This action has happened upon a litany of a self-evident pattern of Renatian state aggression:

We are reminded that the genesis of this so-called “kingdom” was due in part by the kinslaying and barbaric onslaught of toppling the Holy Orenian Empire, seizing for themselves a title at the cost of the blood of others. Woe to them for cruelly beheading a child of just thirteen years, parading this feat as a justification of their uncivil pursuits. They accuse our denizens of exuding infidelity to the Scrolls and tout the honorific of Fidei Defensor, but what graver sin is to be had than that of kinslaying?

We are reminded that the Renatian state employs the use of non-human, non-Canonist allies because of their ambitions for a newly formed Orenian Empire.

Adelynn Sarkozy scoffs in disgust, finding the truth of the statement simply despicable.  "May GOD have mercy on their menacing souls." she utters out in a gentle voice.

What map did you join during?: Athera.

Do you have access to a Microphone?: Yes.

Average Daily Play Time?: A few hours a day. I am currently able to provide about 3-4 hours a day, but it is subject to revision when I start pre-med courses over the summer, settling in about 2-3 hours a day.

Have you ever been banned before?: No.

Have you ever held a staff position on Lord of the Craft? If so, for how long?:

Yes, I was previously an ET Actor for roughly a month. The short-term staff position on the Event Team ultimately resulted in my removal due to the fact that I was not able to perform a certain number of events during the week. (A mutual recognition on my behalf due to IRL family predicaments). Yet, I can say that the hard work with LT members was knowledgeable and an enjoyable adventure! I implemented both realistic and fantasy situations for players and earned both positive and constructive feedback with an elaboration on how the members and players thought the event played out. I am grateful for being able to both provide fun and have it as a former ET Actor.

Why do you want to join the GM Team?:

It’s quite ingenious, I aspire to assist the server! I have plenty of time, a stable understanding of the rules, and exhibit enough competence to use what general knowledge I learned during my short-term ET reign to make it easier on those who potentially would teach me. In further elaboration, I believe I should be on the Game Moderation Team because I have a thorough understanding of the base premise of moderation; rules should be obeyed. They’re there to protect individuals from harm or otherwise invoking toxicity and vile commentaries, content, incidents, etc. across the server as a whole.

That it is also imperative that the server rules are adhered to, but I also believe that leniency is key when in due moderation, as I had wished to experience myself in the past. I’m committed to approaching administrative tasks with tenacity and attention to detail, which many players do not seem to have from a GM when dealing with a chaotic situation. I am also an extremely approachable individual, people can commune with me on matters that are bothering them in correlation to specific individuals that may potentially be harassing them; without the threat of a leak. In due addition to this, I have spent a long, long time on this server, and therefore I have an understanding of the communities and how to interact with the varying groups that inhabit the server.

Have you applied for this position before and been denied? If so, link the application:

Anything else you want to tell us?:

Please allow me to play this G(M) string like a fascist! Jk… I’m just an orchdork, but do enjoy this wonderful piece:

Have you been previously banned (be it a forum or server ban) and under what circumstances did you receive this ban?:

I have never received a server ban.

Have you ever received warning points and what did you do to receive those points?:

Acknowledged | June 26, 2016: Some friends and I were on the server, during the ongoing RP they proceeded to emote inappropriately in a joking manner while I was AFK and two of them were dealt server bans for their actions. I thought one of the memes from the RP were worth sharing and posted a screenshot as a status update. I then had been issued a warning with no points applied.

Acknowledged | June 19, 2017: My persona had slain a dark mage with a gathering of friends, there had been a photo made of our MC character’s faces on people who acted in a movie who share a similar situational setting to the RP. I did not receive a warning for this, but I do realize, that type of content is not appropriate for the forums and submitted an apology and posted an accepted appeal.

Moderating the forums is a very time dependent staff position. How much time, on average, would you be able to dedicate to moderating?:

I am currently able to provide about 4-5 hours a day, but it is subject to revision when I start college courses over the summer, settling in about 3-4 hours a day.

Have you ever held a staff position here on LoTC? Do you currently hold any other staff positions? If so, list them and highlight something about the team that you enjoyed/enjoy:

I have held short-term a staff position on the Event Team, but was ultimately removed due to ‘inactivity’. (A mutual understanding on my behalf due to IRL family predicaments.) Yet, I can say that implementing events for players and earning positive feedback with an elaboration on how they had fun was quite heartwarming.

