I’ve been out of practice for several months now, and something about my current characters just aren’t cutting it. So, I’ve decided to discount my normal headshot prices and do a quick sale for about a week. Got five slots open, but I don’t know how long it’ll take to get them finished.

The Smoeni
“Hae’mel. Hae’mel. Evharn ito aven na reti fesh loev ma’saerrana.”
-Prayer to The Mother
In the beginning, there were four. Broken and bruised; cast out from their homes and families for crimes not committed. Wounded, alone, and scared, they bound themselves together in a pact of blood and founded a story that would transcend lifetimes.
What are They?
The Samoniian, shortened to Smoeni, are a wandering tribe that has lived in the deepest forests since the foundation of Axios. As time has passed, and numbers have dwindled, the clan separated upon their arrival on Atlas and have only once again reformed into one.
Smoeni are a mostly elven people with orcish blood, leading them to have an almost hideous appearance compared to their elven cousins. Though the original Tribe Sisters were all Mali’ker, outsider blood has influenced their heritage into a melting pot of just about anything. Though they are few in numbers due to the Elven curse, it is lucky that these gentle giants have no desire to bring war to the others on the continent.
Traditionally they are a tribe of merchants and craftsmen.
History
The history of the Smoeni is a difficult thing to pin down due to the lack of records the tribe would have. Little is known on the exact date or time that they were founded, some believing they predated several organizations while others believed they formed at some point in Axios. Despite what persona beliefs may be held, it is a well known fact that there were four founders.
Brutalized for their heritage, four elven women left their homes and family behind in order to escape the never-ending abuse heaped onto them. They found each other in the forests, and slept beneath the stars; when they dreamt.
Two Spirits are said to have appeared to them in their dreams, a pair beings called the Watcher and Kesag. Lost in an endless void, the two offered the four a deal; they would watch over and guide them if they sacrificed a creature to them every full moon.
Accepting this deal, the Smoeni were born.
The Four Sisters
In the beginning, there were four sisters. Though they may have not been related by blood it would be their bond that would found a story that would be passed down for generations. Many of the modern-day tribe are descendants of one of these four, and as such tend to take on the characteristics of their founding mother.
Atizar
The family of Priests
አዳኝ
Those that descend from Atizar tend to be smaller Smoeni, not standing anywhere near the height of one of Tumash’s offspring. They tend to have lighter skin tones, with a soft bronze hue. Generally, Atizar’s tend to have brighter eye colors. normally green or blue, yet this still varies. They tend to be fairly muscular, but only range in heights 5’5 to 6’.
Current Family Members
Tumash
The Family of Warriors
ድል አድራጊው
Tumash had an early demise, only bearing one daughter. This began the limit of Tumash’s successors. They are by far the largest of the tribe, exceeding up to seven feet in height. Though this also brings in great illness and a potential for heart failure. Tumash’s are generally mali’ker in skin tone, but with many features of their orcish forefathers.
Current Living Members
Olirel
The Family of Tomes
ጥበበኛ
Olirel’s children are a darker skinned group, with smaller frames than Tumash and Minilmia, but larger than Atizar. They tend to have darker colored eyes, coming in shades of browns and greens. The Olirel have a longer life expectancy, and have a slightly better immunity to disease. On average, they range from 5’7-6’7..
Current Family members
Minilmia
ብልጣ
The final birth family of the Smoeni is the Minilmia, the lighter ashen skinned women. They tend to be fairer than the other Smoeni, having their fair use of makeup and other cosmetics. They tend to have a decent muscle mass, but are more fair and ‘lithe’ than some of the other Smoeni. Minilmia range from 5’9-6’2, the middle area around 5’6 for most.
Current Family Members
Arezara
Religion
By nature, Smoeni worship the spirits. Typically a mix between both Orcish and Dark Elven considering their Ancestry. Though what spirits worshiped by any given Smoeni is subject to change from one to another, there are two that remain the most important in the eyes of the people.
