My family and I are planning on doing the Insane Inflatable 5k in (well, near) Binghamton, NY on October 8th this year. (It's somewhat between Binghamton and Ithaca, actually, but listed as Binghamton on the site.)

How much time a week can you dedicate to Forum Moderation?: Pretty much all day from 7:30 in the morning until 10:30 at night, EST.

What experience do you have using forums, or as a staff member on this server?: No experience as a staff member on this site, but I've run/modded a few forums in the past. Mostly just some forum RP things and hangout areas.

Why should you be a Forum Moderator?: I believe I'm a fair person. I have personal experience in management positions where I've had to moderate the communication forums. For example, I was an online teen youth counselor for a prolonged period of time, and I had to fairly and quite quickly react to any drama or situations on the forums. I'd make a good forum moderator for this type of thing. I love the server, and I'm dedicated to making it a better place. I spend a lot of time on the forums as it is, so this is a perfect way for me to help out.

I love character journals!! I have a few little diaries my child character kept when she was younger. They're hilarious for me to read. I've thought about keeping a private blog to catalog her adventures.

I don't think I've read anyone else's journals. I enjoy them, though. When I was a WoW role player, my server had an IC Twitter project. It was a pretty cool way to keep up up with character memories.

I knew something like that could be done, but sadly, that's the skin I changed it to yesterday before realizing I no longer had my other skin file.

Update as I'm typing this: The person who made it still had it on their imgur! HOORAY! ;w; Tears of joy. Now to go like save in about 20 different places.

Does anyone have any ideas to help find a lost skin? My computer died completely. I lost all my character files. Skins, journals, etc.

I still have one of my skins in my PMs from when it was made, but the other one, my favorite one, is gone completely. I also changed out my account skin before I realized I didn't have her file to change back into anymore.

I have no idea if it was uploaded to a site or anything. I've sent a message to the person that made it for me, but they haven't been on in a few days.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I agree with what you're saying! 

I have nothing negative to say about Gizzy. I don't think his typical type of stuff matches the server, BUT I think he understands that now. Since they made the video, he has come to understand the depth of the server and the true nature of it. 

I think if they take some of the suggestions that the community has offered, it would work out better in the long run. However, I think they really, truly need to showcase the server and the true nature of it. Not just make it the setting of a skit comedy.

I've been staying away from this situation, but I couldn't even get through the video. I think it was nice of him to include a disclaimer at the beginning, but still...the video in no way showcased the server. The server was just the setting. Nothing about the actual server was shown. Nothing real was done. It was painful to watch.

If someone like that actually made it on to the server, I would be trying to figure out a legit RP reason to excuse myself. I understand he was putting on a show. So, I have nothing to say against HIM. It's just that we don't need those kinds of roleplayers coming around here. 

Still, though, I've seen worse on World of Warcraft...

Hello! 

I am making a Highlander child. She'll be about 7 or 8 years old.

Pretty much free reign over design for the most part! I would like for her to have brown hair and green eyes. She will be spending a lot of her time in the Caliphate, around the Druids. She is an orphan, so simple clothing would be best. 

That's really it. Everything else is up to the person making the skin. I don't have much money, but I can maybe pay 150 mina? :s

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: I most agree with the rule that states even if you don't technically break a rule, it's up to the moderators if they feel the need to warn or ban you. I have seen people abuse servers before by technically not breaking any rules, but they are still making things miserable for other people. I think it's a good thing to have that rule in place, because online (and especially in the world of RP), there will always be trolls whose mission is to exploit rule sets.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is taking information that your character doesn't know and using it to gain an unfair advantage while playing.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is pretty much...sucking the soul out of the game and just going for the kill. In roleplay, it's like when someone is godmodding. They are mighty and powerful. It's when people forcefully take control without consideration for other people's gameplay.

Character’s name: Morgan Fennic.

Biography : Morgan was born a few years before the exodus of Athera. Her earliest memories are of unrest and fear in her homeland. At the age of four, her family was uprooted by the destruction of Athera, and they were forced to settle in Vailor. After traveling from town to town for a few years looking for steady work, Morgan's father finally decided that Felsen was their best bet at having a secure, happy life. Once settled, her father did odd jobs to support his family. While he never had a stable career, they lived a comfortable enough life.

In recent years, Morgan lost her father to the plague. Now, like her father, she has taken to working odd jobs to support her widowed mother. She commonly works as a cook – selling various meals and baked goods to anyone willing to spare a few minas. At times, she also takes on the role of a housekeeper. Despite this work, she continues to save little by little in hopes that she will one day achieve her dream of opening her own bakery.

Personality Traits: Morgan has a deep sense of loyalty. She has high morals and a strong work ethic. She can be stubborn, and she doesn't back down easily when she feels she's right. 

Ambitions: She would like to someday own and operate a successful bakery. She hopes to become well known and respected for her work.

Strengths/Talents: Morgan is a naturally talented cook. 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: She has tunnel vision. It can be hard to get her to focus on anything else once she has something on her mind. It may at times appear she is ignoring someone, and this can lead to awkward situations or her being perceived as rude. Another aspect of this trait is that it can cause her to have problems letting go. She has a tendency to hold grudges as she focuses her entire being on the wrongdoings of others when these situations arise.
