Have you been previously banned (be it a forum or server ban) and under what circumstances did you receive this ban?: Never been banned

Have you ever received warning points and what actions were committed to receive such points?: Got a point worth 0 points for potentially annoying another member of the community.

Moderating the forums is a very time dependant staff position. How much time, on average, would you be able to dedicate to moderating?: about 4 hours on week days and pretty much ranging from any amount of time at the weekends.

What experience do you have using the LotC forums or any forum in general?: Been using the LoTC forums for over three years now and I was a FM previously.

What does it mean to be a Forum Moderator, in your own words? What responsibilities does the Forum Moderator have to carry out  in order to successfully do their job?:

Non-bias - A very important element of being a FM, showcased by staff members in the past as a non biased FM can operate to the best of their abilities without limitations and being unfair on the player base.

A sense of humour - The ability to tell the difference between an honest, lighthearted joke and what is a genuine jab at someone or crossing the line as it was is very important and something that has been sincerely lacking in the past of the FM team. I am an earnest believer in the fact that LoTC should not be a safe space and many punish people for thinking the same.

Productivity - A serious issue last time I was on the team, people seem to have the idea that being a FM is just moderating current friends and hiding posts. Another important aspect of being on the team is cleaning out the old and archiving posts which is a large part of what I did last time I was on the team.

Have you ever held a staff position here on LotC? Do you currently hold any other staff positions? If so, list them and highlight something about the team that you enjoyed/enjoy.:

Application and Wiki Team - I enjoyed answering people's questions about their applications and the server in general, finding it to be a very pleasing and satisfying job.

Event Team - I found a sense of gratification from throwing events for players and putting in effort to make meaningful eventlines, in particular a non scripted eventline I did about a demigryph was my favourite as it involved a large number of players and led to players writing forum posts about it.

Forum Team - I enjoyed the protocols and template in which things were managed as well as keeping threads on topic and making sure things did not get out of hand.

Why should you be a Forum Moderator? What can you bring forward to the team that allows you to moderate and enforce the conduct of the forums?: I should be a forum moderator and I believe I was a good one before because as an former AT and FM I spent large amounts of time on the forums and know how to handle players who don't quite understand how the forum works and how to answer any questions they might have. I also try to be as unbiased as I possibly can and I wouldn't question, as I didn't before, giving my personal friends warning points if they are in the wrong.

What characteristics do you posses that makes you stand out from any other applicant?: There are no other applicants. On a serious note though, I feel I am a calm, calculated person who can easily diffuse situations or stop them before becoming too large an issue by finding an appropriate answer or alternative that suits all parties as best as it can, which is an important trait needed in being a FM.

Are there members of the current Forum Moderation Team that you do not get along with or see a problem with working with in the future? If so, what is it that could hinder your ability to work together. Remember, this is a team and working together is the main foundation of a team.: I've never had interactions with half the current team and the other half I have no especially negative or positive opinions about.

How long do you plan to stay on the team?: As long as I feel I'm making a productive difference.

Are there any extra things you'd like to mention?: Yeah, idk how Mitt0 became FM Director

I don't get why you're arguing with me on this, this isn't relevant to my point at all. I'm saying victorious villains and people who defeat villains should both try and abstain from killing the player with minimal rp or at all if possible. To me that is a big issue with combat rp in general.

The outcome of defeat for a villain is almost invariably death too so...is this a villain thing?

Just cause it's an issue with other types of roleplay, which I agree it is, doesn't mean it's still not an issue with villain rp and should be addressed or hopefully taken onboard by some people reading this thread.

  5. I think the biggest issue with a lot of villian rp is that the villain (if he wins) almost always kills the victim, that doesn't allow for any rp to follow from it or character development. Personally, if I every take part in what would be described as villian rp I leave the victim alive unless it's 100% necessary for rp purposes.