Why should you be a FM? What can you bring to our team in regards to moderating and enforcing the rules on the forums?:

I believe I should be on the Forum Moderation Team because I have a thorough understanding of the base premise of moderation; rules should be obeyed. They’re there to protect individuals from harm or otherwise invoking toxicity and vile commentaries, content, etc. across the forums as a whole. It is imperative that the forum rules are adhered to, but I also believe that leniency is key when in due moderation, as I had wished to experience myself in the past. In due addition to this, I have spent a long, long time on this server, and therefore I have an understanding of the communities and how to interact with the varying groups that inhabit the server

What traits do you have that make you stand out from any other applicant?:

I am confident that my passion and dedication to the server distribute positive qualities and I consider them beneficial to the Forum Team.

    Are you familiar with ModeratorCP?:

There is a familiarity, if I am not mistaken, a Moderator CP is a tool to help support the moderator detect and manage any content that needs attention. Also, equips the moderator with means to help make their job less stressful.

How long do you plan to stay on the team?:

As long as I am wanted!

"Has one arrived from Kypris?" she asks, tears beginning to stain her cheeks as the man would subtly inform her one had not. "Why hasn't she responded.." the Elfess whimpers out as she trails back to her humble abode.

  6. Luke is literally so compassionate, friendly, competent, always willing to contribute a helping hand, and is so so understanding! I know that if he were GM, not only would he be committed fully to the job, but he also would find a way to make it enjoyable for everyone working on the team.  He holds values that Game Moderator should too hold and unfortunately some lack.

  8. Personally, I've had my riffs with iMattyz and despite it all, Matt is a rather lax and understanding guy. Not only is his accent +1, but he obtains capable skills and previous staff positional holdings only prove that he's more than competent for GM. Best of luck.

Not trying to be mean or anything, but if I remember correctly you played some really weird wraith creatures multiple times even if you were told to stop.

Usually I do not respond to feedback threads, but I'm sorry, that just isn't true. I spoke with current management at the time and was given permission. Before I'd play any fantasy creature that was far from the norm, I had asked permission. Then I would speak with a LT member to learn more about it.

In /e channel, I spoke about needing a builder for me and two other ET Actors at the time to complete an event. That's when you asked what type it was and I explained it was a Wraith event. You questioned if I had gotten previous permission and I said yes and gave you the current managers name at the time.

After that, you told me to speak to a certain GM and I did. I was told it was fine to finish that requested event, but to ensure that it was the last one. Indeed, it was the last wraith event /I/ performed.

Do you, or have you held, any other staff positions? Please mention if you are intending on applying for GM as an ET: (Other servers included.)

An antecedent to the Event Team as an actor.

As of right now, I do not hold ambition to apply for GM due to recent events. Though it is a great consideration in future tense.

Where do you grab inspiration from?:

Books! They're so different from a more modern approach. Books give intel on plot-twists, unique scenarios, and grasps a hold of imaginative ideas without having to remove fine detail.

What are your current list of characters, and are you willing to sacrifice any?:

    • Elizabeth Maria Barbanov
    • Kayah Sul'onn

I am willing to sacrifice my Elfess if necessary.

What race, or group, do your events best cater to?:

I've had played almost every race and believe to know the lore well. Meaning, I feel as if I could best cater to all of the racial groups. If only one is to be chosen, then the human RP player base. Former and latter events that I've organized and hosted have brought many of the groups together, wether it be Orc (Uruks), Humans, Mali (Elfen), or Kharajyr- even golems and some other RP'ers on mage accounts.

Based off of my old "Violino's Completed Events" logs, you will be able to note that there had been no bias towards any one particular group. Before doing any event, I worked with the Lore Team members to ensure everything was factual and legitimate. In doing so, I gained a lot of positive feedback from the player base.

What do you believe are the key factors for a successful event?:

None of these reasons should be lacked in a /successful/ event:

    • Player interaction. It should be enjoyable for everyone, not just me or a singular person or party alone.
    • Effort in placing detailed RP. If an event lacks detail in the elaboration of what is trying to be portrayed, then it doesn't seem as if it had been planned/ thought through thoroughly. In experience, I've noticed that it makes the scenario feel more realistic and fun for players.
    • LORE. Knowledge is power and by being well informed, it shows understanding from both sides, increases a level of entertainment between parties, and also makes the storyline/ character development accurate.
    • That it not only remains lore appropriate, but appropriate on the basis of being PG- 13 server.

Why do you want to be part of the team?:

When I was on the team previously, there was a sort of happiness given to me when making players excited or happy to produce a unique event. It made me want to continue in doing so, despite if there was misunderstanding or not. It was working through that, finding understanding, and acknowledging what is wanted. Especially, just being apart of something, being part of a group who sees it in the same light and understands is contenting.

