  1. Would stumble across the bark, reading it inquisitively. He then moves to find the note, and a smile comes across his face "To assume a being that knows all but would choose not to is a strange concept. To assume that a being that know all would ever feel boredom is an odd thought, but can be expanded upon. It is the central idea of a more.. Mortal... GOD." He continues to wander the ruins, when he would spot a fly caught in a spiders web. "Suppose GOD sees all time, all outcomes, all things. Then GOD would shape us, shape our universe, so we ultimately become something greater. Something we may not understand." Staring up at the setting sun, Thomas sighs a great sigh of one who has lived more than one lifetime. "GOD has known all along what the eventual outcome of his universe would be. And thus he shapes it as he needs. For every little change, good or bad, something new arises." Thomas would exit ruins as night falls, giving a short prayer to the singular, omnipotent, and all knowing Lord. That night, he would compile his thoughts and actions, conceal them in a scroll, and place it next to the note .
  2. When Man takes upon the sin of Iblees From the seven skies I have been sent once more by GOD to proclaim and affirm my truths. GOD has observed a great sin in this world, one which he himself witnessed in the time before the World. This was the greatest sin of Iblees. The sin that turned an immortal against GOD. A sin which turned Man upon Emperor. A sin which has a simple name, and at first glance may not seem half as dangerous as Gluttony, Wrath, Lust, and Greed. Yet, the exact nature of this sin is what drives men to war. Drives men to Lust, Greed, Wrath, and Gluttony. It is the sin of ENVY “For when GOD bore witness to the bounty of His Immortals, He was pleased. But when He saw the bounty of Iblees, which was sin, He was very wroth with the Daemon. And He spoke to Iblees. “Why hast thou done that which I have forbidden?” And Iblees replied “For you name us as servants, and I shall devise of no virtue until I am your equal. And now my touch is the touch of the Void, and it is with all things in your creation.” And GOD was furious, and Iblees would not repent. And he fled into the Void, for he hated the glory of GOD, and by his own will was shackled from the Lord.” Godfrey 1;7 Iblees did not sin because it was his nature. Iblees sinned because he was ENVIOUS of the Lord. Iblees sinned because he felt oppressed. And because he sinned, he moved farther from GOD, and took with and brought forth evil. And because he sinned, instead of spoke, he brought only death and destruction and his labour bore no other fruits than the darkness of the void. And because of his envy, he hoped to drive others to sin with him, in hopes they may destroy the fruits of GOD’s labours, for as we know, GOD is eternal and CANNOT be overthrown. So this very story from creation transcends the ages and the veil or immortality into the mortal realms. The man by the name of Thomas Ruric follows this very path. His envy of the power the Emperor held over him caused him to sin, and THEN demand the Emperor recognize him as an equal. And in his envy he wrought death and destruction. And in his envy he withdraws from the kingdom of Oren, taking shelter in his own void. And in his envy he forced his family to sin, taking shelter within their obedience. And in his envy, he turned the children of Krug and the impure of Oren, and helped them sin. And in his envy, he walked as Saul did and tempted and pretended to be a king. And in his envy he continues to walk farther from GOD, and now, due to his sin, I, a dead man, have risen once more. And as we know the emperor CANNOT be overthrown, for it has never happened before, for it has never been GOD’s will. But unlike Iblees, Thomas Ruric is human, and does not have an eternity to wait. Unlike Iblees, Thomas Ruric can DIE. And unlike GOD, the emperor is imperfect and will not forgive. And so I demand that Thomas Ruric surrender to the church, and plea for forgiveness, and acknowledge his sin of envy, and should he do all this, I will forgive him. GOD will forgive him. The people will forgive him. And I will protect him, for he has taken shelter with GOD. SHOULD HE REFUSE, HE WILL BE SMITTEN BY THE HOLY ORENIAN EMPIRE
