  1. Long ago, there were none in the world but the gods. The gods created Julos, and within it they placed the elves, perfect creatures created in the gods’ own image. At first there were just three elves. One was Lital, another was Ishtil, and the last was Jirisin. Over time, Lital and Jirisin fell in love. Ishtil, jealous of the two, went to the gods and demanded they create one that he could love. The gods refused and turned away from him. Furious, Ishtil began to plot his revenge. Unable to touch the gods, he turned his anger upon the two lovers. He went to them in disguise, under the name Gornuk. Glad for the company, Lital and Jirisin prepared a meal, discussing how the third elf, Ishtil, was pathetic and useless. Hearing this, the anger that he felt turned to rage, and he leapt upon Lital, killing him. With blood on his hands, he fled to the outlands, banished by the gods. Weeping, Jirisin went to the gods. Hearing her pleas, the gods took pity on her and took the body of the slain Lital and turned his flesh into children for Jirisin to care for. Years later, many of the children grew tired of their homes and decided to leave. The most curious of them travelled to the south and encountered creatures called the asura, with whom they shared their knowledge. The most noble of the elves travelled to the west where they met a much weaker and savage race known as humans, with whom they shared their skills of leadership. The craftiest of the elves continued to delve into the mountains and discovered the dwarves, with whom they shared their skills of creation. The most foolhardy of the elves, however, went to the north to seek greater power, not heeding the words of their mother. There, they encountered a dark power that they could not contain and became the älfar. The most powerful of the elves remained in the east, where they learned to master magic, raising their kingdoms from the land of Julos and its problems. The elves that left their kingdoms, branded as traitors by their brothers and sisters, were cast out and banished to the world of mortals. Without the power of magic flowing through the lands of the elves, they slowly faded away, until finally, they ceased to exist. Julos went on and forgot the elves. Their history turned to story, from story to myth, and myth to legend, until finally, that too, faded like the elves of old.
  2. The Floreck Clan A culture, a people Before you delve any deeper into this document, understand that our culture is VERY different and unique. Our clan accepts all races. For confidentiality only a VERY VERY small fraction of our culture and lore are being placed in this paper. The following section on the three tribes is a direct excerpt from an ancient document. You may continue good friends. -Jacob Floreck of the Levii tribe. The Three Tribes The three tribes are the original 3 dwarven settlements, brought together by Dargrind Floreck, that existed in the old lands, before travelling to the Islands of Axios to seek new wealth, land, and people. In-Character Information Character’s name: Draco Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Dark Elf Character’s age: 51 Biography: Draco's mother died in childbirth. He never knew his father. He likes to believe that his father never came to him because he was off bravely fighting a war for one of the elven kings. Having been a troublesome child, none of the other elves raised him. Instead, they left him in the woods of Vanderfell to fend for himself. Thankfully, a human on a hunting trip found him and saved him from a pack of ravenous wolves. The human then smuggled the young elven boy into his home at Siegrad. When Draco was 17, he began to help his adopted human father on hunting trips. Hunting was his passion for years, increasing his accuracy with a bow, but when he arrived at the age of 29, he began to take an interest in the art of woodworking. He loved how the human craftsman worked swiftly with their hands to make beautiful works of art out of wood and metals such as gold and iron. He became an apprentice at the age of 35 and quickly caught on to the craft. He was soon famous throughout the land. He moved from town to town, selling his works, and was even invited to create items for wealthy lords. Unfortunately, on a trip in his twelfth year of being a craftsman, at the age of 42, he and his master were ambushed by rogue humans in the woods. His master was killed, and Draco was beaten within a few inches of death. Yet again, Lady Luck smiled down upon Draco, and a group of hunting elves found him. They took him to the Kingdom of Oren, where they healed him. They soon learned who he was, and when he told the elves his story, they grew a liking to him, but they knew that he would have to make his own living. When he was fully recovered, they sent him on his way, and Draco made his journey to the land of Athera, and, more specifically, the Cloud Temple. The journey took him two years, but only because Draco stayed for months at a time in different towns, picking up odd jobs to make money and such. When he arrived at the Cloud Temple, the monks took care of him, and gave him food. In return, he helped them work their small farms and prepared food. He lived with them for six years. Then, he went on his way. And that, my friends, is where our story begins. Personality Traits: A kind soul, but Draco cannot resist a good challenge to his parkour skills. He tends to keep to himself, and isn't easily trusted because of his history with the law. He has a long memory and doesn't forget a debt that he owes or that is owed to him. He also tends not to trust other races. Ambitions: Draco hopes to make an honest living as a blacksmith for an elven lord. He also hopes to be an assassin for hire because of his skill set. Strengths/Talents: Draco is a dead shot with a bow and is an agile melee fighter. He tends to go into battle alone, and is a prime assassin. He is a skilled pickpocket from his time on the streets. He is able to survive harsh environments and does not break under pressure. Besides his shady past, Draco does not betray friends to enemies. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Draco does not handle using heavy weapons and armor well. Because of his preference to light armor, light weapons, and longbows, Druindar cannot take heavy hits. He also has a weakness for drinking in his spare time. Appearance: 6' 9” Tall. 200 lb Weight. http://imgur.com/gallery/DeMY70Q/new

In-Character Information: Character’s name: Druindar Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Elf Character’s age: 57 Biography: Druindar, a Dark Elf, lived a good life. His mother died in childbirth. His father, a minor lord, raised him as best he could, but that did not stop Druindar from constantly getting in trouble. He could never stay away from a hunting trip, and his adventurous spirit cost him. He was given a gash in his left thigh, giving him a limp for the rest of his life. Other that this unfortunate incident, he lived a normal life. When Druindar was 46, his town was attacked by raiders from the northern plains. His village had no defense. His father was slaughtered where he stood. His friends were murdered. He alone survived. Shortly after escaping from the raiders' attack, Druindar was captured by a slave hunter. He was sold and was in slavery for 9 years. His master finally took pity on him and released him. For another year, Druindar was a traveling workman, or journeyman. Eventually, He settled down and lived in the town of Adethariel. He met a wood elf, who had also settled in the town, and they were married just months later. About a moth later, unfortunately, his wife went on a hunting trip and never returned. Overcome with grief, Druindar travelled to the Cloud temple in Athera, where he hoped to find peace, and perhaps even find a profession as a blacksmith in the town or in an Elven city. Personality Traits: Although Druindar is kind, he is suspicious of many people. He is attached to dogs, specifically wolves, and will train them for his own use. He is a loyal elf and will not betray anyone, no matter what pain is inflicted upon him. Ambitions: Druindar hopes to, one day, be a scout or assassin for a royal army. He seeks to serve a noble elven lord. Strengths/Talents: A quick, agile fighter. Druindar is good with a bow, as well as light weaponry. He prefers to wear light armor for easier movement. He is a good climber and has amazing stamina, allowing for him to run for a long time. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Druindar has a hunting injury on his left leg, giving him a slight limp. He does not fare well after a long horse ride. Also, because he wears light armor, he isn't strongly protected from melee attacks. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Druindar is 6' 2", 213 lbs, has long brown hair, and is strong. He is also agile and thus has long legs.