Create three distinct event scenarios based on the servers lore that you would organize: (Keep in mind that these pitches are to the managers and the lead, no the community.)

    One to Three People

    "A Siren's Song"

A melody, gently humming from a mouth of a Siren passes through the grand spruce trees of Laureh'lin, home to the Mali'ame. Alluring and possessive, it pulls those nearby towards it. The closer their warrior type bodies drew, a sight that looks to be the pool of life,  swarms with a horrors laying beneath the watery surface. The waves pushed against the shore seemed passive, truly. The intertidal zone moving back, and forth; back, and forth. This pattern sends the weak-hearted to daze, however did not lessen the tensions for men. Back, and forth rambling filters throughout the air, clogging the sense they once had as the waves become vicious, purring a sound of violence, flapping of mermaid-like tails; with the mixture of howling screams. Back, and forth, the spectrum of livelihood. Survival or death. The Sirens devoured these men who had fallen into their trap of demise.  Back, and forth the waves shriek a scream of death as the water plunges swallowing those who resided with the only thing that resembled life. Back and forth goes the scream, not in a plurality but as a conglomeration of one. Bruised by the creatures, the rocks, and the water- the men frantically wailed about to the coastal-city in front of them, however not a soul to hear; either that or not a soul to care. It's an odd event, when such a lively event leaving all without it. The screams died down, so did the men. And nothing more. Just the crimson waves moving back, and forth.

    Five to Ten People

    "Ye ol' Mounts of Urguan"

The red-tinted branches swing above-head as the group roams about the cluttered mountains of Northern Urguan. As the individuals approach a tree taller than the others, the branches lay dormant. Perplexed, they look into the canopy, seeing nothing. However something sees them. A large gryphon plants its positioning feet onto the branch, leaning forward before spiraling towards the travelers, only audible from the wind pierced from speed. Clearing the leaves, the Golden like animal spins, gaining speed as its talons widen- gashing the individual closest to the tree. The two farthest individuals begin to back- peddle without a care for the injured. However three more entities sprout from the leaves, transitioning the dulled landscape filled with browns and tans into a blood path; as if plucking their beaks into a humanoid's fragile skin. Adding to the red sea upon the snow blanketed Earth which was soon to overfilled. Only one person remained unharmed-- he who simply laid down, quieting his breath. A peaceful act. One of minimal effort, producing optimal results. As he breathed in, the other four breathed out- for their last time. Yet a slender remainder of hope is left. A hole; a tunnel too small for the gryphon's wings to fit, but large enough for a Dwarven man. This may not have to be his last draw, but hopefully he can still manage to crawl.

    Twenty +1 People

    "Solace or Disharmony?"

"There is a riddle, one does tell. To let it be solved or to let it dwell? The longer it dwells the sicker the towns people get. As if a demon spread it's breath and all it does is seep into the skin. What is this riddle, you may ask? So that the current torture will come to pass. Well listen close to it my good friend. You'll hear it once and I will not bend to say it again.":

A lonely wanderer, wounded with iron, I am smitten with war-blades, sated with strife and satire,
Worn with the sword-edge; I have seen many battles, Much hazardous fighting, oft without hope
Of comforts or help in the carnage of war, I perish, and fall in the fighting of men.
    The leavings of hammers, the handiwork of smiths, Batter and bite me, hard-eged and sharp;
The brunt of the battle I am doomed to endure. In all the folk-stead no leech could I find
With wort or simple to heal my wounds; But day and night with the deadly blows
The marks of the war-blades double and deepen.

A figure stands straight, clad in an olden-time armor. Perhaps this would have been seen during the Duke's War. As old as it might be, it seems to be impenetrable. Hallow sounds; coughing of folk nearby are heard at each passing moment. Crimson blood. In dreadful irony, stains the hands of the villagers. Irony you question? Just keep on thinking. For this riddle holds the answer to more than one story. In the hand of a mystical looking being would be a sword, chiseled with cracks in each crevice, riddled with blood and ugly as the shrieking voice it spoke with. Time ticks, ticks, and ticks. Looking closely, not to the distraction of surrounding screams of agony or the still bodies layered in black warts before you, but to the figure. An answer lies. What does he miss past the plated armor that doesn't desist? Unlock the puzzle so that this situation may return to bliss.

    (Answer: Shield)

How long do you plan to be able to work on the team?:

As long as I'm able. I did not want to leave the ET nor (from my understanding) give a reason of inactivity or abuse to be asked to step down. It had been enforced due to IRL complications regarding familial illness. Based off of the work I produced and majority of complimenting feedback, I was told that in the future I should re-apply!
