OOC MC Name: Safety_Torch__ RP Name: Olivia Neofire IC She purses her lips, thinking for a long moment, then replies softly but with a certainty behind it, "If it's not too much to ask for... I want to learn the art of illusion. So.. books, or maybe even a teacher.." she smiles, closing her eyes "Yeah. That's what I want." She then proceeds to write this request in the scroll in her careful, clean way of writing. OOC Item: Books about illusion and accessing the void and/or someone who would be willing to teach her illusion, as she feels completely useless how she is now, but Olivia has always been very clever and smart, so she feels that something involving use of the mind is more her style.

As far as I know, I didn't die before I logged off. I remember logging off normally and when I logged back in this happened. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like I would remember dying.

Hi everyone, so.. I logged in a minute ago and was dead for some reason.. I now have half the minas I had before (50.5 out of 101)and none of my items. Is this supposed to happen? o_O If it is then could you tell me why, and if not then.. yeah, now you about a bug, I guess. Thanks for reading.

Hi guys, after my application was accepted I realized that I'm really not as comfortable with my character as I thought, and was wondering if I could just.. remove it, since it hasn't actually gone through anything whatsoever yet, and spend a little more time thinking about a new one. What’s the rule you agree with the most?: I think the rules I agree with the most are "No discrimination or prejudice" and "No hacking", as these are the things that really annoy me when people do them. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): Well, the sexual roleplay rule sort of confused me, because in another part it says "No intercourse with a character younger than 18." Does this mean that it's allowed if they're over 18? I don't really intend on participating in any roleplay like that, but this just seems sort of contradictory to me. How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I searched for hours on many different server lists looking for a quality Roleplay server, and LotC looked particularly interesting so I checked it out, and well, here I am. What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the act of taking the part of another being or acting out a role which is usually fictional or different from your actual self, and can be done in a variety of different ways including text and live-action (LARP). What is metagaming?: Metagaming means using knowledge that you've acquired IRL as though your character also has that knowledge even though the character was never in a position to know about it. (e.g. OOC someone says "Im gonna declare war!" and then IC the person that would've been the victim of the declaring starts preparing for war ahead of time, thus giving them an advantage that the character shouldn't have been capable of having.) What is powergaming?: Powergaming is when you declare that your action succeeded without giving the other person/people a chance to respond. An example of this would be something like, "I swing my sword at your head and it slices through your brain, ending your life swiftly." It's in one line, so the victim literally had no time to respond. In-Character Information Character’s name: Ahk'tul (Ock-tool) Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Kharajyr - Kha'Pantera Character’s age: 19 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): "I CARE NOT WHAT METZILI OR ANY OF YOU THINK!" he screamed, inches away from the man's face. The moonblade had been quietly poking at him, and had finally gotten the reaction he expected. In one swift movement, he was held down, a knee in his back and arms behind him. "I'm terribly sorry you feel that way," the moonblade whispered coldly in his ear, "anything else you'd like to say?" He mustered a chuckle, hoping to discourage the man holding him down, "it was.. it was only a.." Before he could finish, the Dra' brought his hand down hard on his head and the world went dark. That was all Ahk'tul knew of his Patta. The rest of he memories and experiences that he may have remembered were gone, shadowed by this event which he would never forget. His Patta was a strong and honourable warrior, or so he's been told, but on that horrible day, he spoke out against Metztli in the temple. Though Ahk'tul didn't understand what was going on at the time, he's been told that his Patta was sacrificed to Metzili for this act, and his mother as well, because she spoke out after her Munn's sacrifice. He must now live under the dark shadow of his Patta with no mother to teach him, and has vowed to become stronger, faster, and smarter than his Patta, and make up for that mistake. Personality Traits: Since Ahk'tul was young, he often showed a different way of perceiving the world than the others. He is very cautious and pays close attention to everything. Fears: He fears that people will look at him and just see the child of a blasphemous fool rather than seeing him for who he is. Ambitions: Ahk'tul looks up to the Moonblades, and treats them with the utmost respect. He dreams of one day standing among them as one of the Tlatlanni's assassins or spies. Strengths/Talents: His remarkably fast reflexes and quick thinking allows Ahk'tul to judge situations and hastily react to them, which can give him a fairly strong advantage. He is also good at sneaking and hiding. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Ahk'tul often finds it hard to socialize, and much prefers secluded places. He is dedicated to learning, distancing himself from others in favor of studying combat techniques and expanding his general knowledge. I used this base Pantera skin and added different clothing. I'll probably consider paying for someone to make me a better one later.
