“When we were kids, We loved foolishly, When we were old, We loved as if it was our last hour.”- Arwa Bint Hakim Al-Hattan

In a cave within the sheikhdom was a family surrounding a goat skin bed. A daughter, Three sons, and a Husband were all that were there. The Sheikhess of the Sheikhdom laid in the bed tired, weak, and dying, her hand held closely by her Husband, as her daughter held the other hand kissing it, her son’s heads laying on her feet kissing them as well, while the sheikh stroked his wife’s hair, lip trembling, a tear rolling off his cheek. Arwa simply watched her husband with her loving smile, her hand gently lifting up toward her husband cheek as he closed his eyes sobbing. “We will break our fast in jannah habibi.” she looked toward her children “Oh my children, I am blessed to have you, Do not leave this faith we have raised you to embrace, even if the world would crash upon you..” she began to gasp before lifting a single index finger, her family went silent “He is Allah, the One and Only; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begets not, nor is He begotten; And there is none comparable unto Him. There is only One God and that is Allah, and forever shall I follow His light.” A smile moved over Arwa’s face, as her hand fell.

Arwa remembered the sweet smell of the bakery in Oasis as a little girl, how she would steal sweets from Marah and Zahra as soon as they set them from the oven, how it burnt her hand, and how she giggled when they chased her. She remembered being kidnaped when so young for some experiment for magic, but saved by her father and friends. She remembered finding a small egg, how proud she was to show her father, how she nurtured it, and watched it hatch to be a small rat snake. She remembered her mother.. She remembered when her mother died, no less to the same sickness as her now. She remembered meeting her Husband, their secret nights in the markets of the world. She remembered her children. She remembered.

Her children hugged their mother’s body, holding her tight all but her husband, his eyes seemed empty of any feeling, his face was stained by tears, the bags under his eyes were left but black tiredness. He walked outside his home, his cave and gazed upon the city. He could hear her voice, her sweet soft voice. His feet dragged to the masjid, leaving his shoes at the door, he looked to the ninety nine names of Allah, tears rolling off his cheek as he fell to his knees, a throat parched harshed sob came to him as his head buckled low, he flailed his hands to his head, his face red as he lifted his hands in prayer to ALLAH. “My lord, you have taken what is yours, you have taken my only supporter, She was the one who brought me onto your deen, forgive her sins Ya Rabbi, Forgive her.” he sobbed, his body collapsing to prostation “My lord, Take me to your Jannah, Make a bird and fly back home, Let me see her one last-” his words cut in prostration, his heart giving out from the loss.

The Grand Imam, The Sheikh, Naric Ibn Idris Zarkan of the house Kharadeen laid dead in the Masjid in prostration. His memories flooded him, He remembered first meeting Arwa, he remembered she taught him to read, How to write, To pray.. He remembered being alone and cold, only to be warmed by her embrace. He remembered becoming Judge in the Sultanate, he Remember founding the Furussiya order, He remembered when Arwa gave him his first son Hassan, He remembered the Sandstorm, He remembered leading his people out of the sandstorm after they repented, He remember founding the Sheikhdom, he remembered his people turning their backs on their faith once more, He remembered Arwa holding him, comforting him, and supporting him though his own people abandoned him… He remember giving up the comforts of a home…so his people could sleep in a house.

Naric Opened his eyes, to find himself sweating in fear, A scale was before him, a thunderous voice shook his very core “What have you done to stop your people from turning their backs on my deen? What have you done when you violated the Sharia, and Allowed them to marry one another? What have you done with this life I gave you?”

Naric’s eyes filled with tears as he fell to his knees “My lord, I did nothing, I did nothing out of weakness!” he sobbed, Suddenly two Anguels come forward with two books, Naric could not help but watch as they put his actions on the scale, sobbing, his scale smashed with sins as he hung his head in shame, his good deeds now set hardly a feather’s weight.

“My lord, I have no strength, For you have all Strength, I-” he was stopped with Four other Anguels approached. “This, is My Rahma, My Mercy.” said Allah. The first Anguel stepped forward and placed a book on the scale which threw all his sins off the scale with such force “This was the countless nights you shed your tears in fear of your lord.” The other book set down,  making a crack within the base of the scale “This was for your dedication in teaching your deen.” Naric could not but tear up at the sight before another book was set, cracking the scale further up “This was your teaching of your children your deen!” before another book set though it thundered, cracking the scale in half and to dust, and the very floor into a large crack “And this was your last act as sheikh.”

