How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? I was searching for roleplaying servers and found "Lord of the Craft". Definitions What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is a form of gaming, either digitally or, more classically, on pen and paper. There are many specific roleplaying games, the most famous of which is arguably Dungeons&Dragons. When roleplaying, the gamer takes on the identity of a designed character with specific attributes in a fictional world of some kind. What is metagaming?: Metagaming is when a player acts using their own knowledge, despite the fact that their character has no knowledge of the act. For example, if a player knows that there is a pool of gold in the cave, but their character never knew this, going to the pool of gold is considered metagaming. What is power gaming?: Powergaming is the act of trying to advance quickly and unfairly in an RPG using unrealistic gameplay. For example, killing mass amounts of enemies and dodging every opponent's attacks could be considered power gaming. In-Character Information Character's name: Cristiano Shepherd Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Human Character’s age: 30 Biography: Cristiano was born two days from Oren to a family of farmers, in their cheap sand house. As their only son, he was forced to work in the fields with his father for many years. He was very religious. When he was 14 years old, his father came down with the Plague. Cristiano's only goal from then on was to save his father. He went to the forest, where he found a cleric named Olivier Oscarson, who told him he could cure his father. However, Olivier died during the journey and Cristiano took all of his items. When he came back, he was able to use the cleric's belongings to save his father from the Plague. From then on, he believed that he could save anyone who was sick. On the cold and dark night of Cristiano's 18th birthday, a Blood Omen flew through the Shepherd family's small town. Cristiano warned the town to flee, but nobody believed him, besides a small group who decided to follow Cristiano. His family told him he was crazy for being this scared of an owl. The small group, who called themselves the "Heavenly Ones", left the town and fled to a great ship. As they sailed away, they watched as an orc tribe burned the town to ash. Ever since then, Cristiano has feared anything resembling a Blood Omen or owl. Because he had predicted the disaster with the Blood Omen sighting, the Heavenly Ones declared Cristiano as their God. Everywhere he went, they followed. When Shepherd predicted, incorrectly, that a flood was coming, the group went into hiding behind the Ruins of Renatus. After forty moons there, they decided it was safe. When they realized Shepherd was wrong, they denounced him as a liar. His body was thrown, bound at the hands and knees, into the ocean and abandoned. However, he was able to make it to shore and was freed by a wood elf group. As the elf group did not like humans, he was then forced into a cell made of wood. Finally, a Heavenly One found him and freed him, saying we all deserve second changes. Ever since, he has been trying to redeem himself.
