“Seven Blessings y’Grace!” Hello! I’m Muffins, and some people might know from a different server. My main account on Minecraft is the account Mooffins, but I have switched specifically to my Alt for here, which is Ilmarinen. I originally hail from MassiveCraft, which I played for many years. Due to that, I am quite experienced in Roleplay, and know my way around it. Admittedly, I’m a better writer, but they often go hand in hand. My time on MassiveCraft mostly revolved around running a noble family, House Ravenstad, and playing it’s head, Percival Ravenstad. Obviously that would make the core of my experience around human, low fantasy nobility roleplay, but I’ve dabbled in all sorts of things over time. My IRL interests revolve mostly around my passion for History, which I am currently about halfway through studying in University. I’m a Western Civ. Major, but I will eventually be enrolling in Graduate School for a specialization in British History. People who know will come to find I’m a bit of an Anglophile. I’m a huge American Football fan, my favourite team being the Los Angeles Chargers, which is a painful and dark existance to live through. Though I’m a loyal fan through and through. I’m actually from Georgia though, and lived there all my life. My other interests include writing, poetry, the Elder Scrolls (If you don’t honour the Sixth House and Tribe Unmourned don’t tag me xoxo), and Tom Cruise films (Guilty pleasure). I’ve held an account on here for a few years, but I never really did much at all on here. Mostly because I didn’t ever time to roleplay on two different servers, especially with work. I’ll likely be interacting with the High Elven stuff for the moment, but I’ll possibly do other things if and when I get more involved with stuff. I do have a lot on my plate IRL, unfortunately. Nay Definitions What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is immersing yourself into a world and/or character in order to enjoy yourself, being someone or something you are not. What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using knowledge of OOC, or Out of Character, things whilst you are IC (In character). What is powergaming?: This would be, most typically found in combat roleplay, when you as a character force others to comply what you are doing. This includes things like punching some other character, without giving them the opportunity to react, avoid, etc. In-Character Information Character’s name: Percy Ravenstad Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Heartlander Character’s age: 31 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): - Born to his Mother and Father, Charlotte and Deimar of House Ravenstad, Percy was the second and last born to the Ravensburgh branch of the family. Both of his parents are still young, still working and doing their day to day business. Growing up, Percy and his brother, Ashford, were the children of the local Felsen Baker. As a young child, Deimar, Percy's father, drafted as an Orderman to the St. Amyas in Peremont, where he contributed to the Ducal War against Adrian foes. This inspired the young Ravenstad to train with his elder brother in swordsmanship. He joined a travelling mercenary group when he was in 0his middle ages, and travelled across the duchies of the Realm. He travelled through the duchy of Courland, to Lorraine and down to the coast opposing the Province of Laureh'lin. His work took him everywhere, through mountains and forests but he ultimately found himself returning to the Capital City of Felsen to his family, in hopes of redeeming his vaguely honourable acts in order to join the Crozier Brotherhood. Personality Traits: - Decisive: Due to the situations regarding his past, Percy has grown fond of a decisive nature. This allows him to grasp a situation and explore the possible outcomes and take controlled and careful steps to achieve his goal. - Arrogant: Unlike his brother, Percy has developed an arrogant persona in regards to his actions and society. While he may often wave off the commodities of recognition, he often feels it necessary to argue with someone who challenges his word. - Childish: While he was raised to be a stoic and resilient man, Percy has since decided that this was a trope that he no longer wished to adhere to. He loves humour, and can always be found making the most inappropriate of jokes at the most inappropriate of times. - Spiteful: Due to his arrogance and childish demeanour in certain situations, Percy finds it near impossible to diminish a grudge once held. With this in mind, Percy will remain spiteful towards someone who has broken his given trust. Ambitions: - Percy wishes to showcase his skills as a competent and well rounded swordsman with the arrogance to boot. He wishes to one day become Knighted and serve his Emperor. Strengths/Talents: - Calculative: As a fast and strong fighter, Percy calculates his moves before he makes them in passive, and aggressive, situations. Percy is not feared as a strong warrior for his physical prowess or speed, but by how he calculates his moves. - Loyal: Even in pain and torture Percy has remained true and loyal to his kin and his Realm. He remains strong in times when others perhaps wouldn’t. - Quick Learner: Much alike his brother and cousins, Percy is a quick learner. He is quick at learning new moves, skills and information. Weaknesses/Inabilities: -Axe/Bow Wielding: Whilst being quick with a dagger and sword, Percy finds it incredibly difficult and even impossible to wield an axe or fire a bow better than a regular man. He was not trained in these areas, nor did he try to learn how to use them. -Rigid Shoulder: After the events during a previous spar, Percy's shoulder has never fully healed. While this rarely poses a problem, after vigorous activity and continuous use, Percy’s shoulder becomes rigid, and locks in place, taking a few minutes to cool down and loosen. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): -Percy stands at a striking 6ft 3inches, and weighs roughly 230lbs. He is broad chested, with muscle definition most prominent on his chests, legs and upper arms. Whilst holding a fairly proportionate bodily image, Percy's left hand was severely crippled in his childhood from a falling tree, and must wear gloves to cover it up.