Naric trembled in fear and hope, his face soaked with tears before it was stated “Do you enter Jannah through your deeds, or my mercy?” Naric slowly stood himself up before announcing “Through your mercy, My lord.” A Anguel stepped forward and began to lead him into jannah, with the first level, All tears turned to tears of joy, at the second level, all heart break was removed, at the third, All illness was washed away, at the fourth, his youth returned to him, at the fifth, clothing of sultans was placed onto him, at the sixth, all joy filled him, and at the Seventh, he entered his Palace to find Arwa, and then All wants were given.

Arwa and Naric held each other close, and retired to their Palace, enjoying Jannah through Allah’s Mercy and finally breaking their fast together.

Upon Naric’s death a letter was written and sent out within the sheikhdom

“I Sheikh Naric Ibn Idris Zarkan of House Kharadeen, have left this Dunya, This is my final act and message to you all. We have come forward and established a Sheikhdom with the Creed of Allah, After he gave us mercy. We were in ignorance and we had left the worship of Allah, so he had punished us in the sandstorm, We returned to Allah, and came here to establish the sheikhdom on Rashidun laws. What did you do? You had turned your back on Allah, Had he not given you Mercy? Had he not given you a home? Had he not given you Food? You all live in complete disobedience of Allah, so much so, that even Shams, and My family have seen me ill from your transgressions. My wife Arwa, no one had come to aid her, no one sent salams or visited her, when she was the best amongst you. I leave this world ashamed of all of you. My family, I praise you for remaining steadfast in the path of Allah, continue to do so.

Go, Go transgress against Allah if you have no fear in him. BUT if you hold fear in Allah, than repent, remove yourselves of evil ways of Zina, Haram Relationships and marriages, Alcohol, pork, Stealing, harming, and pride! Return to the path of Allah.

Had I not given you your homes? Had I not lived in a cave, so you all may sleep on beds of wool, while I slept upon cold stone? Had I not fasted so you could eat?

May Allah forgive you all.. I shall not dictate whom shall be your next sheikh… I merely give two suggestions from amongst you, My son Hassan, and My Munavin Shams. If you wish to elect other than those you may do so.

All my possessions go to my children, for I had nothing but a wooden bowl, prayer beads, and my Kitab al Salam.

At my funeral, Give me the burial of the iman rashidun, with my wife Arwa, For she has attained martyrdom, and I shall break my fast in Jannah with her, for I love my wife, for she was my only faithful supporter, whom did not speak ill of me, nor my deen.

Select someone who has knowledge of the world, knowledge of your people, and Knowledge in your faith.

May Allah forgive us, and make us those who he smiles at.  I ask you, Repent to Allah, for he is our master, and from Allah we come, to him we shall return”

    The Yalasar Laws

It is not fitting for an individual, man or woman, believer or non believer, to undermine or disobey the laws set by Allah and his respective servants. For one who does, is indeed on a clearly wrong path.

    1. The many riches of this world belong to those that earned them. The ones that walk a path of thievery will walk a path towards exile.

    2. Those that not share the mutual enlightenment of Allah’s followers should be tolerated and treated as an equal, for they cannot help being born outside our sacred lands.

    3. These three laws will be the bulwark of the civility within the  Sheikhdom, for they are set in stone by the only supreme authority that reigns above all, Allah.

    The Bayezid Laws

In a world full of temptations and delusions, the individual must remain on the divine path set before him. In order for that to be possible, a strong understanding of the true meaning of sacrifice and necessity must be present.

    1. The enlightened individual of the  Sheikhdom shall not lie, unless the truth would harm the innocent.

    2. Malicious planning or intent are to be blocked out of the minds of those that enter the  Sheikhdom, for those undermine the individual’s divine bond with Allah.

    3. Power shall have no worth in the eyes of Allah, only through merit and good intent may one truly be elevated or pardoned.

    4. Corrupting the name of Allah and his legitimacy will be strictly forbidden within and outside the  Sheikhdom. As we respect you, we demand respect in return.

