Alright, I hate to say this but I don't see myself getting these done any time soon. Right after posting this life decided to become very busy for me and I also just accepted a rather big project. Fear not as I will still try to get the requests done, but it will take a MUCH longer time then expected as ill only be able to work on them when I can during the weekend.

I've never taken (real) money from someone for my art, don't really plan to.

(vote on the server and you'll have about 90ish mina a day)

So I've debated doing this for the near 2ish Years I've been on LOTC and have finally decided to open up an art thread.

Bust: Digital Color - 500 mina

No examples atm, but basically Digital Color but no Color, just outlining.

The Ashguard

(The Ruricguard during the Battle of the Bloody Road circa; 1638)

Background

The Ashguard serve as the primary Military force of the Kingdom of Norland. Over hundreds of years the Ashguard have stood the test of time, remaining true to the virtues that started the honorable force, and upholding the traditions they safeguard. The Ashguards goal is to protect Norland’s people, property, and well being to ensure our nation’s future. The Ashguard is led by the Marshall, a military commander selected by the current King of Norland. The Ashguard are sworn to House Ruric, the royal family of Norland.

Duties & Tenets

The Ashguard was created to uphold the peace throughout the territories of Norland. When a new blood ushers the Ashen Oath, they swear their sword to the Kingdom of Norland and House Ruric. Of which this oath cannot be broken unless given permission by a Ruric to leave. If a soldier leaves without permission they will be deemed as a deserter, and will be hunted down. The Ashguard hold Six Tenets of which are to be upheld by all members. If a member of the Ashguard fails to follow such tenets then they’ll be court martialed.

TENET I

To not harm or steal from another member of the Ashguard.

TENET II

To not harm or steal from the Norlandic peoples.

TENET III

Adhere to the chain of command, and follow orders from your superiors.

TENET IV

To keep a level head and remain in line.

TENET V

To fulfill your duties until you are either honorably or dishonorably discharged from the Ashguard.

TENET VI

To rise to the aid of the Norlandic peoples should a threat be identified.

Ranks

Marshall

The Marshall is in charge of leading the Ashguard. Personally selected by the King of Norland, their duty is to command and lead the Ashguard. He is in charge of any business involving the Ashguard. He is in charge of organizing trainings, skirmishes, and is tasked with assisting the King in military advice and leading the men in wartime.The Marshall listens to no one but the King of Norland. During wartime, the King may appoint himself as Marshall, instead of electing one.

Commander

The Commander(s) are in charge of assisting the Marshall of Norland in his regular duties. Most of the time the Commander is incharge of hosting training events or helping the Marshall. The Commander are selected by the Marshall as his Aid-de-camp to help him lead the Ashguard. The Rank Commander is the highest a normal Ashguard Soldier can Receive.

Kommissar

The Kommissar’s role is to keep the peace at any cost. A position usually held by someone held in high regard within Norland. Kommissar’s watch over training sessions stepping in only when they deem their presence needed, and safeguard the well being of the people of Norland from any threat either external or internal. The Kommissar takes orders directly from the Marshall and enact their will no matter the cost.

Huskarl

When a Man-at-arms is promoted to Huskarl they will be given their own small company consisting of no more than 8 soldiers. To make them battle-hardened Huskarl’s can only lead trainings under the supervision of a higher ranking officer until they are approved to do solo trainings by the Kommissar. Huskarl’s are tasked with keeping their man-at-arms and initiates in line.

Man-at-arms

The Man-at-arms is a veteran soldier who is battle-hardened. They know their fair-share of war and combat. They hardly have any duties besides fighting for the Ashguard. They are usually tasked with the same tasks as an Initiate, though are regarded higher. 

Initiate

The Initiate is the lowest rank within the Ashguard and makes up the majority of it. The Initiate is an inexperienced fighter who must prove themselves before becoming a Man-at-arms. The Initiate is tasked with getting supplies for The Ashguard such as mining, farming, and other miscellaneous tasks.

Ashen Oath

“I ______, do solemnly swear my sword to House Ruric and it’s members. I will protect it’s children and serve it’s leader. I shalt not take offense to the Ruric name, and brand itself with hate. I will dress myself in the red and black and represent House Ruric proudly. I shalt not abuse my powers, and will serve Norland’s people proudly.”

If one breaks this oath then they consent to Perma Kill. The only way one can leave is if they are honorable or Dishonorable discharged. You may leave if you ask to leave, so don’t be like an idiot and desert. Desertion will get you PKed

Exander Ruric would wonder why William would want Arbor to continue existing to begin with. Being further confused by the line "rightful heir to the throne" as such a statement implied the self proclaimed kingdom had any legitimacy to begin with.

"I will have to speak with William soon" Exander would say looking up from the paper that had somehow found itself to his volcanic doorstep.

I believe Staff have said that they are comfortable with giving players access to fly when building on another post, don't remember which one but it wasn't that long ago.

yes, but rply people who weren't undead wouldn't know this. You can say its unfair all you want but the bottom line is that in the "world of lotc" there are different standards and ways of thinking. This isn't 2017 america where you can be whatever you want and people have to accept it. This is a fake world with its own laws, and moral code.

Your RP has consequences that you just have to accept, one of them being that the majority of the living don't like the dead. Tough cookies.

Realistically a guild should only be able to form outside a nation if they have the resources to stand on their own, this would severely cut down the massive amount of empty "guilds" we had littering Axios. 

Along with that I don't think anyone should just be able to start a "guild" whenever they feel like it as in the majority of cases guilds are sponsored by a city who pays them to do specific tasks which could be anything from slaying monsters to raiding other nations. Its just my personal belief but a "guild" that isn't being sponsored is realistically just a club of people who hang out and do things.

 Guilds don't get to be treated as nations or nobility, in the end they should only exist outside of a nation IF they can support themselves with resources, wares, and mina.

There was once a time where guilds were ran within cities, and those who wished to make their "headquarters" outside of a city did so by gathering all the resources then building it by hand without LC.
