to find a place to settle down before realising that maybe traveling, rather than settling down, aws the way to go for him. After seeing many differant ways the people of his homeland lived he made on of the biggest decisions in his life. He made the decidion to become a theif, a robin hood, using a combination of his advanced archery and small arms combat training, skilled acrobatics and knowledge of the art of stealth to steal from the rich and give back to the ones in need. So today Garret is roaming from city to city , trying to even out the large gaps in wealth and attempting to remain anonymous while doing so. Personality traits: Wise, witty, loyal, perceptive and determined. Ambitions: ~BIO-1: To restore the city of Auranos to its former glory and protect the people of Aeigis from the dangers of the void once more. ~BIO-2: Even the overall wealth gap of Aegis and restore peace and happines to the people. strengths/talents: Talented acrobatic, good at moving quietly and stealthily, immensly experienced archer and a mage-in-training. Weaknesses/inabilities: Overly loyal to the fwe friends he has, Dosnt make friends very easily, inexperienced and un-skileld at hand-to-hand combat, weak against magic and not a very good swimmer.
