The Brathmordikan Temple of Almaris was overrun by the Mori and Duren held onto the body of a fatally wounded Ireheart dragging him closer to the city square. Before making an escape the elder Ireheart observed as the Dwed of the underground gallantly fought and with great valor able to defeat many Mori though were still being pushed back. Upon a retreat, Duren takes one look back at the Temple and witnesses a grand miracle conjured by another’s magic. A manifestation of Lord Dungrimm spilled out into the Temple slamming a large hammer upon many of the Mori causing the walls to collapse and providing time for escape.

Duren glances back as he evacuates into the valley from the city and a bright light shines upon the mountain where his grand-son Balor rests. He squeezes his eyes closed from shedding a tear as he whispers a prayer for his fallen kin “ᚱᛖᛊᛏ ᛁᚾ ᛈᛖᚲᛖ ᛒᚨᛚᛟᚱ”. He hesitantly turns his body to continue the evacuation leaving his late grand-son in the care of Dungrimm. Duren and his great-grandson Balor II carrying the injured body of their Ireheart kin out of the mountains to safety. Once they reached the harbor the exhaustion from being the vanguard at the Temple finally overcame them.

Some stone years later, Duren & many other of the Dwarves have reached the survival lands of Failor and established Camp Dwed to subsist despite the odds. Though many of them had not rallied for so long since the exodus. They have managed to continue their councils without even proper courts or temples. Celebrations and ale-pouring commonly occur as the camp cherishes the life spared to them by the Gods and also mourning for those who were lost. Even in the face of insecurity the Dwarves of Urguan keep to the pursuit of Yemekar, striking the earth!

The fact that a majority of RP voters put down they hate role-playing by the design of the game's curses is very telling I think.

Seems extremely unfair that staff had forced a Creature application for a main race of Orc with the justification that they have 'too much role-play strength'. Even while lacking an actual orc damage buff which never required a Creature application during the racial buff days.

Meanwhile, Elves can be the most populous community on the server even more than Humans and obtaining all the community magics, despite supposedly having an infertility curse.

Staff neglects a major issue of the games design and this doesn't apply solely to Elves. Along with others races i'm not touching on, but Orcs as well largely lack the bloodlust they used to have because over time Staff disincentivized the pvp strucuture that was once the most compelling culture of the Orcs.

Duren finds the note placed on top of the meeting table in the underground bunker of Savoy as he glares at the page squinting his stoned eyes as he immediately reads the insults

You're more schizo RP experience was when Eath'Lur defeat Hu-din and the Dark Shaman Kulgarok for the Rexdom. That was a banger moment in your character's life lmao

In Axios, I once played my Shaman Orc who called upon the magical strength of his ancestors as he engaged in mortal combat against DPMagician's Undead Gorkil Orc. A glorious battle of faith between Krug & Iblees fought between 2 old friends that chose separate paths.

My character Falum'Lur was also smitten by lightning and died but was resuscitated by another bolt of lightning. My orc's shaman mentor was able to attune him afterward with the Storm Elemental Spirits.

Athera-Vailor and mid-Axios was probably the last time Orcs had a secured culture, but it's just been a rollercoaster of defeats each map since. There have been some achievements over the maps after that, but never amounted to anything beyond skirmishes aside from the Elysium Siege. 

LoTC Orcs have such a unique culture aside from any of the other Orc conceptual cultures (LoTR, Warhammer) that people play by. It is just very sad to see such a great main race withering away.

Duren 'the Deathless' Ireheart spectated in horror as the dwarf who murdered his father, Dreek II, began stabbing himself in the neck in a suicide attempt among the senate court room.

"Da age has made da lad fall ta madness. Aye a manifestation o' dark times indeed."

Upon returning from a long journey Duren Ireheart embraces the many clan kinsmen in the halls but there was one he looked forward to seeing the most. Yet the beardling grandchild he raised would never appear. The Clan brought upon the hard truth of Balor’s demise by those of San’Velkuz bringing a fury of Duren’s beard.  Amidst the counsel of his kin, memories of Balor’s trials return, creating a strong conviction within the Clan.

A personal grudge shall be placed upon those of Krug until the individuals of the crime have been brought to justice. An investigation will take place and should any resistance be met will result in displays of Dungrimms arts. 

Retribution shall be manifested as the natural and just refund for harm.

 applauds the signing and prepares arms with a great conviction towards the draconic menace and many obstructions of Yemekar's Peace.

He then takes respite in the Hall o' Heroes of the Clan Hall passing by the Dragon-Slayer Emperor and the many great Kings of the past until a response is heard.

Duren Ireheart takes off his cap and places it upon his chest as his grand-son Balor returned with the loss of a limb and the news of the dwarven party's fate. Duren grabs a bottle from the Ireheart brewery and reminisces back on the last time they shared whiskey around the grave of Kronk's fallen friend.

Subpar & Depressing. There are so many factors from the start of that map that could be tallied but i'm gonna be simple. Every city I visit usually seems like a ghost town (likely due to the size of the map) and there doesn't seem to be any big story being made that's worth rallying to.

This map seems like overexaggerated role-play that has no specific direction to an action & yet conflicts that make up the history of each map has deliberately been ceased by staff making assumptions that because 'communities don't honor each other in war' and 'current players don't like conflict' should be a means of focusing more heavily on community role-play. The low bar LoTC sets on activity by simply being online in a city is poor and lacks any higher tier of activity such as movements, campaigns, raids, PvE or PvP events, conflicts, competitions, or any other activity that could be performed preventing any higher player retention.

This is probably the most genuine and transparent compliment any Staff or Admin has ever produced towards the players.
