Even though it is not based on Middlearth, I found it to have an interesting lore and I decided to join. Character’s name: Torchell Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Wood elf Character’s age:63 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Torchell was born in Cerulin, the town of the Wood Elves. He lived happily with his parents in there. From the time he was born, Torchell was a nature lover. He and his family often travelled to the forests of Adrallan and spent time there. As a kid, he loved animals, trees and all the world around him. But soon the happy times ended. It happened when he was spending his time at the forests of Adrallan with his family. He was 20 years old and still believed that the world is a perfect place where no evil existed. But sadly there were bandits in the forest that day. He and his family got ambushed by them. The bandits killed his parents but kept Torchell alive. They decided to sell him as a slave to the orcs. Torchell was very sad and depressed because of the death of his parents and he lost hope and accepted his fate. He served as a slave for the orcs quite a while. They used him for entertainment(for they thought of elves very lowly), an also he did all the cooking for them, because they themselves didn’t cook very well. When he wouldn’t do the task they gave him in time, they would punish him by putting him in a cage without food for a day or two. After that he had to be more careful to not displease the orcs, because then they would cage him again. And so he lived with the orcs for quite a while until one day he got an opportunity. He was 31 years old by that time, and he got used to his life. But that day everything changed. The orcs were invaded by men from the city of Montfort. There was a lot of blood spilt that night. But while the orc were battling with men, Torchell got his chance to run away. He left the orc camp and was free at last. But every town he went to, he felt that he didn’t belong there. After some time he travelled to the forests of Adrallan, the place he once loved. He spent a lot of time there, he trained his archery skill and became a great archer. Also he was very close to nature. He spent a lot of time in the woods and he felt like all the trees and animals were a part of him. He lived peacefully in there away from all the fuss of the world. And he did not want to leave, he loved the peace and quiet and he didn’t want to return to the world, full of hatred and war. He was a very curious elf and he liked to investigate different parts of the forest. But after all the years spent in the forest, Torchell still could not find himself, he didn’t know where he belonged to and what was his purpose in the world. So, after a lot of thinking he decided to leave the forest and travel around Athera, searching for the purpose of his life. That’s where his adventure starts… Personality Traits: Intelligent, curious and kind. He can understand the feelings of others, and gladly helps if asked. He loves nature and often spends time in the wild. He prefers not to fight, he would rather negotiate instead.He is a loner and usually travels alone - it is sometimes hard for him to socialize with people because of all the time he spent alone in the woods. But he is loyal and if he finds a friend, he will stand for him to the very end. Ambitions: To travel the world, searching his purpose in it. Strengths/Talents: Good archery skills, also a good cook. He is smart and quite fast, he can understand the feelings of others. Weaknesses/Inabilities: He is not a fighter, and he is afraid of war. Also he is usually a loner, because of all the time he spent alone in the woods.