Kesag
Nicknamed the ‘Mother of Smoeni’ by those that worship her, Kesag is the Spirit of Life, Death, and Nature. Though not a major Spirit compared to the others, she remains one of the most important in the eyes of the Smoeni. Her true domain remains mostly unknown, though her children believe her to be a giver of life.
Kesag is a silent Spirit, rarely speaking to one of her chosen Shamans unless deemed important enough. She is regarded as a silent protector.
In text and art, Kesag is depicted as either a woman with the head of a black cat or a woman with seven cat-like heads. Because of this, cats have become especially important to the Smoeni and have religious indications. They look upon the Kharajir with awe, and treat them as if they were demi-gods.
Tenets of Faith
-
Harm not your sister or brother, for even if they are not of the same flesh and blood they breathe the same.
-
Spread not seeds of discord into the outside world, as they have a right to live as does the people of the tribe.
-
Thieve not from your brethren, as a hart stolen will not be returned.
-
-
The Watcher
-
Out of everything the Smoeni do, it is the Watcher who is the most mysterious. Little is known about this being, whether they’re a Spirit or a god, all that is known is that their all-seeing eye guides the fates of the children of Smoeni.
Depicted as a single eye in every writing about them, they grasp not the concept of gender and remain as an incorporeal being that truly has no physical form or appearance.
The Watcher’s name has been long forgotten in the abyss that they reside in. The Smoeni worship them as if they were a deity of Fate and Time, praying to the Watcher for a variety of mundane reasons.
Tenets of Faith
-
Fate is inevitable, do not run from it.
-
The all-seeing eye watches all, from birth till death, do not scorn it as it does not seek harm.
Culture
Smoeni have a wide culture, varying across from cuisine, to the usage of slaves and servants. Despite this, they still keep most of the culture from outsiders, and have a very different outlook on the few who enter their camp.
Clothing
Throughout time, Smoeni garbs have changed of course. As they live in warmer climates, they tend to relatively dress down and have a harder time in cold areas, such as Karlsburg or Norland. Although, dress is purely based on the woman's preference, most being under dressed, and some being dressed in layers. Colors also hold a great part in dress, as it is also a key to slaves.
Red: Battle/Conflict
White: The Spirits
Green: Nature
Brown: Health/Medicine
Purple: Wealth
Black: Happiness
Language
Most of the tribe do not know how to read in common, and instead use the Smoen alphabet to write letters, or literature. The letters make a very firm resemblance to pictures, each symbol having a separate meaning if alone.
Soemeni have a stranger accent, speaking mostly in common- despite having a different written language. Their accent varies, some thicker than others. They also have several words and phrases in their own ‘language’, even though most of it is borrowed from Blah and Ancient Elven. Their tongue is twisted and hard to speak, only to be broken and not a whole complete language.
((In real life, the accent would be equivalent to a thick Navajo accent))
Karug- Greetings
Van’ye- Farewell
Ahernug- Thanks, Thank you
Smoenii- Sister, Tribe Mate
Eloz- Kha, is used as an insult
Ologri- Friend, companion
Cuisine
The Smoeni have a vast array of dishes, their diet usually healthy with lots of greens and meats. The Smoeni are a hunter tribe, and have many meats due to their hunting. Normally their dishes are spicy, with sour twists and tinges- certain dishes being extremely hot for one who has not tasted some of their delicacies.
The Aggid
Smoeni have many festivals, although the Aggid is by far one of the most important. Aggid’s are held at no specific date, but are normally used for introducing newborns and new Smoeni into the tribe. The event is also used to give trials to the born Smoeni of the tribe, and formally inducting them into the clan.
SpoilerDISCLAIMER
This is a reworked version of a culture I had made back when I was like, 12. Lot’s of changes, lot’s of new stuff! The ‘Spirit’s mentioned are not official lore, and are not actual spirits as of the posting of this post. I’m currently trying to work with a couple of people to make them at least into something. I’m posting this to gauge interest, if you want to join this culture shoot me a PM at Kry#8104 and I'll try to get back to you ASAP! This is still a major wip, so more info is on the way.