    5. Any individual breaking these laws in the eyes of other kin or relatives shall lose its representation by the  Sheikhdom, for it does not follow the true path it is required to.

    The Mercan Laws

For there are many corrupted in these lands that would lurk upon the riches and people of the  Sheikhdom out of jealousy or envy, it is essential that those that follow God and seek shelter in our sacred land must be protected and prepared for all that evil can bring.

    1. When an individual or a collective clearly seeks to undermine the first Yalasar law, Allah shall grant permission to defend and potentially harm the underminers. Only when it is a question of life and death, may the enlightened individual exceed its mortal boundary.

    3. Only the Sheikh is able to appoint his successor, for he represents the people of Rashidun.

    The Kismet Laws

In order to preserve the functionality of the social stature in the Farfolk society, laws must be established as an act of mutual understanding of what restrictions and liberties are for the best. Only through civil interaction can those with a good heart not be swayed to corruption and dark temptations

    1. All must be treated with equal respect and consideration within the  Sheikhdom with the exception of increased respect given to those blessed by the Sheikh’s grace.

    6. Those who have chosen to willing take the life of another without just cause shall have their life taken from them in a fashion befitting the crime itself.

    7. Any citizen who has for whatever reason evaded the payment of taxes due shall have their taxes doubled at the instant of sentencing. Criminals guilty of such are allowed to pay off in full at that moment. If they continue to refuse actively they shall have all of which they own reclaimed by the state and imprisoned before exile.

    8. Bribery is the most sincere form of deviation from the lawful will of the state and by extension Allah and shall be punished by being forced to pay the previously mentioned bribe twice over to the government in addition to the punishment for the crime the bribe was meant to cover.

    9. Whoever helps a murderer is by extension holding the blade himself and shall be treated to the same punishment as those who are found red handed and without mercy.

    10. Assaulting a citizen with obvious deadly intent or with the possession of a weapon during the assault will find themselves sentenced with capital punishment and then exile with duration set by the presiding officer at the scene. This may be done by entering at the gate and requesting escort by guard for the duration of their stay, paying dues and then being escorted out.

Glory be to Allah, The Most Merciful and Most Beneficent.

Word has come to us, That our Neighbors of the Southern continent have made a summit to discuss the matters of the Southern Continent, inviting everyone, but, The Sheikhdom. The People who lived within the Southern Continent long before these many new neighbors. Though these matters can easily be mistaken as a simple forgetfulness to invite us. The issue is the fact that there was not a single mention in your Summit of the Sandstorm that lasted seven years. Seven whole years. A sandstorm that would take the Capital of the Southern Continent to complete ruin, in which thousands died, an oasis which spurred generations, and a massive landmark of the south destroyed.

Nor the fact that none of our Neighbor nations had the heart to even recognize this great tragedy. It hurts us more to find that you all were aware but took no action to even attempt to bring it to an end, or provide aid after the fact. Rather, you are concerned about another bunch, which had migrated to colonize our homeland, much like yourselves. To even state that the Honorable people of the Lectorate, those far in the north, made efforts to aid us, and not a single neighbor of this South continent.

News reached us about discussing dividing up a land of our heritage. Had we not allowed you when you came to the south to settle freely? Had we not openly welcomed you? For the Land belongs to God Almighty and that it is the very basic right of the descendants to use a land within reason and respect to one another.

Though with all of this, I find myself writing even though my people are hurt by the actions of our neighbors not written here. I write the following: May you find Peace. May you find Stability. We give you the benefit of the doubt. We give forgiveness though we may not forget, we forgive.

God Willing at the next summit, we shall come and sit amongst our neighbors, with all honors deserving. Though we will not be voted in. We will not be voted in to discuss the future of our home which we had welcomed you all into so long ago. It is our home, and God willing, we will not be outsiders to the very land we grew and invited all to, while colonizers decide we are not native to the land we were born to.

To the nations within the summit, had we issue if you moved into our land, we would have certainly ensured you had not moved in. You are indeed most welcome in the Southern Continent, and we respect each and every one of you. We expect the same respect and dignity.