  3. By the Grace of GOD, The Falsehood of Idealism. Once more I am writing to inform the readers that I was wrong. In the light of His holiness, I once again admit what I have previously written, is incorrect. I mistook my stances and ideas as something that are able to be destroyed along with the body of a man. A man that took the entire blame upon the mere accusation of a parasite within the intestines of the Holy Empire of Oren. With this I also would like to send my sincere apology and grievances to those that had suffered at the death of Father Augustus of Alsace. He took it upon himself to prove the point of idealism within the realm of GOD and man. The point that you may kill a man but you can never kill our ideas and will to put forth these ideas into action. I was never sentenced to trial, nor killed. Thus it is time to return. Thomas Aquinas
  4. Of His Majesty and GOD, The Death of Me I was wrong. It takes quite a bit of myself to muster up the courage to admit it.. But in light of the recent findings in Court.. I was wrong. I mistook the Emperor as a man who would so easily be blinded by the lies of a certain Arthur Roswell, and Jan Kovac. And I, in that moment, lost faith in him. The loss of faith has profound effect upon the world of men, which manifest in a variety of forms, and can stem from a variety of sources. My source was fear. For many saint's weeks now, I have received letters from Arthur Roswell, detailing the demise of my family, and my brother's family. These letters perturbed not my mind, but my soul, and with every one, a little more of my faith was etched away by fear. When Arthur finally was able to begin arresting my brother's family, such fear culminated, and came to a head, causing me to lash out with words in a sword that cut those which never deserved it. The one that it cut, was the Emperor himself. The Emperor, an intelligent, and spiritual man of GOD, was cut by the thesis. And as such, it was unjust. as I witnessed personally, his aptitude for politics and justice, which allowed him to swiftly and PERMANENTLY end the Istrian Conflicts, and justly defend the rights of my brother's house and my own. This man, who I thought was swayed by the simplest lies, would allow men who blatantly lie and fabricate claims, and take his personal stances with Arthur Roswell and Jan Kovac to a political level, did not. Instead, he kept Arthur and Jan happy, ensuring that no rebellion against his authority occurs, and did such instate the true heir to the duchy, Philip de Sola, as the future duke! He also instated an equally fair Regency council, to rule until Philip is old enough to assume duties. And in doing such acts, I had the realization that he was not corrupt and unjust, but fair, and pure of heart, simply doing what he could to end the conflict, and in doing so, created peace within the realm. I do state, that our Emperor is truly a Horen and Good man of GOD I told the truth, when they spoke lies. To the best of my abilities, I spoke the truth. I was scared. I was locked in a courtroom with liars, where it was my word, against theirs. For a time, it seemed the emperor believed them. I lost faith in the Creator by the end of the trial. I truly thought the liars would win, and our Emperor no more than a puppet. But behold, his plan all along was to instate Philip. In that courtroom, I believed and still do, I was fighting to preserve justice. Until my great secret was called upon. They accused me of being Thomas Aquinas. I told a lie, when the Emperor told the truth and said I was not Thomas Aquinas In that moment, my blood ran cold, my mouth dried, and I saw my world crumble. I had those that vouched for me, who did not know my lie. Again.. there I was overtaken by fear. And I told the only lie I had spoken in that courtroom, for the fear that overtook me, was the fear that Iblees would win. The fear that the liars known as Arthur Roswell and Jan Kovac would destroy my brother's house, and the land where my flock resided (I use the term, as, after this, I doubt I shall have a Flock left). I told the one lie. It was the only one told within that courtroom. At the end of the Court session, I told the truth As I was shackled and cuffed about to be led to a prison cell, I turned and ran towards the Emperor. My words were "I have only told one lie tonight, and I apologize for it. I apologize for lying about my identity, for I AUGUSTUS FALKENRATH am Thomas Aquinas." As said in the scroll of Virtue "For I have given to thee the pains of the world, and I have given to thee their cure. And thou shalt know the trials of the theatre of virtue, and know that all creation is for thy benefit." Horen 5:3 As GOD has given me the pains of the world, such as having to stand trial and bear the fear as I am beaten down by liars and Iblees Spawn, I should have been patient, and He, along with our Emperor, would save me, for they both work for my benefit, and all pains are simply a byproduct of such. I have been sentenced to a trial under the High Pontif. Then death. Thomas Aquinas A.K.A Augustus of Alsace