A Letter of Sanctuary
Sent of the back of a Crow, Dak’ir would be the recipient of a letter bearing the Delevoye Clan Crest.
Dak’ir Des’nox,
It is with great sorrow that I greet you under these circumstances. The last I visited your vast caverns I sought a place to rebuild my clan, my family, after the loss of my haelun. I swore to you that the Delevoye Clan would offer it’s services to the Onyx Sanctum, and I am not a woman who takes back her words. Despite our disagreements, my clan’s hall is open to both you and our people in Asimu’lei. Should you seeks refuge, the Lunar Domain’s doors are open to both your clans and your citizens.
While the Lunar Domain is not exactly what you wanted whilst forming the Onyx Sanctum, you will forever be welcome. Whether temporarily as you rebuild, or permanently. You and your faction have options; and I will not allow our kin to remain without a home.May the Ancestors guide you,
Luna Delevoye.Spoiler

TLDR
The Delevoye family History is long and devastating. Traditionally a matriarchy, the Delevoyes have a history of fun-loving carefree mali’ker with a big focus on family. In appearance, most of the Delevoyes have dark ashy skin with either black or white hair with dominant purple eyes, most of the clan have small forms with the women usually being under 5’7. While they are not the most well-known clan, the Delevoyes have persevered and thrived for centuries.
OOC: Currently looking for people to join the clan, we’ve been around since vailor and are currently based out of the onyx sanctum.
HISTORY
KALVO DELEVOYE
SpoilerKalvo Delevoye grew up in a family who did not have any struggles, money, jobs, none. This did not mean they were rich, they lived in a small home together while Kalvo’s father and his brothers worked, day in and day out. Kalvo had two older brothers who later on in life married and had children of their own. They prided themselves in their struggless life and told Kalvo he should dream big for times were changing, and if they wished to keep such a life they would have to think bigger then being simple smiths. Kalvo thought of such advice and remembered how he could easily come across something useless to most people and turn it into something grand. He became a tinkerer and at first his family laughed at his idiocy, saying that his trinkets would get him nothing and he’d live a poor life, one no woman would want to be a part of. But Kalvo worked hard and sold them at a booth one day. He earned a large amount of money for it and soon was able to make his own market booth for his trinkets. People from all over came to his booth to buy what he created and soon he earned more than his whole family ever did. He showed them his earnings and basked in the glory of proving them wrong. One day while he was manning his booth a beautiful dark elven woman came and spoke to him in a gentle, kind voice.
She laughed at his terrible jokes about the trinkets and listened to how each were made. He became enamored with her quickly and tried to find her each day, giving her a rose each time he did. Soon they began to court and four months later they happily married. Kalvo’s new wife was named Freya and she had pale blue hair with dark purple eyes and pitch black skin. Two years of trying for a child finally paid off once Freya gave birth to their first son Archontas. He had his mother's dark black skin and purple eyes while he was given his father’s almost white hair. He grew up with a playful, carefree attitude and loved helping his father with his merchant booth. But not only did he love making trinkets but watching his mother sew clothing. Yes Freya was a tailor and helped add to the market booth, bringing in even more customers with her lavish dresses. Soon when Archontas was eighteen years old Freya gave birth to Ethir, Archontas’ brother. Ethir looked exactly like his father.
With purple eyes, white hair and dark skin. Ethir grew up differently then Archontas, he always lived in Archontas’ shadow and grew envious of him. Ethir did not like the merchant business nor did he like tailoring or tinkering. He was the odd duck who took to smithing like Kalvo’s two brothers did. But instead of making axes and pickaxes he made swords and battle axes, imagining using them himself.