To my people, to my sons and daughters: No matter what the world may do, we are sons and daughters of mighty heroes. Heroes at which cowards shudder at their names. Heroes such as Khawla, Auda Al-Mahdi, Faiz Kharadeen, Ibraheem Aladeen, Menev, Saqr Al-Hamad, Antar, Ameen, Khalid Ibn Mahmoud and Ashur ibn Mahmoud, Uthman, Ashruf, Amin, Khalid Al-Nabeel. Our land is indeed a land of security and dignity, a land fertile of many honors and braves. Our people established the justice we all know today. Our people invented the basics of what the world lives on to this day. Indeed we are a nation of honors and dignity.

Some of you had expressed feelings of pain. Pain of what the world has caused us. Should we become refugees once more? Thrown and shunned to the wind as the world decides our fate? No, for even if the sun turned to Ash, and the Moon to dust, our hearts beat with dignity. Our Ummah still breathes, and even if the world shall turn its back against us, there is no one in the world we need besides Allah Almighty.

It is our home, and though I doubt the world will go upon the actions you all have suggested, we will not be affected by it. For have we not already been thrown and cast aside, had they not already stolen all that we owned, while we starved? We have rebuilt our home, and rebuilt our dignity, and no one can take it from you besides Almighty God. So be at ease.

    Glory be to Allah alone.

  6. News Reaches the Sheikh of the Rashidun Sheikhdom as he lifted a brow "So, they do a large meeting of the south...without inviting those who lived in this land longer than any of them setting foot on this land? let alone they do not bring up the Seven year long Sandstorm that destroyed a entire city to rubble... It seems these colonizers intrests are but only for themselves... We shall see what the future holds." he said setting the paper to the side as he looked over the sheikhdom noding proudly of his people "We shall see.."

A Letter is sent out to this Summit

"You had forgotten to invite those who have lived in this land Longer before any of you set foot on it. Inshallah this is merely a mistake, and hope that you inform us of the next meeting. Indeed we clearly would not need to discussed rather if we are allowed to join such summit or Alliance with all Honors. May you find peace and security.

“While the world may be a storm, We shall be steadfast.”

The Samid tribe was born through struggle in the years now known as “the years of struggle.” in which the once grand Fakhr Sultanate was thrown into great turmoil through Sandstorm and plague. All the tribe’s had suffered a great deal, no longer holding the individual might as they once had, had all merged their tribes into one unifying tribe for the Sake of Allah. This came with a new found banner and unity, the Tribe of the steadfast had made move away from the ruin that was the oasis, in hopes of new lands, and new lives.

With this, the tribesmen and tribe women now have the honor of the last name of Bani Samid or Al-Samid. Now settling within the Sheikhdom and being the tribal controllers of the Rashidun Sheikhdom. Thus was the disbanding of the Banu Fakhr, Banu Haybah, Banu Hamad, Banu Ullamah, Banu Zarkan, Banu Hattan, Banu Hadad.

Now unifying as The Banu Samid.

“Wise men once said…’We do not choose our destiny, Destiny chooses us’- ‘Al-Mahdi Auda Kharadeen’.”

A place which was once thought to be uninhabitable, due to it’s harsh terrain, and unforgiving climate, had now been claimed and built upon. The Village of Saqr, or in the common tongue, The village of the Falcon, has been built by the migrants of the fallen empire called the Sultanate of Kharasi. The Migrants, had moved in secret from the world to this location, and dedicated a whole year to it’s construction, hiding away from the world. A once barren mountain filled with dangerous animals and deadly weather and a crazed sea has now found a people poor but filled with hope and faith, had now soften it’s heart by the will of Allah and became welcoming for Allah’s slaves.

Due to this position of where this village now resides, it hold great promise, Being near several great powers, having access to the sea and many rich resources and now a people filled with master craftsmen, This village will soon become a place of opportunity, now all eyes are on this village, will it utilize and unlock it’s potential, or become stagnant like many that came before it.

“Blessed is the Falcon, that protects over its neighbor’s nest.”

The great fall of the Kharasi Sultanate, through a massive punishment from Allah Almighty had given birth to a generation born of Faith, a Zealous Zeal of Bravery and Honor, and Humility. Glory be to Allah for from the Ashes a new nation of braves had arisen and took forth the path of difficulty and Honor. Allah had honored them and to praise him, they became migrants, and settled upon the mountains of hardship. They decided that to keep firm in their faith, they will not live lives of ease, rather they will move upon the harsh mountains, where with every hardship came the remembrance of Allah and his praise, with its strong roots, they set roots. The mountain, in the harsh winters, covered them in snow, In the spring, harsh rain, and in the summer a glaring sun, all while climbing up and down upon this steep home.