  5. "Your holiness, I would agree, should it not be the express purpose for creating the following thesis that I took this pen name, and that even voicing such concerns could land my person in prison... or worse. I hereby deny speaking with Emperor in any form other than over such anonymous letters and theses. Furthermore, you have given me a few ideas on my next theses. Perhaps one on anonymity? Or whether an Emperor can truly be pure for all time, and can never become corrupt of heart or mind? In either case, by GOD's will, you will hopefully be able to expect further works." - Thomas Aquinas
  6. A Thesis on Oren What I am about to tell the world will be dangerous for me, and for any others that would wish to speak their minds. As such, I am publishing this name in secrecy, under the pen name, Thomas Aquinas. There is no real Thomas Aquinas, but from this point on, he shall represent the anonymity of those who wish to speak critical of corruption within Oren. Any who wish to truly have their works published anonymously may send them to me, and thus, if you are truly dedicated, will know where to find me..... Oren, the kingdom of GOD. Oren was founded by house Horen, the same house which received GOD's first holy revelations. The holy kingdom has gone through many eras in it's existence, through many dynasties, through many wars. It is now, that it stands, at the end of an era, a hollow shell of it's former self. It's capital city has been moved, Felsen is hardly complete, with the leader of the NOC dying as well, the North prepares for rebellion, and the crownlands, under siege by bandits. But banditry is the least of Oren's concerns, the first most, is corruption. Oren is not only corrupted politically, but spiritually as well, as filthy leaders who aim to remove power from the Church and hold it for their own come into power. One may ask how such leaders are ever given any power in the first place, the answer, is simple. The government is rotten and corrupt from the core. It no longer respects the Church, just as the lords it endorses do not. The Orenian government recently promoted Arthur Roswell to regent of Istria, even though this man is a clear liar, drew a weapon on his holiness the High Pontiff, attempted to arrest a priest without a warrant and accused him of corruption as his reason, destroyed his local church (built by Bishop Piers), slaughtered innocent citizens of the town of Alsace, worked with other liars who fabricated claims against another noble family of the same duchy, attempted to undermine the current dukes authority, and attempted to usurp the noble house De Sola. In light of all of this, the leader of Oren decided to promote him to such a position, all because of political corruption and his blatant spiritual corruption, allowing for Arthur Roswell to commit and be rewarded for such crimes. As said in in scroll of Gospel “Thou standest before Me in the waters of Gamesh, Owyn, son of Godwin, son of Horen. And thy people cry for justice and for purity. Takest hold of this blade, for it is a symbol of holiness, and by it thou shalt cleanse man of sin. Now, fleest forth from this unholy imitation of My city, and go into the village of Rafal, and fast there for three days, and I shall augment thee on the third. And thou shalt go into the court of Harren in thy fineries, and recite thy ancestry, and serve as his seneschal, and soon purity will come" Godfrey 4;7 GOD clearly states to Owyn that when the people of Horen cry for justice and purity, he must take his symbol of holiness, and cleanse man of sin. GOD also states that the city, as it not only suppresses the justice, but the purity of man, is unholy, and a mere imitation of what a city of GOD should appear as. As such it was his duty to take action, and in doing so, GOD would guide him to bring forth purity. Thus, as Owyn lived in a time when Horen's children are oppressed by an impure and unjust government, so, are we at this time, oppressed by a spiritually impure and politically unjust government, and so, I call for the Church to make a stance on our government, in hopes that it shall press it to reform it's wicked ways!