ARCHONTAS DELEVOYE
SpoilerOnce Archontas reached the age of fifty he bought a merchant booth of his own and created painting and trinkets instead. He loved art and would often spend his days in front of a canvas. Just two years later he met Lily, an aristocratic woman who was two years older than him and loved the arts, music and painting. She grew up in a family of high status and loved buying Archontas’ paintings. She’d go to his booth and buy one just about every week, commenting on something she liked about it. Archontas felt a pull towards her quickly. She was a beautiful woman with black hair and light purple eyes with obsidian colored skin. Her high cheekbones could cut and her wide eyes somehow made her look innocent. They fell in love with one another in a fast manner, going from talking of art one day to talking of the future they could have. Just after a week of knowing one another they courted and married two months later. It was a lavish wedding with hundreds of guests. After four years of being together they still had not bore a child which caused for a strain between the two. Lily wanted a son more than anything while Archontas wanted a daughter. They tried everything they could, from remedies to rituals, nothing happened. Archontas grew angry of such and spent most his days in the local city with his merchant booth. One day he decided to get his wife a new dress and went to the local tailor. Instead of finding the old lady who usually made Lily’s dresses he found a much younger woman with piercing, pale purple eyes and black skin to make them pop. She had chubby cheeks and pale blue hair, a smile was etched on her face as she listened to Archontas list off the things his wife would want the dress to have.
Soon he came by three times a week, always saying he needed a new dress when really he just wanted to see her. The tailor’s name was Iangneth and she soon held Archontas’ heart. One day he stopped by the place just before it closed and they ended up spending their time in a tavern. Things took a turn and they ended up renting a room, spending that night doing unfaithful things. Soon it became a thing they did once a week, meeting up in the same tavern to speak amongst one another, then rent the same room to do the same private things. But a year into doing such Kalvo made a surprise visit to Archontas and found out about his activities. He was enraged with Archontas’ foolish ways and made him end it at once. He told Archontas that he was to end it or he’d tell Lily himself. Archontas ended it quickly, telling Iangneth that he can never see her again and that they may never talk again. Heart broken Iangneth moved away to live somewhere that did not hold the memories of her past love and soon found out she was pregnant. She gave birth to a boy nine months later and raised him with the utmost honesty, always telling him the truth when he asked about his father. Back where Archontas was he lived miserably for six years before he found out Lily was pregnant. Overjoyed he fell back in love with Lily and treated her right, never once letting him think of Iangneth and their time spent together. Soon Lily gave birth to a girl named Arabella and they raised her with love and care. Lily loved her daughter but was never a very maternal type which led to a strain in their relationship.

ETHIR DELEVOYE
SpoilerEthir grew up distant from his family, he was not interested in their silly crafts and decided to follow the original family business. He would go to a blacksmith and ask him how to make swords. Soon enough Ethir was one of the best blacksmiths in town, but he did not care, for he wanted to see his works of art on the battlefield. Ethir seeked a trainer so he may join the army, after many weeks of searching he found a man named Allard who taught him how to fight using a sword, Ethir trained and trained until one day Allard noticed his apprentices destructive behavior and decided to cut lessons short, making excuses on why they cannot train. Ethir practiced his sword fighting alone whenever Allard was not there, one day Ethir could not hold it in, he had to get his blade into real action. Ethir went into a town to apply for the army when orcs showed up and raided the town. Ethir thought this would be the perfect time to test his skills out. He was ruthless and showed no mercy, Allard was one of the few men who came to help the town but only to find it covered in dead Orcs. Allard looked at Ethir to see him stabbing an already dead Orc in the head. Allard knew he created a monster and he had to put it down. So one night he invited Ethir to have have dinner with him where he poisoned Ethir’s food. Ethir noticed something strange about his food and asked Allard if he could taste it first, Allard refused and Ethir knew he had been betrayed. He stood up and ran his sword right through his mentors chest. Ethir showed no sorrow about what he had just done, he left his mentor to bleed on the ground. A week later word of Allard’s death had spread around town and Ethir knew he had to leave. He quickly signed up to become part of the Army, far away from his town so he will not be punished for his crimes. He fought many battles and was admired by many, but it was not enough he wanted more of a challenge. He persuaded his general to sent him on a task in Athera, then general agreed that he can go, but