Falcons Cry out upon the top of this new home, as the sea crashed against the rocks, sheep bleated, as the scents of Oud, and flowers radiated this mountain. But now this mountain held even more of a sacred treasure, The Call to Prayer, which echoed in beauty through the mountain and onto the shimmering sea.

Those before would call these men and women crazy for settling in this location, for such hardships would not be worth their time. But those that spoke were not of faith. They were those not in the faith of the one Mighty lord Allah, their Master. For those who worship Allah, indeed would be cared for.

These migrants had shunned the world, for they had abandoned the good, and the honesty of the truth. The world had abandoned them. And so for a year, the world had shut their gates on them, when they had nowhere to mourn, nowhere to smile.  So we had shut our gates upon the world, and mourned together, smiled together, and celebrated together.

The Right Guided Sheikhdom has been formed, and the Village of Saqr has planted its roots firmly.

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar!

May the Coward and Infidel Shake as the Mumineen’s flag rises once more.

    A Rashidun State is Born!

A Public letter has been written and sent around Almaris

“In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Beneficent, Our once home Called the Kharasi Sultanate, has fallen by the Might of Allah. He had put a test upon us brothers and sisters, Our nation had fallen into darkness and falsehood, and now We had returned to the path of righteousness and HAQQ, Truth. To the foriegn world we say this, When we had starved in our homes, what had you done? The world had come, and STOLE Our Livestock, They had STOLE our land, They had STOLE our CHILDREN, and They had STOLE our dignity.

Allah had granted Mercy on us, and brought us to the Truth. So, we say this. If you are one who has the fear of Allah within your hearts, and are of good character, then you are welcome to come and trade with us and seek our forgiveness. If you are one who holds no fear of Allah, and does not fear the Day of Judgment where we will be alone and our deeds brought before our lord, and you hold bad character, and hold no respect nor dignity for yourself or others, then go elsewhere. For you will not be welcomed here with anything but the sword. For we hold no tolerance for the filthy of the soul.

We have arisen from the rubble, to find the land shed with blood, with Fortress Afire, and bodies burned and children dead in the sand. We ask Allah to forgive the sins of us all.

We state to the world that in this Rashidun State, Justice will preserve and be a beacon, Fairness and The Truth will be raised high. If you come here, you are safe, and may Allah protect you, Know that we wish to only Secure prosperity and security. Come and trade freely, Come and smile happily, Come and Learn welcomely.

Those who give good, we give ten fold, those give respect we give ten fold, and those who seek the forgiveness of Allah and hold fear of their Lord, We bear witness of their sincerity before Allah.

We are people who hold a history unlike any the world has seen, a culture of purity, and a heart of bravery.

If you wish to gain a home, seek relations, or do trade or take use of the land, you must seek the Sheikh’s permission, who holds the only Authority within this Sheikhdom.

To our tribe members who are returning after the storm, being locked out from their homes, I shall inform you of the recent events, After the storm’s end, and we crawled from our homes, All tribes had been disbanded, a formed into a singular Tribe, Al-Samid, and thus united we now are as a singular tribe, bound through the harsh storms which had bonded us together as one heart.

Welcome to our home, and May Allah guide you All.

Six years had gone past, The great Kharasi Sultanate and its abundance of tribes, wealth, water, livestock had been wiped off the map in just a matter of a week. It had lost a great deal of faith, abandoning it’s Sharia and Haqq for a station amongst nations of the Kaffir. It is clear to them now, that this was a punishment from Allah, for their abandonment of faith and traditions, he had brought a sandstorm and decimated a once mighty empire of the south continent.

It was only the return to the prayer, and the request to Allah for forgiveness, and the fast of the holy month, did the six year long storm and plague ended. They knew, those who died within the storm, had they sought Allah’s aid, would be in Jannah, Seven Skies, and those that did not, would be in the blazing fires of Jahannam..