only to save the villagers. Once there the fight was more than Ethir expected. He was beaten badly and was losing blood, he decided to quickly shelter himself in a home a bit far away for the fight. One he got there he encountered a beautiful woman, her name was Cora. Cora healed him and fed him a good meal, she begged him not to go out again for is he did he would die. Ethir listened to the woman for he thought she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Once the fighting was over he went back to his general who shamed him for leaving the battle like a coward and not dying a hero, the general banished him from the army for he did not want any cowards in his troops. Furious, Ethir would return back to the village, when Cora saw him she hugged him and said she was thankful he was safe. He told her what happened and out of pity she was able for him to get his own house in the village near hers. They spent many months together and Ethir grew fond of Cora, and Cora felt the same way. They were in court together for 4 years until finally one day he asked her to marry him, she gladly accepted. All was good until one day Ethir found out his ex General and his men had killed one of his good friends. Ethir swelled with rage and would take it out on Cora. Cora thought if maybe they have a child her husband would be kind again. So after a few months Cora gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Elora, but it did not work, Ethir had gathered a guild and he became more abusive than ever. One day he forced Cora to leave or she would be punished to death. She tried to take Elora with her but he did not let her. She had no other choice but to flee leaving her daughter with that horrible man. Ethir was cruel to Elora when she grew older, he made her his servant and she endured countless beatings and labor. Once she reached the right age Elora would pass on his legacy as leader of the guild. He forced her to marry a terrible man named Raylion. Elora could not lead the guild alone, so she had no choice but to follow his wishes. On the day of the wedding he was stabbed by Elora in her desperate ways to be free from him. Elora ran away to Valior never to be seen by the guild again.

Clan Kyu’vera
Grand Feasts, family of choice, expression and freedom. Those were the ideals that the Kyu’vera Clan was established on. While they would never be the oldest, powerful, or renown clan amongst their kinsman, the Kyu’vera would always be free. Unbound to show their true colors and express themselves however and whenever they wished.
Because of this the Kyu’varia tended to be nomadic in nature, moving at the want and whims of the Clan’s family members. With no place to truly call home much of the lore was lost from both memory and record leaving behind a forgotten history.
Clan Characteristics
The Kyu’vera has been well known for adopting ‘strays’ both officially and unofficially, leaving the main bloodline with very undefined characteristics. Dark Elven, they tend to have darker than average skin with large purple eyes that varies in shade from member to member. Typically they are of average height, again, with variations dependant on the other parent, with more heavy-set physiques.
In personality it is very rare that the Kyu’vera share anything in common, each being almost eerily unique in personality and preferences. Passion for their craft, a love of food (usually a specific item), and a large set of lungs, are the few things most if not all that clan members share. They are usually seen as odd from the perspective of outsiders with loud mouths with very different, if not clashing personalities.
Traditions and Stories
Because of the loss of the many older traditions and practices, those that remain and held in very high regard by living members.
Birthdays
As for any Elf, most birthdays are something to be brushed off with the knowledge that it hardly affects their daily life. Though the Kyu’vera actively celebrate several of the ‘big numbers’, usually accompanied by a blowout party for the public and then a smaller, but no less unenthusiastic with their family. Ages five, fifty, and one-hundred are very important to the Clan; the first is usually accompanied by a nickname that the child is given to be used by Clan-Only. The second is a coming of age, while not completely uncommon that a clan member already married and had children before, turning fifty is when they are actually recognized as a fully fledged adult. One-Hundred is a sign of survival, with a surprisingly bloody past it was once rare that they reach the (still young) age of one hundred. Modernly, this is treated as more of an excuse to throw a party.
Naming
While other clans may have their own specific ways of naming their young, the exact methods and reason is left up to the parents to decide. This name is given and used by both family and outsiders for use, it serves as a placeholder for the child to grow into before they can choose their own name. At five, the head(s) of the clan give the child a nickname, to be used by the clan and only clan. Usually it is a defining feature of the child in question (a favorite food, pet, etc) and is the only name that will be permanently stuck to the child. At twenty, they are given the opportunity to change their given name - though most choose to keep the one given to them by their parents.
Religion & Funerals
The majority of the Kyu’vera follow traditional Dark Elven religion through the practice of ancestral worship. Like most other things, this is not very enforced and as long as the member in question isn’t doing any harm to themselves or others they are free to follow whatever religion they want. Funerals vary from member to member, with members encouraged to write a will to be left behind in the case of their death with instructions on how to plan the funeral. Most choose a simple cremation and service, however there was an older Kyu’vera who wanted to thrown into the sea with a service that demanded alcohol and a celebration that lasted into the early hours of the next day,
Courting & Marriage
Similarly to many of their other traditions, the Kyu’vera have very odd but straightforward courting methods. Typically the member would try to woo their potential partner with their select set of skills (a chef would leave them baked goods, a florist would give them flowers, a bard would serenade them, etc.) If these methods do not work, they oddly refer to a typical high elven method of courting and write poems and sonnets to their potential partner.
Marriage however, is an excuse to party. Therefore the Kyu’vera always have loud and extravagant weddings with lots of alcohol and food. Typically the wedding is officiated by either the matriarch/patriarch of the family or an elder priest of Ancestralism. Though depending on the two that are to wed, the ceremonies can be drastically different.
Family Tree
The Kyu’vera were originally a very bloody clan with fights both internal and external. It was rare that a member of the clan made it to fifty, and the arts of fighting were pushed on the young of the clan as soon as they could toddle. After losing his brother, the oldest known Kyu’vera split from the family and ran away with his bride. They rejected the core principles of their clan and instead chose to found a new one, a new start for their future children.
Founded on the love of family and freedom, the Kyu’vera were odd even among each other. Many were adopted into the clan so a solid line of blood relations is difficult to manage, though there is a small list of known Kyu’vera.
SpoilerHey so, I used to play with a clan back in the day and I’ve been wanting to get that good rp in again. So if anyone is looking to join a clan hmu! your character can be blood related or adopted in.

Luna hobbled drunkenly into their shared home, stumbling through the doorway she gazed around the open area.
“Haelun?” The elf hollered, a light frown forming on her face. With no answer she moved sluggishly towards the stairs and stumbled down them. Something familiar twisted in her gut, and despite the alcohol she felt her head clear somewhat as she stopped before Arabella’s door.
“Haelun?” She tried again, trying to open the locked door and failing. With a resolve she forced the door open, and froze in her tracks.
All of a sudden she felt alone. Lost in a way she hadn’t been since that monster broke into the windmill. Lost as the time she had been when she had lost both her ear and the innocence only a child could have. Lost in a way she hadn’t felt in over a hundred years. Her stomach twisted and lurched violently, and suddenly her legs were moving without her consent. Terror and bile crawled up her throat yet she somehow managed to make it to the bed without throwing up.
Luna moved her hand towards her mother’s face, then down to her neck to check for a pulse. Not finding any, the elf collapsed to her knees. She stared at the still warm corpse of the only constant in her life, and for the first time in a long time, she wept.
Later, when the other members of the family would return home- they would find the oldest daughter of Arabella staring numbly at the matriarch’s body.

Hey hey
I just downloaded a new art software, with a new-ish stylus, and I’m broke. So why not try to make a mina or two off of practice!
I’ll do busts of your characters for 300 mina a pop, feel free to PM me any requests or just put it bellow. The bust has a flat coloring, if you want shading that’d be an extra 100. Thanks!
Request Format
Character Description (be as descriptive as possible!):
Character Sheet:
Skin Screenshot:
Extra Shading:
Reference(s):
One of my examples is bellow, and will be added to as requests are finished.
SpoilerNote: I've found my pen!! so the style has improved and the lines are cleaner.
^ Not shaded
^ Shaded, Tarot Card

Haven't talked to the guy in ages, hopefully he has become more mature since the last times we have spoken. Honestly I don't know. He tends to act childish in some regards and absolutely refuses to look at things from another angle. Very stubborn, and lacks the will to listen to evidence if it collides with his personal views on a subject. Toxic in some ways, especially when he doesn't get his way. I hope that you've at least grown up in some ways and become more open minded, but at the moment since I have only the past to go by I have to give you a -1