It was this time, that the storm ended, and slowly but surely did the people crawl from the rubble of their once luscious and rich capital, to find nothing but infertle sand, and ruins. On this day it was a day of tears of anguish and joy. Though they had lost everything, they had gained EVERYTHING. Faith burned in their hearts, due to the mercy of Allah they had gained freedom of the sun once more.. Children were born in the darkness, and for the first time, these children met the warmth of the sun, and the desolation that was the world. The call was made out into the ruins, a call for prayer, it was met with the silent steps of sand and the soft breeze. The people took what they could, and began their migration. Following the Grand Imam, they would god willing, find a place of peace, and a place to rekindle the faith and justice to the world which had abandoned them.

In so, The migration in the desert has begun, The freed people of ruin, now walk back into their homeland once more. Where they had went, No one knows, their tracks seem to be purposefully covered, perhaps in an attempt to flee from something else that they found that very blessed and cursed day..

    It now begins.

It has been six years…Six years within this storm of agony. The voices which spoke through to each other in each house had diminished.. We heard Rumblings before prompt screaming and silence as we heard buildings collapse and crushed who was inside seeking shelter.. For years we could not see the moon, nor tell day from night.

It could be us next, we all told ourselves… From the howling winds, and crumbling around us, we could but huddle and hope our homes were firm enough. Until now, a voice shouted through the storm toward those who may be still alive.

“I seen it! Oh my people! Oh Mumineen, I have seen it!” quickly a stir of hope flew and swifted around our poor selves! It was the Call of the Local Imam

“I had seen the moon! Fast my brothers and sisters! It is the month of Fasting! Fast! And Pray for the mercy of Allah! Pray that the storm is lifted! In turn we will return to the path of Rashidun! Dua my brothers! For we have no helpers besides Allah! He had created us, for Indeed he can destroy this storm! Surely with hardship will come ease! Repent!”

After words, The storm produced the howling of winds, crumbling of buildings, and now, The prayers of the unfortunate. We can now only hope..Hope this storm comes to an end, and finally receive our freedom once more.

[The Event line is near it’s true beginning, those who now near the sandstorm outside, can now make out the prayers to Allah for the ending of the storm. Next post will be posted after the storm ends informing the rest of the world.]

[Again, no magic, nothing can pierce the sandstorm, you can not enter the sandstorm, or exit it. Please keep roleplay outside of the oasis for now until the storm is declared at the end!]

Salam akhi, if you could tell me what details I am mixing up that would be appreciated.

The last ten nights of Ramadan are here! This is the last Ramadan post, for the next will be a Eid post! Now, many of you are wondering, “Ibraheem, why are you making a post about the last ten days of Ramadan?” well you son of a beautiful person! It is because in the last ten nights, there is a special night in which we muslims believe that Allah(God) goes down to the lowest heaven, and listens to every dua made and grants it or grants something ten fold better and forgives your sins. This night is called the night of power. The exact night has been lost to generations but we know it is within the last ten nights.

In this night, blessings and mercy are abundant, sins are forgiven, and prayers are granted and accepted, the angels are sent out to fulfill the decree of Allah. In this night what you may ask for will be granted or something better for you is given. So do not miss out this glorious chance to increase your reward and blessings, give out in charity, spend time in study, make an effort to do good and forbid evil. Remember even a smile is charity, and in this month the rewards are multiplied! Do not miss this chance!

For this Challenge, I challenge you all to complement the person who replied above you and @ them! A single complement! Their smile, their kindness, their chad pvp skills, their creativity, anything!!

The days were once calm in the Fakhr Sultanate, the oasis water let gentle flaps as the golden shimmer reflected upon the old fishermen’s faces, the wind blew in the children’s hair, and the sweet smell of vegetation filled the air. Woe to us for our ignorance.. Woe indeed, for it came suddenly, the air took still, and the sun bloated with a cold shadow. Had we only known what was to come..

It took the weak and many of the old and young first, a sickness unseen by the Fakhr… plague filled the street with the bellowing of widows and mothers but that was the easy part, the storm then came, Winds of glass, rock and sand poured into our homes. The sheep were lost, all vegetation ripped from the ground. Now is the year of sorrow, Now is the time Allah punishes us for our abandonment of Salah.. We hear the screams of those who have gone mad, and the sound of the doors open and the steps taken into the howling winds of death.

We are prisoners of our homes, all we must do is pray our supplies are enough..
